The first thing that struck me when I started my research for this review of Hell Spin Casino was the fact that the site’s inventory of games is gobsmackingly huge. How huge?

Try 4,500 games. If that’s hard to imagine, think of it this way: if you built a real-world casino with a gaming floor big enough to contain just one of each of the slot machines, video poker, and table games Hell Spin has waiting for you, you’d have a casino more than three times the size of the legendary Four Queens(1) casino in downtown Las Vegas. Gob status: smacked.

The gaming operation behind Hell Spin is TechOptions Group, B.V., which launched Hell Spin Casino and the Ivibet sportsbook in 2022. TechOptions is headquartered in Curaçao, where it oversees the operation of both sites.

Like its sportsbook sibling, Hell Spin Casino is registered and licensed in Curaçao, and serves as an Australia and Canada-facing online casino that specializes in video gambling like poker, blackjack, and roulette, as well as slot machines of all types.

Let’s take a close look at the types of slots and prizes you’ll find at Hell Spin Casino:

Pros
  • Huge inventory of slots and table games
  • Bonus up to $5,200 + 150 FS
  • Extensive variety of live dealer table games
Cons
  • Mobile game inventory not as extensive as PC site
  • Online customer service interface is slow and unhelpful
Bonuses

Hell Spin Bonuses and Promotions

Hell Spin may be young, but they weren’t born yesterday. Their welcome bonus is generous as can be. You can claim up to $5,200 in bonus money and 150 free spins. All deposit bonuses have a 40x playthrough, which is pretty standard, but be sure to check the “Bonuses – General Terms” page for the surprisingly long list of slots and other games that are excluded from earning out that bonus.

If you’ve already used up those welcome bonuses, you can also take advantage of regular reload bonuses, like the Wednesday 50% bonus up to $600 that comes with 100 free spins.

Banking

Banking at Hell Spin Casino

Banking is often the fly in the ointment as far as online gambling sites are concerned. This is because many have cumbersome withdrawal rules and/or high minimum deposit requirements. Hell Spin, however, asks a minimum deposit of $15 (Australian or Canadian dollars), with a maximum allowable deposit tied to your deposit method.

A quick look at the Terms & Conditions surrounding bonuses alerted me to the fact that Hell Spin requires a slightly higher minimum deposit to qualify for bonuses: EUR 20, USD 20, AUD 25.

Maximum deposits vary according to your chosen method. For instance, while a deposit using a credit card like Visa or Mastercard is limited to $2,400, you can deposit up to $24,000 using one of the cryptocurrency deposit options. E-Wallets offer the broadest range of deposits with a minimum of $15, and a maximum of $150,000.

Hell Spin has made sure the process of banking is easy to understand, and very intuitive, as well. All the payment methods are grouped in kind, i.e., all credit cards in one group, all cryptocurrencies in another—and there are plenty of choices here.

As far as withdrawals are concerned, depending on the method, it can take from 24 hours to seven days to complete a withdrawal.

The Hell Spin Sign Up Process

Get Started at Hell Spin
Create Your Account

Getting set up with an account at Hell Spin is simplicity itself. Your first step is to just click the “Sign Up” button in the upper right-hand corner of your screen (PC) or the “Register Now” button on your phone.

You’ll be presented with a series of screens into which you’ll need to enter the same information you would if you were opening an account at a department store. Name, address, as well as the country you’re signing up from, your preferred currency (CD, AUD, etc.), and your phone number, including country code.

Once you’ve filled in all the required info, you’ll come to a window asking you to confirm that you are over 18 years old and that you’ve read and accepted Hell Spin’s Privacy Policy as well as its Terms & Conditions and privacy policy. Click the “Finish” button to move on.

Hell Spin Sign Up Step 1
Claim Your Bonus

If you’re presented with a pop-up offering the choices of Deposit and Withdrawal, click Deposit, and you’ll be taken to the cashier’s screen. In the upper lefthand corner is an activation slider switch below which should be a display of your welcome bonus. The slider switch should already be activated.

Now, on that same screen, select your method of payment from the buttons in the lower portion of this window. There should be a set of “recommended” methods displayed. You can review all the methods by clicking the filter buttons “credit card”, “e-wallet”, “cryptocurrency”, and “bank transfer.” Once you’ve decided on your deposit method, click on that button to move to the Cashier screen.

Hell Spin Sign Up Step 2
Make a Deposit

This Deposit screen is specific to your choice of deposit method. There should be a series of buttons for set amounts of deposit (in your preferred currency), but there’s also a text box below those where you can enter a specific amount of your choosing. Once you’ve entered the amount of your initial deposit, you’re ready for step four.

Hell Spin Sign Up Step 3
Start Playing

Tae a moment to make sure your deposit information is correct, then click the “Deposit” button. This should take you to a confirmation window and then out to the Hell Spin lobby. You now have money in your account at Hell Spin and are ready to make your first real money wager at Hell Spin Casino!

Hell Spin Casino Review

As its name suggests, the governing motif throughout Hell Spin Casino is devilish with a dash of clever and amusing. When I visited Hell Spin, the page displaying all the available bonuses was “Warming Offers.” The list of the most recent big winners is called the “Hall of Flame.” Their daily slot tournament is called “Highway to Hell.” You get the idea.

Besides the big inventory of slots, Hell Spin Casino features video poker and video bingo. They have a full gamut of live dealer games including blackjack, baccarat, roulette, Sic Bo, even Snakes & Ladders, and television inspired games like Deal or No Deal and Wheel of Fortune.

Every page has a game search bar at the top, and it’s a fast and useful tool to find any game you are familiar with. There’s also a search bar that appears on specific game-type pages, which allows you to drill-down through that particular subset of games, such as blackjack slots, etc.

Any game you can play at Hell Spin can be marked as a “Favorite” for later play—and the slots offer the choice of playing for real money or test driving the game as a free demo. One more bonus: Hellspin allows you to sort slots by the providers, such as BetSoft, Pragmatic Play, or Yggdrasil—great tool if you happen to be a real fan of any particular game developer.

I know, it’s a real job to winnow through 4,500 games to find the ones you like the best. To get you started, here’s the shortlist of games I play when I’m on Hell Spin:

Slots

You’ll find every type of slot game imaginable at Hell Spin, thanks to the 60+ game developers they’ve brought in to provide their inventory of slots. This is a gambling site that has well-known industry celebrities like BetSoft, Habanero Systems, and Amatic Industries rubbing shoulders with next-new-thing innovators like Gamzix and Spribe. Hell Spin should be on every slot player’s short list of must-visit gambling destinations.

Speaking of which, while there are plenty of slots to try at Hell Spin, let me point out a few of my own favorites:

  • Gold Rush with Johnny Cash: this hold & spin slot from BGaming features a mustachioed cactus holding a pick in one, um, hand and a gold nugget in the other. Like all hold & spin slots, the goal his to get enough gold nuggets during a regular spin to trigger the free spins. With an RTP of 96.08%, While the game is said to have a high volatility (bigger but fewer wins), I wasn’t disappointed with the action. There’s also a Mega Jackpot of 5000x your wager that just takes a screenful of gold nuggets to win.
  • 500 Juicy Fruits: I’m not a big fan of retro slots, but this 5-reeler fruit slot from Belatra Games lets you select wagers between 10 and 500 pay lines and between three and five rows—and surprisingly, that was enough to keep me playing. The game is a medium velocity slot with an RTP of 95.71%. The snazzy Twenties style background music is catchy, too.
  • Book of Hellspin: I’ll admit it. I had to check this game out just because it was named after the casino. Turns out the 5×3 slot is from Spinomenal and is actually a rebranding of the developer’s Book of Horror. This version features the same creepy soundtrack but replaces the top-paying symbol (a bride of Frankenstein-looking lady) with a Hellspin placard. The wild scatter is a tome with a single huge eye embedded in the cover, glancing this way and that. No specs available yet, but from my own play, I’d say the RTP is in the mid-90s and the volatility is medium high.

Table Games

On the PC, you’ll find at least two dozen variations of blackjack, from one-hand single deck blackjack to blackjack cashback and Rainbow Blackjack, but there are fewer versions available on the mobile side. That doesn’t mean you won’t find plenty of blackjack variants to play on your mobile platform—just not quite as many as on the PC.

And you may find the blackjack and other table games available on the PC are not easy to read. I have a huge monitor and still couldn’t make out the writing on the buttons while trying out Rainbow Blackjack.

Unfortunately, rainbow blackjack isn’t available on the mobile platform, but a good number of tame blackjack games (including Pirate 21 and Pontoon) are. Some are best played landscape (horizontal screen) rather than portrait (vertical screen) but in both cases, are legible enough.

Hell Spin Table Games

You’ll also find plenty of baccarat and table poker games like Texas Hold’em Bonus at Hell Spin. Just remember that the search engine is not particularly robust at Hell Spin, so a search for “blackjack” won’t return a link to Pirate 21 (or Pontoon, for that matter). Ah well, we’re all search engine wizards these days, right?

Interesting, the same can’t be said for all of the “Caribbean” poker games. Searching for poker will turn up several screens full of poker casino games, including Caribbean Poker. But if you want to find Caribbean Stud, you’ll need to use the search term “stud”, which will return three different versions of Caribbean Stud.

Video Poker

As you might imagine, Hell Spin has a well-stocked inventory of video poker and all its forms and variations.

  • Jacks or Better
  • Bonus Poker
  • Bonus Poker Deluxe
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Oasis Poker Pro
  • Aces and Eights
  • All American Poker
  • Bonus Deuces Wild
  • Joker Poker
  • Deuces Wild
  • Aces and Faces
  • Double Aces and Faces
  • Faces and Deuces
  • Five Aces

Not only is Hell Spin’s inventory of video poker extensive, but it combines the efforts of eight different developers for a truly connoisseur’s sampling of video poker. Don’t care for the RedRake Aces & Eights? Perhaps madam would prefer zee genii Aces & Faces Poker.

Find variations of your favorite video poker (along with varying pay tables) from these developers:

  • RedRake
  • Fugaso
  • Microgaming
  • Evoplay
  • Habanero
  • GameArt
  • Play ‘n Go
  • genii

Live Casino

As with slots, digital table games, and video poker, you’ll find an embarrassment of riches as far as live dealer games are concerned. Here’s a sample of the games you can play at Hell Spin’s live dealer tables:

  • Sic Bo (11 versions)
  • Dream Catcher
  • Three-Card Poker
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker
  • Boom City
  • Baccarat (180+ versions)
  • Monopoly Live
  • Deal or No Deal
  • Blackjack (300+ versions)
  • Keno
  • Roulette (90 + versions)
  • Lucky 7
  • Lucky 6
  • Lucky 5
  • Andar Bahar (12 versions)

With roughly 500 live dealers awaiting you at Hell Spin Casino, it’s going to be easy to find tables dealing exactly the game you want. Since Hell Spin partners with more than one live dealer streaming studio, you’ll find plenty of variation in both game play and selection of dealers. For example, SA Gaming provides a number of baccarat tables, evenly divided into Diamond Hall, where all the dealers are wearing formal wear, and Sexy Hall (where the all female dealers are clad in identical bikinis). SA Gaming may offer a similar “Chippindale’s” version, but I didn’t see one.

If you prefer your live dealer table games more traditional, you’ll find a large selection of Lucky Strike games at Hell Spin. If you’ve played at a Fresh Deck live dealer table, you’ll be instantly familiar with game play, since Lucky Strike provides live dealer games to Fresh Deck Studios.

All the games I tried loaded quickly on both the PC and the mobile platform (I use an Android), and played decently, as well. One caveat: There is no free or demo play at Hell Spin’s live dealer, so many tables will be unavailable to you, even to see the dealer and basic table layout.

Hell Spin Casino Tournaments

Tournaments at online casinos aren’t as prevalent as you might think, but Hell Spin runs a daily slot tournament called Highway to Hell that offers some profitable prizes for those successful in their play. The prize pool is 2023 euros plus 2023 free spins, with the first place award being 400 euros.

If live play is more your cup of vegemite, you can try the three-day Lady In Red tourney, which awards leaderboard points equal to the euros you wager at live games. The tournament awards prizes from a pool of 1,000 euros to the top 25 finishers on the leaderboard.

Hell Spin Tournaments

It costs nothing to enter either the Highway to Hell or the Lady in Red tournaments. Once you’ve made a deposit, be sure to sign-up with either or both competitions, it will improve your chances of building on your bankroll.

Other tourneys Hell Spin has run—and may run in the future—are “Frozen Flames”, which features a 100,000 euro prize pool augmented with 100,000 free spins, and “Big Race”, the prize pool of which is 10,000 euros.

Mobile Gambling

Mobile Gambling at Hell Spin Casino

You’ll find many of the same slots and live dealer games available on your mobile platform. While I haven’t counted all the variations on live blackjack or live roulette, my Android device tells me that Hell Spin has six versions of andar bahar (vs. the PC count of 12).

That’s still plenty of live andar bahar in my books. There’s also a hidden benefit here in that it isn’t necessary to download a specific gambling app to play any of the hundreds of mobile games. Some games are actually easier to read on the mobile platform. One game I played on both platforms was lucky lucky blackjack. On the PC version, this game displays clearly and legibly, but my desktop screen is 21 inches, so that’s unsurprising. My Android’s screen is much smaller (6.5 inches), and yet the game was just as crisp and clear on that platform. Seems counter-intuitive, but there you are.

Customer Support

Customer Support at Hell Spin

Live Chat is the Achilles’ heel of virtually all online casinos. Perhaps a day will come when ChatGPT will rescue them from the “all your base are belong to us” quality of discourse most casinos offer as live chat support—but that day is not today. A simple request to discover how many slots Hell Spin slots were available on both PC and mobile platforms. Here’s the exchange:

Don’t think too poorly of Hell Spin. At least, not on account of its (sadly) industry-standard live chat. More concerning is the lack of a telephone number even for banking questions. The site does, however, offer two separate email addresses—one for customer support and one for complaints.

Now, it’s no surprise that other Hell Spin Casino reviews either ignore it or actually claim that Hell Spin DOES have phone support. It does not.

I know this because Hell Spin’s email support does work, better than advertised, in fact. I sent an email asking them if they had a phone number for customer support, and they responded within two hours. They did not have phone support, I was told, and all support questions were handled via live chat or email. Not optimal, but serviceable.

  • Telephone: Not Available
  • Live Chat: Available 24/7
  • Customer Support Email: support@hellspin.com – Response within 24 hours
  • Complaint Email: complaints@hellspin.com – Response within 24 hours
Comparison

Competition Comparison

Many gambling sites try to be all things to all gamblers, offering a dazzling and often confusing array of choices, from slots and live dealer games, to poker, sports and racing books. There are a few—like Hell Spin Casino—that instead offer one or two well-considered categories of gambling options, usually slots and live dealer games.

Ducky Luck Casino is a good example. It offers far fewer games than Hell Spin, but its inventory of 500 slots features great games from Dragon Gaming, Rival Gaming, and  Arrow’s Edge. It also features live dealer table games.

Lupin Casino also focuses on slots, video poker, and live dealer games. Lupin is a Realtime Gaming site, meaning the vast majority of the games it offers are from the RTG inventory. Great if you’re an RTG fan; not quite so alluring if you are not. The live dealer games are provided by Visionary iGaming.

BC.Game has a broader scope. Not only does it offer 7,000+ slots from industry leaders like NetEnt, Rival Gaming, and Pragmatic Play (along with some original games of its own), but it also hosts dozens of live dealer games. And then, there’s its full service sports and race books. A good choice for someone who likes the depth of Hell Spin’s slot inventory but wants to try different games, with maybe a bit of sports betting on the side.

Conclusion

Our Hell Spin Casino Review Score: 4.0

I gave Hell Spin Casino a 4.0 on our B.E.S.T. Rating System, putting it in the top ranks of online casinos. On the whole, Hell Spin is a very well-designed and professionally operated online casino.

Here are some of the reasons I rated Hell Spin so highly:

  • Hell Spin Casino’s wealth of games (whether they be slots, video games, or live dealer tables) is superlative. From a cornucopia of hold & spin slots to multiple variations of live dealer table games, Hell Spin delivers great gambling action.
  • The easy access to the site’s wide range of banking options. Hell Spin goes that extra mile in providing plenty of methods for both deposits and withdrawals—and does not charge fees on either.
  • Two generous welcome bonuses that can add up to 1200 dollars (Canadian/Australian) in bonus money for your gambling enjoyment.

I also like the fact that TechOptions didn’t try to make Hell Spin a junk drawer of gambling choices, deciding instead to dedicate it to slots and live dealer table games. If a sportsbook is more to your liking, then there’s always Hell Spin’s sibling, Ivibet.

Incidentally, Hell Spin is available to Australia as well as Canada, but there are other worthy casinos serving one or the other of those two nations. Be sure to check out our list of the best Australian online casinos if you’re Down Under. Or, if the Frozen North is your home, take a look at the top Canadian online casinos.
