Review of El Royale Casino

We were iffy when the El Royale Casino review came across our desk. Do we really need another RealTime Gaming online casino?

But here’s what caught our attention about ElRoyaleCasino.com. First, they have live dealer games. This is an uncommon option for US-facing gambling sites, so it excited us to see that you can play those games here. And we were even more excited after checking them out. We’ll explain why in the live dealer section of our review.

And second, El Royale Casino has more than a dozen deposit bonuses and free spin offers for you to claim. We’re talking hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in value just for signing up.

Of course, not everything we found at El Royale Casino was up to our standards. That includes their promotions. We’re going to share both the good and the bad because we believe online casino reviews should be honest and transparent. Otherwise, is it really a review?

El Royale Casino Basic Information

El Royale Casino is brand new at the time of writing this review. There’s not much information about them online, so here’s the little we do know about them.

We know they’re licensed in Curacao. We also know they’re part of a family of online casinos that include Slots Empire, Red Dog, and Aussie Play.

And we know that El Royale’s sister casinos have decent reviews, so there’s no reason for us to think you’ll have anything other than a good time playing at ElRoyaleCasino.com

Of course, we’ll update this review of El Royale Casino if we receive any new information.

Restricted Countries – Who Can Play

El Royale prohibits players from the following countries from playing for real money on their site.

  • Afghanistan
  • Azerbaijan
  • Belarus
  • Costa Rica
  • Curacao
  • Estonia
  • Hungary
  • India
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Israel
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Macedonia
  • Malaysia
  • Netherlands
  • Pakistan
  • Poland
  • Romania
  • Russia
  • Turkey
  • Ukraine

We recommend you read their terms and conditions before you join in case their list of prohibited countries has changed.

The Online Casino at El Royale

El Royale Casino uses RealTime Gaming software. This gives us a predictable but also reliable and fun library of casino games. This includes table and card games, video poker, and slots. We’ll share some examples of games we found and tested during our ElCasinoRoyale.com review in the following sections.

The curveball comes from their live dealer casino from Visionary iGaming (also known as Vig Games). This alone is worth joining El Royale for over other RealTime Gaming casinos.

And there’s no download to worry about. You can play all their games in your browser. That includes their mobile games.

There are a couple of minor downsides to their mobile casino. We’ll get to that in a second. First, we want to look at their primary desktop casino, the games you can play, and stakes you can play for.

Let’s kick things off with their table games.

Table and Card Games

We found 21 table and card games during our review.

  • War
  • Vegas Three Card Rummy
  • Tri Card Poker
  • Texas Hold’em Bonus
  • Super 21
  • Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack
  • Red Dog
  • Pontoon
  • Blackjack + Perfect Pairs
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Match Play 21
  • Let ‘Em Ride
  • Face Up 21
  • European Roulette
  • European Blackjack
  • Craps
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Caribbean Hold’em
  • Caribbean Draw Poker
  • Blackjack
  • Baccarat

Like many other RTG casinos, El Royale has a slight organization problem. For example, they have a couple of roulette games in their table games section and a few more in their specialty games section.

This isn’t a huge problem. We point it out because there’s a chance that someone who wants to play roulette might miss these games and decide to go elsewhere to play them.

That’s why we recommend using their search bar (for all their games). This is the only way to know for sure if El Royale Casino has the specific games and variants you want to play.

On the upside, their table games look and work great. And their table limits work for most people, $1 to $500 depending on the game.

If you want to play for higher stakes, you can always visit their live dealer casino.

Video Poker

El Royale has 14 video poker machines for you to choose from.

  • Aces and Eights
  • All American Poker
  • Bonus Deuces Wild
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Jackpot Poker
  • Loose Deuces Sevens Wild
  • Deuces Wild
  • Bonus Poker
  • Bonus Poker Deluxe
  • Jacks or Better
  • Joker Poker
  • Double Jackpot Poker
  • Sevens Wild

Their poker machines remind us of the machines we played in Las Vegas. The graphics aren’t fancy, and the games are simple. But that’s exactly how it should be.

The stakes you can play for depends on the machine. We found poker machines that let us wager anywhere from $0.01 to $1 per credit. This means the max you can wager is $5 per hand.

If you want to wager more per hand, we recommend you play one of their multi-hand variants. They offer three-, ten-, and 52-hand variants for each of the poker games listed above. Play the 52-hand variant at $5 per hand and that comes out to $260 per round. Not too bad.

Overall, we’re happy with El Royale’s video poker section. They have plenty of games and variants, and the stakes are reasonable. They get two thumbs up from us.

El Royale Casino Slots

You’ll find more than 125 slot machines at El Royale Casino. The following are some of the machines that stuck out the most during our review.

  • Bubble Bubble 2
  • Cash Bandits 2
  • Crystal Waters
  • Winmore
  • Green Light
  • Texas Tycoon
  • The Three Stooges Brideless Groom
  • Tiger Treasures
  • T-Rex
  • Voodoo Magic
  • Magic Mushroom
  • Jumping Beans
  • Lucky 6
  • The Big Bopper
  • Spirit of the Inca
  • Aztec’s Millions
  • Ronin
  • Return of the Rudolph
  • Pirate Isle 3D
  • Polar Explorer
  • Panda’s Gold
  • Pig Winner

El Royale categorizes their slots to make them easier to find. You can sort their machines by three-, five-, and six-reels, bonus rounds, progressives, and floating symbols.

This is a good start, but we’d love it if they also had a theme category. That way, you could choose a slot machine based on a theme like animals, money, fairytales, outer space, movies, and more. That’s the only complaint we have.

Their stakes start at $0.01/line. The minimum bet depends on the machine, but we’ve seen machines with minimums as low as $0.13 per spin.

The maximum bet also depends. The highest we’ve seen is $50 per spin, which isn’t high at all. But we didn’t go through all 125+ machines either.

The slot machines we did test during our El Royale Casino review worked great. We didn’t experience any lags or errors, or anything else worth reporting. Another two thumbs up from us.

Live Dealer Games

ElRoyaleCasino.com has a live dealer casino from Visionary iGaming. These are the games we found during our review.

  • Blackjack HD
  • Blackjack Early Payout
  • European Roulette
  • American Roulette
  • Live Baccarat
  • Super 6 Live Baccarat

They’re missing a few live dealer games that you can play elsewhere. For example, you won’t find games like Casino Hold’em, Dragon Tiger, Monopoly, Dream Catcher, or Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker here.

That’s okay. This is a good start. Maybe Vig Games or El Royale will add more in the future.

One thing that excites us about their live games is that it gives you a chance to play for stakes you can’t play their animated games for. You can play for as much as $1,000 per round for non-blackjack games and as much as $2,500 per blackjack hand.

Beyond that, we like the fact that you can choose from different dealers (men or women). This gives you a similar experience to playing live, in addition to chatting with your tablemates and the dealer.

Our biggest complaint is that their video stream is a little grainy. It’s not nearly as clear as the live dealer games from Evolution Gaming.

That shouldn’t stop you from playing them, though, especially since Americans have so few live dealer options as it is. Check out the live dealer casino. We’re sure you’ll love it.

Banking Options at El Royale Casino

El Royale accepts a handful of US-friendly banking options. Their deposit limits are all reasonable. And you can fund your account for as little as $10 to $30 and as much as $2,500 per transaction.

Their withdrawal minimum limits are too high for us. $150 is the minimum for every option. This forces you to play or deposit more to meet this threshold, which sucks when all you want to do is quit.

We assume they have this limit in place, though, because they don’t charge any fees for cashing out. This isn’t standard practice in the online gambling industry, and we applaud it.

For that reason, we think it’s a reasonable tradeoff. Their maximum withdrawal limits are okay at $2,500 per transaction. They say nothing about weekly or monthly limits either, which is great. And they’ll increase the transaction limit for higher-level VIPs.

The payment processing timeframes are reasonable, too. Cashouts take up to five business days (but can be quicker) once you’ve submitted your ID and paperwork, which can take a couple of days to verify.

Overall, we can’t complain about the cashier at ElRoyaleCasino.com. Neither can American online casino players.

  • Visa – $30 to $1,000
  • Mastercard – $30 to $1,000
  • Bitcoin – $20 to $2,500
  • Gift card – $25 to $500
  • Neosurf – $10 to $250

Withdrawals

  • Visa – $150 to $2,500
  • Mastercard – $150 to $2,500
  • Bank Wire – $150 to $2,500
  • Bitcoin – $150 to $2,500

Bonus Promotions at El Royale Casino

El Royale Casino has a few promotions for new and existing customers. We go over their evergreen offers, loyalty program, and the terms you should know below.

Welcome Offers

El Royale online casino has several deals for first-time depositors.

  • 240% bonus plus 40 free spins on Bubble Bubble 2
  • 260% bonus
  • 225% bonus plus 20 free spins on Cash Bandits 2
  • 230% bonus plus 40 free spins on Cash Bandits 2
  • 245% bonus plus 40 free spins on Cash Bandits 2
  • 70 free spins on Aladdin Wishes
  • 240% bonus for slots

El Royale doesn’t make it clear when you can use each offer. But they do say in their FAQs that you don’t have to choose, you can claim each one.

Here are the general terms for these bonuses.

You must deposit $10-$30 to claim each offer. The exact amount depends on the banking method you use.

The default playthrough is 35x the deposit and bonus, which is high, especially for slots players. It’s not the worst we’ve seen, though.

The bonus money isn’t cashable, only your winnings are. And the most you can cash out is 30x your deposit.

The only term or rule we didn’t find during our review is the limit for how much bonus money you can receive. We asked them about it but didn’t receive an answer.

Promotions for Existing Players

ElRoyaleCasino.com has new players covered, but what about existing players? What offers are existing players able to claim?

Quite a few, actually. The following are some of the offers existing customers can expect to find at El Royale Casino online.

  • 160% bonus for slots players
  • 130% bonus for slots players
  • 160% bonus for slots players
  • 165% slots bonus (plus an extra 20% for BTC/Neosurf deposits)
  • 115% slots bonus
  • 135% slots bonus
  • 165% slots bonus
  • 125% slots and card game bonus
  • 100 free spins on Panda’s Gold
  • 65 free spins on Panda’s Gold
  • 100 free spins on Panda’s Gold

Again, it’s not clear if there’s a specific order to these offers or if you can claim them in any order you want. But it does sound like you can claim every single one.

We recommend you pay attention to the terms as it looks like the minimum deposit requirements change based on the offer and banking method you use. And some banking methods will earn you a higher match percentage than others.

El Royale also doesn’t clarify how much bonus money you can claim. But chances are, you’ll find out quick if you try to deposit too much.

Comp Points

El Royale has a simple comp points system. You’ll receive one comp point for every $10 you wager. You can convert every 100 points you accrue into $1 cash.

You can use this cash on any game you want, and there are no wager requirements on the money you win.

Mobile Friendliness

El Royale Casino doesn’t have a native app. But they do have a mobile-friendly browser casino that’s compatible with newer devices running iOS and Android operating systems.

Their mobile casino is set up well. It’s easy to find the cashier, your messages (where they bombard you with additional deposit bonus offers), and the different game areas of their casino.

The games we played worked great. They looked pretty good too, though, we think they look better on the desktop casino.

One complaint we have from our El Casino Royale review is that there’s no full screen option, even when you view the game on landscape mode. You can still see the top of the browser, which is distracting.

It also looks like you can’t play all their table and video poker games from your phone. But they’re a new casino, which means that it might be a few months before they get them all added. We’ll have to wait and see.

ElRoyalCasino.com Customer Support

You can contact El Royale support using one of the following options.

We sent them an email to ask about their promotions, specifically about the maximum bonus you can earn, their comp points, and the option to play their games for free.

They responded quickly, which is awesome. But they could have done a better job with their answers. They ignored our first question but answered our second question. And as for the third question?

They didn’t tell us if it’s possible to play their games for free, but we later found out it’s possible. But they did give us a $50 credit to play with.

Ultimately, El Royale can do better with their customer support. On the bright side, they did answer our email quickly and they have phone support. Few US-facing online casinos can say the same thing.

Summary of Our El Royale Casino Review

That’s El Royale Casino in a nutshell.

El Royale is a new casino, which might explain why they dropped the ball in a few areas, such as their bonus terms or their email support.

We expect that El Royale will work these kinks out once they’re done getting their casino out of the blister pack.

Besides, the few downsides we spotted in our El Royale Casino review doesn’t counter all the goodies we found, such as the thousands of dollars in bonuses you can claim, the 125+ slots you can play, or the live dealer casino.

The bottom line — if you’re in the neighborhood for a new casino and love RealTime Gaming, or haven’t played their games yet, we encourage you to give ElRoyaleCasino.com a closer look.

terrible online casino, quick to take your deposited money, super fucking slow to payout, if at all.

Also, the 3-5 days you have to wait to get “paid” is not true. It takes 3-5 days just for them to process your request, then you have to wait another 3-5 days.

I”ve been waiting for a month now for a payment that NEVER came through even though they claim it has.

THEN they ask you to prove it with pictures of your bank statement.

EVEN after i did that, I was given an answer to a question that was never asked.

STILL waiting for 2 payouts and now no response from email.

    worthless fucking site

I don’t know the regulating agency that is in charge of this, but the casino doesn’t pay. I requested 2000 cash out and they only approved 1000. At the time, I have 10000 in the account. Then funny thing is, the 1000 never hit my bank card for one month. I have to show them my bank statement to show it doesn’t arrive. Then they say they will investigate. I think if there is a gaming control board, we should report this, it really pissed me off.

Don’t put your money on here worst casino on planet earth. Plz listen to me wipe this shit stain off the map.

  5. MD June 3, 2020 at 7:02 pm

The Reviews are total BS. The validation process is a complete nightmare. They now have a lot of information that if hacked or accessed by a rogue employee they can wipe you out. After the ridiculously horrible validation process I requested a payout in full which was below their maximum.
Two and a half weeks later I received an email saying “Congratulations” we are pleased to announce your payout has been approved for 20% of your winnings. WTF? An eight week process and now they only want to shell out 20% of my winnings. Of course after contacting customer service in Milton FL. They said “Oh” you didn’t read the terms and conditions. They have the right to send you any amount of your winnings they choose at any time they choose. Again, WTF!!! They are complete criminals and should be removed from any online gaming in the USA. This is a WARNING, DO NOT PLAY AT THIS CASINO EVER! YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH ZERO RECOURSE. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.

One month for Document Validation for Payouts, 10-15 working days for a CC payout. Their website says anywhere between 1-5 working days. It’s a lie. They’ll take your money in a heartbeat, getting any sort of payout can take forever. And beware of their infamous play-throughs!!! Fun games but my god, good luck getting any winnings!

  7. Wanda Stetson May 31, 2020 at 5:58 am

Elroyal is the worst casino I ever spent my money on I won 4500 and they kept saying I didn’t send all info witch I did nine times and after a month of this they said I broke a rule witch voided my winnings don’t play here waste of time and money

  8. Laurinda Marques May 23, 2020 at 10:06 pm

I just opened an account with El Royale and I’m very dissatisfied.
The live chat is horribly slow… they don’t read everything you ask… they keep you waiting for 30-1 hrs time . Every 20 mins they throw a generic message at you… they are truly a nightmare.. I sent in my documents for verification and they haven’t responded it’s been 6 days now… ugh… slow everywhere…. I wonder if they do pay out…. I regret depositing hundreds of dollars here.
The games are good… but they don’t pay.. all in all , they suck.
    I don’t recommend this casino to anyone…

  9. Eleanor Wharton May 19, 2020 at 9:06 pm

Not a good site takes and takes your money then wen U do win a poxy 1500 and try to withdraw they wait a week and then put 1000 back in to start the withdrawal process again it is currently week 3 today and they done it again put 500 back in my account to wait over another week . They say they can choose to split the payment for security purposes. And that’s all good and well if they were doing that but at the same time not wait weeks . I will never put more money in this casino and I’m stubborn as I’ll wait for the rest of the money I won’t play it back through

  10. Shawn swyers May 16, 2020 at 2:04 pm
