2021 Review of Red Dog Casino

You’re seconds away from reading our Red Dog Casino review.

Red Dog is a newer online casino that accepts American players. This excited us from the start, as there can never be too many US online casinos.

We dove right into researching and testing and, long story short, have concluded that, yes, Red Dog Casino is an online casino worth joining.

That’s the short version. You’ll want to read our full review of Red Dog Casino for the long version. We’ll tell you about their 200+ animated and live dealer casino games. You’ll learn about the unlimited bonuses that you can claim, and much more.

We’ll also share with you the things we don’t like about Red Dog Casino. We’re going to share both the good and the bad with you because it’s important to us that you have a good time gambling online.

We think the good far outweighs the bad. But you’ll have to decide that for yourself once you’ve read our Red Dog review below.

Red Dog Casino Basic Information

There isn’t much information about Red Dog Casino online. They don’t share much, and they haven’t been in business long enough for there to be much of a track record.

What we can tell you is that Red Dog launched their casino in 2019. They also have a few sister casinos that are new too, including El Royale, Aussie Play, and Slots Empire.

It sucks that there isn’t more info about Red Dog Casino online, but here’s the bright side—it means there isn’t any negative information about them either.

This tells us that Red Dog Casino has gotten off on the right foot.

  • Latvia

Reviewing the Red Dog Casino Games

One of the big positives of our Red Dog review is that they have more than 200 casino and live dealer games.

Their games come from two software providers. RealTime Gaming (RTG) provides their animated casino games. They’ve been supplying online casino games for more than two decades.

Visionary iGaming (ViG) supplies the live dealer games. ViG deals more than 30,000 real money players every month and takes in more than $2,358,405,000 in wagers every year.

The point is, you’re in good hands at Red Dog Casino.

What we want to do now is show you some of the casino games you can play at Red Dog, what we like and dislike about them, and more.

Table Games

We found 15 table games during our Red Dog Casino review.

  • Baccarat
  • Blackjack
  • Blackjack + Perfect Pairs
  • Caribbean Hold’em Poker
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • European Blackjack
  • Face Up 21
  • Let ‘Em Ride
  • Match Play 21
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Pontoon
  • Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack
  • Super 21
  • Tri-Card Poker
  • Vegas Three-Card Rummy

This is a smaller selection of table games compared to what some other US online casinos offer. But part of the reason why is because Red Dog puts the following games in a different (specialty) section.

  • American Roulette
  • Craps
  • European Roulette
  • Keno

That’s better. Overall, Red Dog has a solid variety of table games. We like that they have a few blackjack and roulette variants for enthusiasts.

But their table game selection isn’t made up of only duplicates or variants. They have several unique or one-off games you can play, such as Tri-Card Poker, Caribbean Stud Poker, Pai Gow Poker, and others.

These games are top-notch, too. We’ve played RealTime Gaming’s tables many times before, and they looked and operated as expected during our Red Dog review.

Our biggest complaint are the stakes. You can play for $1 to $250, which is average to slightly below average for this type of casino.

If $250 is too low for you, don’t worry just yet. There is still their live dealer casino, which we expect will have higher betting limits. We’ll see if that’s the case in a moment.

That’s really the only feedback we have for this section. We suppose they can add more games, such as Casino Hold’em, Sic Bo, or Casino War.

But that’s us being nitpicky. The table game selection is solid as is. And we think you’ll agree!

Video Poker

We counted 14 video poker machines during our review of Red Dog Casino.

  • Aces and Eights
  • All American Poker
  • Bonus Deuces Wild
  • Bonus Poker
  • Bonus Poker Deluxe
  • Deuces Wild
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Jackpot Poker
  • Double Jackpot Poker
  • Jacks or Better
  • Joker Poker
  • Loose Deuces
  • Sevens Wild

There are also three variants you can play, three-, ten-, and 52-hand multi-hand video poker.

We tested these games during our review. The first thing we noticed are their graphics. They look like the graphics you’d expect a game shipped with Windows 98 to have. But that’s how video poker machines in brick and mortar casinos look, so that must mean these are authentic.

What’s more important than aesthetics is how the video poker machines worked and, for us, they worked great. We’ve never had a problem with RTG’s video poker machines, and this visit was no different.

Their machines have a few features you might enjoy, too. For example, you can speed up the game, which will allow you to play more hands per hour. Or you can slow it down to preserve your bankroll.

Speaking of bankrolls, we also looked at the stakes you can play for. You can wager as little as $0.25 to as much as $5 per credit. We recommend you bet the max, which means you can bet as much as $25 per hand on the one-hand machines. You can wager as much as $1 per hand on the 52-hand machines.

These stakes are a little lower than machines we’ve seen on other US online casinos, but that’s the extent of any issues we spotted during our review, which is saying something.

Slots

We found more than 130 real money slot machines during our Red Dog review. Here are some of the slot machines you can look forward to playing here.

  • Super 6
  • The Big Bopper
  • Scuba Fishing
  • Sevens and Stripes
  • Witch’s Brew
  • Wild Wizards
  • Dream Run
  • Dragon Orb
  • Derby Dollars
  • Crazy Vegas
  • Coyote Cash
  • Count Spectacular
  • Cash Bandits 2
  • Caesar’s Empire
  • Builder Beaver
  • Aztec’s Millions
  • Asgard
  • Aladdin’s Wishes
  • Crystal Waters
  • And more!

Red Dog Casino has an awesome variety of slot machines here. Our reviewers are partial to some of the horror or roman times themes, but it doesn’t matter what themes you like, odds are you’ll find it here.

There are also many types of slot machines you can play here. For example, you can play three-, five-, and six-reel slots. You’ll also find slots with bonus rounds, floating symbols, free games, re-spins, and more.

What really stood out to us during our Red Dog online casino review are all the progressive slots that you can play.

For example, they have some slots with smaller jackpots ranging from $1,500 to $10,000. But they also have slots like Fantasy Mission Force which had a $20k jackpot. And then, there was Aztec’s Millions, which had a $3.8 million progressive jackpot.

Just imagine how your life would change if you won that jackpot.

And even if you didn’t win that jackpot, there are plenty of others that you can win instead. And regardless of whether you win any jackpot, we’re positive that you’ll at least have fun trying at Red Dog Casino.

Live Dealer Games

We counted 11 live dealer games during our Red Dog Casino review.

  • Baccarat
  • Super 6
  • European Roulette
  • Auto American Roulette
  • Auto European Roulette
  • American Roulette
  • Blackjack HD
  • Blackjack Early Payout

The other games that they have are duplicates with either different dealers, table limits, or variants, or a combination of those.

What we like about their live dealer games are the stakes you can play for. You can play for $1 to $1,000 on their Roulette tables and $5 to $2,500 for all their other table games.

These stakes are a little lower compared to what other live dealer casinos offer. But they’re more than what you can play Red Dog’s animated games for, which is a plus.

Something that stood out to us is that you won’t find a live dealer blackjack game for less than $10 per hand. This is on par with what we’re seeing as the norm in many brick and mortar casinos, so it’s not surprising.

But if we had to come up with a complaint, that’d be it. We’d like the option to play blackjack for $5 per hand. That’s all that we could come up with, though. There are many more upsides than downsides.

For example, their games worked great during our review. We had no issues with the streams, even though the screens were a little small. But you can easily make them bigger by closing the chat window.

There are several features that you can use to make the games more fun to play, too. You can automate your decisions, chat with your opponents, adjust the sound, turn the stream on/off, switch the camera angle, and more.

The bottom line is, we’re happy with the live dealer casino at Red Dog. In fact, we liked their entire casino. It’s hard to go wrong with 200+ high quality animated and live dealer casino games.

But don’t take our word for it. Create an account at Red Dog Casino now and check them out for yourself.

Banking Review of Red Dog Online Casino

Red Dog Casino accepts all your standard banking methods.

The best option for American players is Bitcoin. It has a wider range of deposit limits. It also only takes 15 minutes for your deposits to clear.

You can use Bitcoin for withdrawals, too. It’ll take between one to three days to hit your wallet, which is a tad longer than other US casinos. But it’s faster than credit cards and bank wires, which can take up to four to five business days to hit your account.

Regardless of the method you use, there are no withdrawal fees. That gets two thumbs up from us.

We do have some feedback for Red Dog Casino, though. We’d like to see higher deposit and withdrawal limits. This is especially true for Bitcoin, as it’s common to see five- and six-figure banking limits at other online casinos.

You can get higher limits at Red Dog, but you’ll have to work something out with them. And that requires more effort than we think you should have to put into it.

Overall, though, Red Dog Casino has done a good job with their cashier. You can see all the banking methods you can use and the limits for each one below.

Deposits

Method Min Max
Visa $30 $1,000
Mastercard $30 $1,000
American Express $30 $1,000
Bitcoin $20 $2,500
Gift Card $25 $500
Neosurf $10 $250

Withdrawals

Method Min Max
Credit Card $150 $2,500
Bank Wire $150 $2,500
Bitcoin $150 $2,500

Red Dog’s Bonus Promotions

Red Dog Casino is running several promotions. They don’t list them all on their website, so the only way to learn about their offers is to either create an account yourself or read this review.

You’re here now, so let’s talk about them.

What immediately stood out to us about their offers is that most of them are welcome bonuses. You can choose which offer you want to claim. And you can claim several of their offers more than once.

What we’re going to do now is go through each of their evergreen promotions so that you can see what your options are and the terms and conditions you’ll have to fulfill for each one.

That way, if you decide to join Red Dog Casino today, you’ll have an idea of which offer you want to claim and what you’ll need to do to earn it.

225% Slots Bonus

This is the main “welcome bonus” that Red Dog promotes.

Make your first deposit and you’ll get a 225% match bonus that you can use to play slots. This has a 35x playthrough on the deposit and bonus.

100% Card Bonus

This is a 100% deposit bonus that you can use on card games.

You can use this offer on your first five deposits. It has a 40x playthrough on the deposit and bonus, which is very reasonable.

175 Spins on Fu Chi

Make a deposit of $10 to $30 and get 75 spins for the Fu Chi slot machine.

Deposit $200 or more and you’ll get an extra 100 spins (175 spins total).

You can claim this offer on each of your first five deposits. This offer has a 20x playthrough and 30x max cash-out on your winnings.

150 Spins on Purrfect Pets

Deposit $10 to $30 and you’ll get 100 free spins to use on the Purrfect Pets slot machine. Deposit $100 or more and you’ll get an extra 50 spins.

This offer has a 20x playthrough on your winnings and a 30x cap on withdrawals. You can claim this offer on each of your first five deposits.

200% + 30 Spins on Coyote Cash

Make a deposit of $10 to $30 or more and get a 200% match bonus. This means you’ll get $2 for every $1 you deposit. You’ll also get 30 free spins for the Coyote Cash slot machine.

You can claim this offer on each of your first five deposits. The playthrough is 35x the deposit and bonus. The max cash-out is 30x.

Comp Points

This is the only evergreen offer we spotted for existing customers.

You’ll earn points for every real money bet you make. You can exchange these points for cashback at the rate of $1 for every 100 points you accrue.

There isn’t a playthrough requirement on cashback which is awesome to see. The money you earn is yours to do with as you please. And that wraps up their offers.

It’s worth noting that their match bonuses do not have posted maximums. We emailed them about it but haven’t heard back from them yet.

We did notice that some of their offers say that there is no “redemption limit,” which means you can claim as much as you want.

This isn’t something you see very often. It gives you a reason to check Red Dog Casino out over many other US online casinos.

Just keep in mind that the more you deposit, the larger your playthrough will be and the longer it will take before you can cash out your winnings.

But it’s up to you, which is what you should take away from this part of our Red Dog Casino review.

Mobile Friendliness

The Red Dog Casino mobile app is available through your mobile web browser, like Google Chrome or Safari. You don’t have to download a native app or any software.

This is awesome because it means their casino is compatible with more mobile devices. That includes iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows.

We did a rough count, and it looks like you can play all their slots on your mobile device. All their video poker machines are available too, though it looks like you can only play the single hand variant.

But you can’t play all their table games. Here are all the games we found on the Red Dog Casino mobile app.

  • Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack
  • Blackjack
  • Tri-Card Poker
  • European Roulette
  • Keno

It’s odd to see a mobile casino offer more video poker games than table games. It’s usually the other way around.

You can probably guess what our feedback is! We’d like to see Red Dog Casino add more mobile table casino games. Other than that, though, they’ve done a solid job with their mobile casino.

Customer Support at Red Dog

Here is how you can contact the customer support at Red Dog Casino.

It’s awesome to see that they offer phone support, especially since they’re a newer US online casino.

We didn’t test their phone support this time. We sent them an email to ask them about their bonus limits and, unfortunately, haven’t heard back from them yet.

Online casinos should respond to emails in 24 hours or less. Maybe 48 hours if you emailed them over the weekend. So, we’d like to see them correct this ASAP.

The good news is that they do have a FAQ page where they answer the most common questions that online casinos get. We recommend you start there if you have a question about your account, making a deposit, etc.

Concluding Our Red Dog Casino Review

We’re nearing the end of our Red Dog Casino review, yet one question remains.

Should you play at Red Dog Casino in 2021?

We think so. They look like a solid online casino to us.

  • Red Dog Casino accepts Americans.
  • You can use banking options such as credit cards, bank wires, and, our favorite, Bitcoin.
  • Red Dog has more than 200 casino games. You can play a variety of table games, slots, video poker machines, and live dealer games
  • You can contact Red Dog by telephone.
  • You can play most of their casino games on your phone or tablet.

And if you create an account today, you can claim one of several welcome offers. We recommend claiming either their 100% card bonus or their 225% slots bonus because they’ll give you the most bang for your buck and there is no (posted) limit on how much you can earn.

But there’s no telling how long these offers will last. Red Dog Casino will retire these offers and replace them with something else. Online casinos always do. It’s just a matter of when.

So, if you want to claim one of the offers above and earn them playing the games we talked about in our review of Red Dog Casino review, don’t wait! Head over to this online casino now and create your account.
