UK-based Bet365 is a full-service online gambling suite for players with interests in casino games, poker, sports betting, horse race betting, bingo and financials. The privately owned company is larger than both Ladbrokes and William Hill – and is considered one of the largest betting sites in the world.
This company first launched online in 2001 and has experienced substantial growth over its existence.
Bet365 is owned and operated by the Coates Family of Staffordshire, England. The company is the largest employer within its area with a whopping 1,700 people employed.
The sports and horse betting as well as the poker room are considered the premier products of this company although both were added to the offerings after its first product – the online casino.
No matter which betting venue you prefer, you will find something to please your appetite. This site has a large selection of casino games, is part of the well-respected iPoker network, and was the first site of its kind to offer a next-level sports and horse betting option that extended beyond simple international horse races.
The bonuses are modest but this site stays ahead of the curb with their offerings, customer service, and proprietary software features.
The banking options you can use will depend on what country you’re playing from. For example, when I looked at Albania, their page says they accept only 2 deposits methods.
The point – we’re going to include a list of deposit and withdrawal methods for players living in the United Kingdom below. That should give you the broadest idea of what banking options they accept. However, you’ll want to look at Bet365 yourself if you live elsewhere to figure out exactly what options are available to you.
These are the deposit options players from the UK can use to fund their accounts:
|Payment Method||Fee||Process Time||Min||Max|
|Bank Wire||Free||2-10 Biz Days||50||100000|
|Check||Free||5-28 Biz Days||1500||80000|
Bet365 doesn’t charge money to fund your account – at least for UK players. But you should check their ‘details’ link to see if that applies to your country, as well as to see specific details about time frames, currencies, limits and so on.
Here are the options you can use to cash out your winnings:
|Payment Method||Fee||Process Time||Min||Max|
|Skrill||Free||< 24 HRs||10||38000|
|PayPal||Free||< 24 HRs||20||10000|
|iDebit||Free||< 24 HRs||20||9999|
|Entropay||Free||< 24 HRs||75||30000|
|Bank Wire||Free||2-10 Days||40||50000|
The only option with a fee here are bank wires. You’ll need to access your account to see exactly what that is.
Bet365 offers several ways to get in touch:
They also accept snail mail. You can get the address off their contact page. All options, other than phone, is available 24/7/365.
One of the neat things about playing at such a large and popular sportsbook like Bet365 are all the offers. What I like about them specifically, is that when you look at their promotions page, it’s not just a laundry list of bonuses – they have several sports listed across the top, each with their own special offers.
And that’s just for their sportsbook. That doesn’t cover all the offers available in their other products – the casino, poker or bingo room.
We’re going to cover all the core offers for each of their products below. Along with the specific offer, we’ll tell you what rules they have, including what you have to wager, how much you get and how long you have to fulfill their terms.
This is their only offer that applies to all their sports. Other than this, you’ll have several sport-specific offers you can claim. I’ve listed a few of them below. But keep in mind that they may change if/when the sport’s not in season.
The following are the core offers you can claim in their casino.
There are 3 different bonuses – you can choose whichever one you want:
This has a min 30x rollover. But keep in mind not all games will contribute to clearing the bonus equally. The rollover will vary from 30x to 600x depending on what you want to play. You can find more specific details on their bonus page.
Get a 10% bonus every Tuesday in their live casino. You can get up to $200 depending on how much you lose during their promotional period. You’ll need to opt-in to participate.
Play real money games and earn points. You’ll receive points – which depends on the game you play, but will be anywhere from 1-3 points – for every 10 units you bet. Every 100 points you accumulate can be converted to 1 unit in your currency. You’ll earn points faster the higher up their VIP club you climb.
The points you earn will also determine your place in Bet365’s VIP scheme. There are 3 tiers:
You’ll need to roll your bonuses over 20x before you can cash them out.
Other perks of their VIP Scheme include better points to cash back conversion rates, special promotions, and fewer points needed to maintain your status.
There are a couple offers to claim in their games section.
The following are Bet365’s evergreen offers for online poker players:
The first five $1 installments will be paid with every 15 points you earn. The remaining balance – paid in installments of $2.50 – are paid out every time you hit 225 points each. You’ll earn points at the rate of 15 for every $1 you pay in rake.
My thoughts – this is one of the smallest poker bonuses I’ve seen. And it’s not overly generous, as it comes out to about 16% rake back – something a lot of players would scoff at.
Not only that, but this is the only evergreen offer Bet365 is running, other than their VIP program I cover below. But they do run limited time offers. For example:
And so on – which is on top of their tournaments and VIP program.
You’ll receive 15 Merit Points for every $1 you spend in rake in a real money game. These points will determine your VIP level. Here are the 4 levels in their program and the points needed to get to each one:
|Level||Merit Points Required|
The levels are important because they determine how much cash back you can get. It’s not just about saving enough points – you need to be at the required VIP level, too.
Here’s what that looks like to earn their Cash Rewards:
|Merit Points||Reward||Required VIP|
You can claim any of these, so long as you have the points and are currently at the level (or higher) you want to get the cash back for.
Then you have the Bonus Rewards. These rewards are double the cash rewards. To get these, you need to have maintained the status you want to claim the bonus for – or higher – for at least 3 months before claiming it.
That also goes for their Tournament Token Rewards – where you can claim tournament tokens valued at $50 to $200.
The following is a list of their evergreen promotions for their bingo players.
This come with 3 different perks:
There are several other offers – more than 15 – to claim in the bingo room. Some of them are long-term offers, while others are limited time – they’re only available for a couple weeks, or may be a month.
So, the following is a list of their longer-term offers so you can get an idea of what to expect.
There are many others like that, which is pretty cool. It gives you a reason to come back and play, day in and day out.
As does their VIP Club.
Earn points playing real money bingo games. These points determine your VIP level. Here’s a chart showing you how many points you need to earn to attain and maintain your VIP level.
|LPs required to attain VIP level||1||60||600||6,000|
|LPs required to maintain VIP level||€ 0||60||500||5,000|
You’ll earn anywhere from 1-6 points for playing slots, scratch cards and bingo games. Other than achieving the levels above, you can exchange points for cash back – 100 points being the minimum.
What’s important to know about the points is that they expire after 90 days. So, if you’re close to a 100-point marker, it probably makes sense to earn any remaining points you need to claim your bonus.
That wraps up Bet365’s offers. Now we’ll look at their gambling options.
Let’s talk about their sportsbook.
There are two things I noticed when I first landed in their sportsbook:
I was concerned about the mobile betting options. But I didn’t need to be. When you go to Bet365.com from your phone, they redirect you to a mobile website.
In fact, it’s funny – but in a way, their mobile site feels less crowded than their main website. It doesn’t feel as overwhelming. But maybe that’s because everything has to fit on a 3-4” screen. You have to scroll to see everything, instead of it all hitting you in the face on a 15” monitor.
I don’t know.
Anyway, you can ignore the sidebar – it’s nothing but promotions and bonus offers. This makes their sportsbook a bit less overwhelming. You can then focus on their betting options. And when I was there, the focus was on their live (in-play) betting.
I checked their in-play betting section out. These are the markets you could (currently) bet on:
They have a tab for each sport, which can make it difficult to track all your bets. But all you need to do is save the matches you want to pay attention to. Then you can follow them in the favorites section.
I also found a unique feature while checking out their FAQ. They have a ‘Live Match Alerts’ option where they’ll send you notifications to your Apple, Android or Windows mobile device.
But this is only available for soccer teams/matches you’re betting on. This sounds like a neat feature – one I hope they expand to other markets in the near future.
Live streaming is also available, but you must have an account, and you’ll either need money in it -or- you’ll need to have made a bet in the last 24 hours.
This is something to consider doing, even if you don’t want to make all your bets at Bet365. Because when I checked out their schedule, I saw that they offered live streaming for tennis, soccer, bowls, greyhounds, horse racing, and much more.
So, having an account with $5 in it so you can watch live matches might be something you consider doing (at the very least).
Now as far as regular betting goes, these are the markets you can bet on:
Many tabs drop down to show additional options, unless a sport’s in the offseason, like (American) football was when I checked them out. For example, I looked under the More Sports tab and found all sorts of additional (offbeat) markets:
One area we’ve noticed growing at a rapid pace is esports. Esports is a fancy way of saying professional video game playing.
Newzoo says that, in 2017, the esports industry grew to $696 million. This is a year-on-year growth of 41.3%.
Naturally, when an industry displays growth like that, opportunities arise. Such as is the case with esports betting – betting on video gamers, teams, matches, and so on.
Bet365 is one of many sportsbooks who are jumping on this explosive industry. They offer odds on many popular esports games, matches and leagues. When we checked them out for this review, they were covering the following games:
Some of the tournaments and leagues they were covering include:
And others. They cover quite a bit of ground. Then there are the different types of bets you can make. Some of the markets you can bet on at Bet365 include:
There are lots more than that, too. This is great to see, especially when compared to other bookmakers who only cover 1-2 matches or markets.
That said, one thing Bet365 doesn’t have – much less many other esports sportsbooks I’ve reviewed – is live esports betting. I didn’t see that or live streaming.
That’s my biggest complaint, though, which isn’t much in the grand scheme of things. They cover several games, tournaments and leagues, as well as have a large list of betting options. That’s going to be good enough for 90% of bettors, I think.
The bottom line – Bet365’s esports section is well above-average.
And as for betting options, you can make all sorts of bets. For example, you can make moneyline bets, props, futures, accumulators, totals, if bets, reverse if bets, teasers, multiple bets, Asian handicaps, and more.
You can bet/win a decent amount of money, too. Bet365 has lots of markets, so we won’t post them all here. But you can find all their max limits on their terms and conditions page. This tells you what the max you can win is for each market in a 24-hour timeframe.
The maxes are pretty high – I doubt most people reading this will ever bet high enough to reach the maxes they have – which are as high as $500,000 to $2 million.
That said, Bet365 is not pro-friendly. Sharps will have their limits cut. Our sources say they’ve seen reports of winners being cut after they hit five-figures in profits.
And that’s about it.
Everything about their sportsbook is pretty standard. You’ll find lots of sports to bet on, as well as several features to help you bet or to have a good time betting. Stuff you’d expect from a company like Bet365.
Now let’s look at Bet365’s casino.
This section also covers most of their games section, too. Why they have two sections for casino games is beyond me. Many of the games you’ll find in their games section are also available in their casino (and bingo) section, too.
One thing I was surprised to find out about Bet365’s casino is that they don’t have as many casino games as you might expect them to. Especially considering how they work with multiple software companies, or that some of their competitors offer 500-1,000+ games.
But that’s just not the case here.
And it’s okay. They still have 200+ games (of which 150 are slots) from top software companies like NetEnt, Playtech, Quickfire (Microgaming) and Aristocrat. You’ll have a good selection of slots, live dealer, table, card and video poker games to choose from.
In fact, let’s look at some of the games you can play. We’re not going to show them all, but you’ll find a few titles from each main section so you can get an idea of what Bet365 has to offer.
I think it’s pretty cool to see both Euro and Asian dealers. And it’s an option you won’t find offered at every live dealer casino.
One thing I like seeing are the unique games you won’t often find online. A couple that come to mind are 3-card brag and tequila poker.
That said, one thing I’d like to see more of are regular card games. Most casinos have selections 2-3x this size – even at offshore, US-facing casinos.
Not much to add here. It’s cool to see so many roulette variations. The Marvel Roulette would be first on my list of games to play – and I’m not even a roulette player.
Nothing to add here, except that you’ll find even more ‘games’ and keno in the games section of their website.
My favorite thing about their slots selection are the comic book themed slot machines. Machines like Spider-Man and The Avengers instantly stood out to me – those’d be the first ones I’d play.
You’ll find many of these exact machines in brick and mortar casinos. This is one of the benefits to playing at a legit online casino like Bet365, instead of a dodgy offshore casino.
There are plenty of non-comic themed slots that caught my eye, too. Rocky caught my attention, as well as Kong and The Mummy – all popular movies and/or characters.
The bottom line – there are plenty of machines to play, no matter which theme or type of slot you’re into. You’ll find all kinds here, ranging from 3 and 5-reels, classic and video slots, progressives, slots with features, and so on.
In fact, it’s almost hard not to find a slot machine when they have more than 150 of them.
I’m not impressed with this list of video poker machines. It’s just okay. It gets the job done. You’ll find a larger selection at any Microgaming-powered casino, and even at some US-facing offshore casinos.
You have several options for how to play their casino games.
One option is their download. The other is their no-download (browser) casino. I usually prefer the no download option, unless there’s a specific reason to get the download. The browser casino has many benefits, which you can learn about on our site.
You can also play on your mobile device. Bet365 has an app, though I didn’t check it out because it’s only compatible with Android. But that’s okay because you can play from your phone in their no download casino instead.
According to their mobile page, their apps and browser casino are only compatible with Android and Apple devices. But I wouldn’t let that stop you from checking them out on your Windows or BlackBerry device, though – just to see if it works.
Now we’re going to look at Bet365’s poker options.
I’ll start off by saying their online poker room isn’t their strong suit. When I last checked, they were 7th in overall traffic and 5th in international traffic. To put that into perspective – they had 4,000 players compared to PokerStars’ (1st in both overall and international traffic) 86,000 players.
I checked both during off-peak hours.
That being said, they are on the iPoker Network. This means their player base is made up of the players from all the sites on the network. That includes bigger brands like Will Hill, Titan Poker, Ladbrokes and BetFred. So, even when it’s slow you should still be able to find a game or two running.
Not only that, but I found a few neat things here that might draw you to play here instead of the 800- pound gorilla that’s PokerStars.
There’s nothing wrong with having an account at both Bet365 and PokerStars.
I’ll get to the unique games in just a minute. But let’s first look at the cash games you can play.
Bet365 offers holdem, omaha, 7-card stud and 5-card stud.
Their cash game limits range from $.01/.02 to $50/$100 for both pot and no limit. Fixed limit games peak at $300/$600. Players say most games run at the $1/$2 level or lower for both holdem and omaha, Bet365’s most popular games.
The most popular variant is 6-max, though you can play full-ring (9-handed) if you prefer. They do have a few interesting cash game variants, too, including buy-in (20-50 bb max), buy-in minimums (100 blinds) and forced antes.
One thing I found and liked are their Beginner’s Cash Tables. All new accounts – those that are 90 days or younger – can play at these tables. This gives you a chance to get your feet wet and learn the software. I think this is a much better solution than sites who have the anonymous tables and look down on pros.
Another interesting game I found is called 6+ Holdem. This is a new variant from iPoker, which is traditional to no limit holdem in many ways – structure, betting rounds and number of hole cards – but is different in that the 2 to 5 cards are removed from the deck. This means there are only 36 cards instead of 52.
This is a big deal as there are fewer pairs dealt, as well as fewer premium hands (sets, full houses, sets) at showdown.
It also changes the odds of making certain hands. So much so that they had to change the hand rankings. For example:
Others say this is an action packed game. So, if you’re tired of playing traditional holdem or you want to learn something new, this might be the game for you.
Not into cash games…?
That’s okay. You can check out Bet365’s poker tournaments instead. This is what their schedule looked like when I last visited their site:

What stands out most to me are all the lower buy-in events. On top of that you have their satellites and re-buy tournaments. The $50 guaranteed tourneys are great, too.
What I get from all this is that Bet365 is great for all players, but especially those who are new, building their bankroll and/or are on a budget.
You’ll have to check out their schedule to fully appreciate all the tournaments you can play. But there are two more unique tournaments I want to talk about before I move on to the next section.
What’s unique about Twister SNGS is that you don’t know what the prize pool is until right before the game begins. And, the amount is chosen at random.
You read that right – the prize pool is random. Bet365 says you can play for prize pools worth as much as 1,000 times your buy-in. For example, you could buy into a $1 tourney and be playing for a piece of $1,000.
That’s pretty crazy! Not only that, but the distribution is VERY top-heavy.
This sounds pretty crazy, and not something I’d play regularly (or professionally). But I bet this’d be loads of fun to play on Friday when all the weekend warriors are out, drinking and spewing their chips.
You can see more details about this variant, including the odds of the different prize pools here.
Steps are an interesting variant that’s been around for a few years. The general idea is this – there are several tournaments with buy-ins starting real low, like free or $.50, that climb to a much higher buy-in – like $500 or $1,000.
You can buy in directly to any of these tournaments – even the last one, where you can play for the best prize – a huge cash prize, satellite or something else that everyone wants.
But the real draw to these tourneys is starting at the bottom and climbing your way up. Every tournament you win (or cash high enough in) will advance you to the next “step.” You keep going until you make it to the end or bust.
Along the way, you can cash high enough NOT to advance to the next step, but sometimes you’ll be able to redo the step you’re on, or you can drop down to the step below you and try again.
These offer a TON of value for what could be a very small investment. Even if you don’t win anything, you can play several tournaments on just a few bucks – you’ll get your money’s worth.
But you can also win a lot of money. And in Bet365’s Premium Step series, the winner of the 9th step collects a cool $800. And all you need to get started is $.50 or 100 Merit Points.
Here are all the steps in their Premium series:
|1||€0.50 or 100 Merit Points||Step 2||€0.25|
|2||€1.10||Step 3||Step 1|
|3||€2.50||Step 4||Step 2|
|4||€5.50||Step 5||Step 3|
|5||€12.50||Step 6||Step 4|
|6||€29||Step 7||Step 5|
|7||€65.50||Step 8||Step 6|
|8||€151||Step 9||Step 7|
So, that wraps up what I wanted to cover in their poker section. They offer the basics – holdem, omaha, stud, etc. – but they have several neat and unique games you won’t find anywhere else. That’s reason enough, I think, to check them out.
Now let’s take a quick look at their software before we move on.
You have a couple of options here.
You can download their software, which I recommend poker players do. However, it’s only compatible with Windows.
The other option – the option available to Mac and Linux users, and anyone else who hates downloading software – is the no download (browser) poker room.
I recommend their download because it’s compatible with 3rd party programs like Poker Tracker and Holdem Manager. You can play up to 16 tables at once, whereas you’re limited to one in the no download, and as many as 6 in their mobile app.
For mobile users, you have a couple of choices. You can download their app, or you can play from your browser.
Bet365 recommends you use their app, because this has more features, faster gameplay, and works better all around.
That’s what I recommend you do unless you only plan to play a game here or there – then you can probably make the no download route work.
And besides, I’ve seen a few pics of the app. It looks pretty good – clean and easy to use, which is good news if you plan to play the 6-table max.
Here’s a few details about Bet365’s bingo hall.
What stuck out to me is how much their bingo hall looked like a slots or game section rather than a bingo section. I mean, the first things you see when you hit their bingo hall are instant win and slot games. I counted 130+ slots and 10+ scratch card games – and that’s not all of them.
And I came across all that BEFORE I saw anything related to bingo. I have no idea why. But I did come across their bingo games (further down their main bingo page). Here are the games that were starting when I was there:
These varied in price from .15 to .25 per card.
I couldn’t find a list of all the bingo games Bet365 offers on their site. But I found a list somewhere elsewhere. The games you can play include:
All-in-all, they have 14+ rooms.
No download is necessary – you can play from your browser. Which is a result of an overhaul their bingo room went through a few years ago when everything was updated to HTML5. This means they’re mobile-compatible, too.
That said, Bet365 has (bingo) apps you can download. These are compatible with Android and Apple mobile devices. And, like the poker apps, they recommend you download them if you can, because they’ll have extra features, better graphics and will simply work better all around.
And that’s it for their bingo hall …and all of their gambling options.
You read the whole thing – I’m impressed.
Honestly, though, Bet365 is an easy recommendation for anyone wanting to gamble online. You’ll find high ratings and reviews across the web. Not just biased reviews, either, but strong recommendations from gamblers with years of (online) gambling experience.
They’re not strong in every area, of course. I think their poker room is their weakest product. But what do you expect when they have to compete with PokerStars, who has a monopoly over the online poker industry?
There are other negatives, too. For example, a $100 or $200 deposit bonus is laughable when most other online gambling sites offer $500, $1,000 or $5,000 bonuses – which is ON TOP of several offers and cashback deals.
But that’s not a big deal. You shouldn’t sign up to a gambling site because they offer the biggest bonus. That’s child’s play, and not something Bet365 does – or has to do.
