A Detailed Review of BetVictor in 2024

It’s tough to find great all-in-one gambling sites.

All-in-one (AIO) gambling sites are sites that offer several gambling products under one roof. AIO sites usually offer sports betting, casino games, and poker at the very least. Some offer bingo, too.

It’s tough to do every product justice. Most gambling sites don’t. They excel in one or two areas and drop the ball in the rest.

BetVictor is one company that tried to pull the AIO site off. For a while, they offered sports betting, an online casino, and poker.

Then, in 2017, they decided to get rid of their poker room. Sources say that BetVictor simply decided that online poker wasn’t worthwhile for them. Since they were on the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN), we can see how they came to that conclusion.

That’s all right. BetVictor got rid of the dead weight, and they’re better for it. Instead of being an average AIO gambling site, they’re now a high-quality sportsbook and casino.

The following is our review of BetVictor and everything they have to offer punters and casino players. They’re not perfect. No gambling site is. But what they do, they do well.

Let’s get into it.

BetVictor Basic Information

BetVictor isn’t like most of the gambling sites we review here. For example, one thing that makes them stand out is the fact that they didn’t get their start online.

No, they got their start offline.

William Chandler started Victor Chandler International Limited in 1931. The company rebranded to BetVictor Ltd when he passed in 1946. Then they changed their name to VC in 2004, Victor Chandler in 2008, and then BetVictor (again) in 2012.

The company is now owned by Michael Tabor. He’s a successful businessman and one-time BetVictor major shareholder.

It appears that Tabor’s business acumen is rubbing off on the company. They claim to turn over more than £1 billion in revenue from their 500,000+ customers.

Well done, BetVictor. Well done indeed.

Licensing and Regulation

BetVictor is registered in Gibraltar. In 1974, Victor Jr. moved the company here to avoid paying UK gambling taxes.

They have licenses and are regulated in a few jurisdictions. Those jurisdictions include the Gambling Commission of Great Britain, Ireland (Revenue Commissioners), and the Government of Gibraltar.

We didn’t find this information on their website. Most sites post this information in their terms. BetVictor doesn’t, and that sucks. They do cover other important details in their terms, though. You still should read them.

However, if you have any questions about whether you can play at BetVictor, your best bet is to reach out to their support.

The Casino

BetVictor says they have more than 700-900 casino games (depending on where you look). That’s not farfetched since they work with a large variety of software providers. Here are the software companies they work with:

  • Microgaming
  • NetEnt
  • Evolution Gaming
  • IGT (WagerWorks)
  • OpenBet
  • Ho Gaming
  • Realistic Games
  • Blueprint Gaming
  • Amaya (Chartwell)
  • Quickspin
  • Thunderkick
  • Foxium
  • Fuga Gaming

The result of working with all these top-notch software providers is a large variety of games for you to play. BetVictor covers all the bases. You’ll get to choose from a large library of online slots, table games, video poker, live dealer games, and scratch/arcade games.

What stood out most to us is that it doesn’t look like they rest on their laurels. They have a new section where you can see all the games they added to their lineup. Each post is timestamped, too. That way, you know the games they’re adding are actually new.

That said, there are a few things BetVictor can do to improve their casino. We talk about what these things are in the following sections.

We were happy with what we found overall, though. Keep reading to find out why.

Table Games

BetVictor’s table game selection isn’t impressive at first glance. They don’t have nearly the quantity or variety of games that you can find elsewhere.

We’ll explain why that is in just a minute. First, here are the games we found during our review.

  • European Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • American Roulette
  • Hi Lo Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Perfect Pairs Blackjack
  • Mini Baccarat
  • Blackjack
  • 3 Wheel Roulette
  • 20p Roulette
  • Auto Roulette

You see what we mean? It’s not a very large selection. We have a couple guesses as to why this is.

Many software providers are unable to offer their games in specific regions. One example that comes to mind is NetEnt. They don’t offer their games to Canadians.

What happens then is that the gambling site will either not show those games, or they will give you a warning that says they’re unavailable to players in your area.

We checked their table game selection from 3 countries – the United Kingdom, Canada, and Germany. We cleared our cookies before checking them from Germany, too, just to be on the safe side.

In all cases, we had the same number of games and the same variants to choose from. We also received a warning that we couldn’t play one of their roulette games. This leads us to believe that perhaps their selection is simply weak instead of it (only) depending on the user’s location.

On the plus side, the games are well done. We played a few hands of blackjack. The graphics were top-notch, and the controls were easy to use. The roulette game was the same way, though the graphics for it were more video game-like instead of realistic.

There’s nothing wrong with that, though.

As for table limits, this varies from game to game. We couldn’t find the limits for every table game, either.

We did find that one of their roulette games had a £500 straight-up max. One of their blackjack games had a £500-£2,500 max depending on which variant you played. This isn’t bad at all, and there’s a chance you’ll find higher limits than those.

Overall, BetVictor has done an okay job with their table game selection. We’d like to see more games and variety. That’d take this section to the next level.

On the bright side, if you’re okay with live dealer games, you’ll find a few games in that section that we didn’t find here. We’ll talk more about those in just a few minutes.

Video Poker

Here are the video poker games you’ll find at BetVictor.

  • Challenge Poker
  • Joker Wild
  • Jackpot Poker
  • 5 Play Draw Poker
  • All American
  • Jacks or Better
  • Deuces Wild

This, too, is a smaller selection of variants than what we were expecting. Considering all the software developers they work with, there’s no reason to have any fewer than 10 video poker titles.

We looked at this section from the same 3 countries but didn’t find any different or additional options. So, that’s not an excuse.

We thought that maybe the 5 Play Draw Poker machine might have several games to choose from within its menu. That’s been the case at other gambling sites. However, we have no idea if that’s the case here since we were told we couldn’t play their game from the locations we reviewed them from.

That’s the biggest disappointment here. On the bright side, the games we checked out looked and worked great.

The All American machine we played has modern graphics and intuitive controls. You could play for as little as £0.10 to as much as £50 per round. If you played 25 hands (the max for this machine), you could bet as much as £0.50 per hand for a total of £12.50 per round.

This machine had a neat option, too, where you could either keep your winnings or gamble them. Choose to gamble them, and you’ll play a game where you pick whether a card (that’s face down) is red or black. Get it right, and you’ll double your winnings.

All things considered, it’d be nice to see a few more options here. They do have more variants than their table game section, though, so we can’t complain too much.

Slots

Here’s a small sample of all the slots you’ll find at BetVictor.

  • Bork the Berzerker
  • 3 Genie Wishes
  • Sugar Candy
  • Caishen’s Gold
  • Diamond Strike
  • Celtic Spirit
  • Hugo Goal
  • Wolf Gold
  • Great Rhino
  • Bonanza
  • ted
  • Twin Spin
  • Inspector Gadget
  • Fat Rabbit
  • Angel Princess
  • Einstein Eureka Moments
  • Volcano Riches
  • Tiki Tumble
  • Beetle Mania Deluxe
  • Dream Date
  • Diamond Mine Megaways
  • Fruit Spin
  • The Phantom’s Curse
  • Jewels of the Dead
  • Romeo & Juliet
  • Temple of Tut
  • Twice the Money
  • The Wizard of Oz Emerald City
  • The Wild Chase
  • Playboy Gold
  • Pick a Fortune
  • Safari Spirit
  • Zeus 1000
  • El Jackpotto
  • Monopoly: On the Money
  • Gemix
  • King Tusk
  • Snow Leopard
  • Finn and the Swirly Spin
  • Pay of the Dead

This barely scrapes the surface. The quantity and variety of options that you’ll find here is the polar opposite of what you’ll find in their table game and video poker sections.

The slots that stood out the most to us are their licensed titles. These are the machines that software providers have to get permission for, as they revolve around intellectual property that other companies own.

We say this a lot in our reviews, but we can’t help ourselves. It’s just so much fun to play slot machines based on your favorite movies, video games, or TV shows.

A few examples of licensed machines from the list above include Playboy, The Wizard of Oz, and Monopoly. We’ve played variants of the latter two games in Las Vegas. Both were tons of fun. Though, no doubt part of the fun was the money we won playing them.

If licensed slots aren’t your bag, that’s okay, too – there are loads of other slots to choose from. BetVictor has it all. You can choose from progressives, 3-reel, and 5-reel classics and video slots. You can play slots with wilds, free spins, and bonus rounds. They have slots revolving around all sorts of themes, too.

Our point is this – you’re not going to have a problem finding something to play. If anything, you’re going to have a problem deciding what to play first.

We couldn’t check every slot machine – obviously – since there are so many of them. We did check the Jewels of the Dead machine, though, and found that you can bet as little as £0.20 to £25.00 per line. That means you can bet as much as £500 per round.

That’s not bad. Not bad at all.

Live Dealer Games

BetVictor offers a live dealer casino, too. Here are the games you can choose from.

  • Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Baccarat
  • Lightning Roulette
  • Speed Roulette
  • Auto Roulette
  • No Commission Baccarat
  • Three Card Poker
  • Caribbean Stud
  • Money Wheel
  • Ultimate Texas Hold’em
  • London Roulette
  • Immersive Roulette
  • French Roulette Gold

Make sure you click on one of the games from the first lobby. That will take you to the main lobby, where you can see all the games, variants, available tables, stakes, and more.

This is an excellent selection of live games. Considering how low the minimum limits are (£0.20+), this selection does help make up for BetVictor’s weaknesses in their table game section.

As for stakes, you can play for as little as £0.20 on their roulette games and £0.50 on their table games. Their max stakes vary so much. They range from £50 to £500 to as much as £10,000. It just depends on the game you play.

Their live dealer games come from Evolution Gaming, so you know they’re top-notch. When we checked them out, their stream looked great – it didn’t lag or time out.

There are plenty of features, too. For example, you can chat with the dealer, adjust the sound, bet behind other players, adjust the camera angle (game depending), and loads more.

Ultimately, live dealer players will be happy here. Players who prefer animated games will find additional options in this section if the table section doesn’t do it for them. BetVictor did a great job here.

It definitely leaves things on a positive note and boosts our overall grade for their casino.

The Sportsbook

Let’s talk about BetVictor’s sportsbook next. Here are all the sports you’ll find action on here.

  • American Football
  • Australian Rules
  • Badminton
  • Baseball
  • Basketball
  • Boxing
  • Cricket
  • Darts
  • Entertainment
  • Football
  • Formula 1
  • Futsal
  • Gaelic Football
  • Golf
  • Greyhounds
  • Handball
  • Horse Racing
  • Hurling
  • Ice Hockey
  • MMA/UFC
  • Motor Racing
  • Motorcycling
  • Netball
  • Politics
  • Rugby League
  • Rugby Union
  • Snooker
  • Speedway
  • Tennis
  • Virtual Sports
  • Volleyball
  • Water Polo

That’s more than 30 sports for you to bet on. There are lots of different bets you can make, too. Here are a few examples:

  • Price It Up
  • Accept Higher Odds
  • Accumulator/Fold Bet
  • Ante-Post Prices
  • 1 X 2 Bet
  • Combination Forecast
  • Correct Score Bet
  • Each Way Bet
  • Exacta/Perfecta Bet
  • First Goal Scorer
  • First Try Scorer
  • Half Time Result – 45 Minutes Bet
  • Half Time/Full Time Bet
  • Match Spread Betting
  • Minute to Win It Bet
  • Moneyline Bet
  • Multiple Bets
  • Over/Under Betting

BetVictor covers current events, too. For example, during our visit in the beginning of the summer, BetVictor had links to their World Cup action prominently displayed in their left sidebar. A few markets you could bet include outrights, matches, and top goalscorer.

Speaking of football, the website Oddschecker.com confirmed in 2015 that BetVictor offered the best odds on European league football matches the most often. This was the 5th straight year BetVictor.com had the best odds.

Soccer bettors should strongly consider opening an account here.

Live Betting and Other Options

BetVictor offers live betting. They were covering lots of sports/events during our visit. They offered live action on football (soccer), baseball, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, volleyball, and badminton.

Unfortunately, they don’t offer live streams for any of these. However, they do offer live streams for their horse- and dog-racing markets. Some sources say you need to bet at least £1 to on the races to watch them. That wasn’t our experience, though. When we reviewed them, we hadn’t yet made a deposit, yet we were able to watch a live stream.

Your mileage may vary.

As for options, you can view and bet in several different formats. That includes US odds, fractions, decimal, Indo, and Chinese.

They also have a “Cash Out” option that you can use to settle your bets before an event is finished. This gives you the opportunity to lock in a profit or minimize your losses. This feature isn’t available to live bettors, though.

Overall, we’re impressed with their sportsbook. There are a few things we’d like to see added, such as action on esports or more entertainment markets. No one’s perfect, though, and these are minor complaints in the grand scheme of things.

Banking Options

Let’s talk about banking options next.

We reviewed BetVictor primarily from the United Kingdom. From there, they accepted more than 10 payment methods. That’s more than enough. Plenty.

Bitcoin was one of those options, too, which was great to see.

Their minimum deposit limit is £5-£10 depending on the method you use. The max varies from method to method, but for credit cards, it’s £30,000, and £50,000 with Skrill. Most people should be okay with these limits.

Their cash-out limits are nearly the same. It’s a little less for options like Skrill (£32,500 instead of £50,000), but they’re still reasonable limits all things considered. The max you can cash out at one time according to their support is £50,000.

Progressive wins are paid in full to your account, too, which is a win. From there, you can cash it out as fast as your banking method (and BetVictor’s £50,000 limit) will let you.

Overall, BetVictor has done a solid job. The reports we’ve seen indicate that payments are fast, too. We’ve got nothing to complain about here.

The following two sections will show you the options you can use to fund and cash out your account.

  • Mastercard
  • Maestro
  • Visa
  • PayPal
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • Skrill 1-Tap

  • Bitcoin

Bonus Promotions

One thing that surprised us is how few promotions BetVictor had running. They only have a couple of offers for both their casino and sportsbook.

However, they do have one neat offer they call The Million Pound Bet. We’ll get to that in just a second. Let’s go over their core offers first.

Casino Offers

Here are the two casino offers you can claim at BetVictor.

  • Welcome Offer – Claim this offer, make a deposit, and then wager £10 on their casino games. Do that, and BetVictor will issue a bonus to your account. Here’s what you’ll get:
  • £20 slot bonus
  • £10 table game bonus
  • £10 live casino bonus
  • £10 instant win bonus

This is a neat offer because you can taste a little bit of everything in their casino, like a buffet. There are a couple of things you’ll want to keep in mind, though.

Once you create your account, you’ll have 7 days to claim this offer. You’ll also need to wager each offer 35x-60x, depending on the bonus, before you can cash out your winnings. You’ll have 3 days to do it, too.

  • Game of the Week – Claim this offer and play their game of the week. Every £10 you wager will get you an entry into their prize drawing, where you can earn a piece (£25-£1,000) of the £5,000 cash prize. There are no limits to the number of entries you can earn.

Sports Offers

  • Run for Your Money – Place a bet on a horse race. If your horse doesn’t run, you’ll receive your money back. This includes horses that refuse to run or whip around at the start.

This is a unique offer that we haven’t seen elsewhere.

  • Acca Insurance – Place a 5+ fold football. If one leg loses, you’ll get your money back. To qualify, the combined odds must be 4/1 (5.0) or greater. There are no wager requirements on this offer. You’ll want to read their terms for all the qualifying leagues and tournaments you can bet on.

Mobile Friendliness

BetVictor Screenshot from iPhoneBetVictor offers a mobile-friendly site and native apps. Their native apps are for both their sportsbook and casino. You can download them on your Android or iOS-powered devices.

We didn’t check their apps out, though we’ve heard great things about them. Instead, we checked out their mobile-responsive site.

Their mobile casino is solid. Their games are listed in a grid format, which makes it easy to see what they are. There were dozens if not hundreds of games to choose from, depending on which section you were in.

Keep in mind that their game selection may depend on the country you’re playing from.

Their mobile sportsbook is top-notch, too. It looks like you have all the same sports, markets, and betting options from their desktop sportsbook available on your mobile device.

Going through their markets and placing our bets was simple to do, too.

Their navigation was similar if not identical to their desktop casino. It’s intuitive and easy to use. You can handle everything from your phone, too, including playing games and making bets and depositing and cashing out.

They get two thumbs up from us here.

Customer Support

Here are your options for contacting customer support.

Envelope
PHONE: Request by Using Form on Site
LIVE CHAT

They don’t offer phone support in that you can call them whenever you want. Instead, you contact them via their web form to let them know you’d prefer a phone call, and they’ll call you back.

This is still a huge thumbs up from us. While you may not be able to talk to them right now, it’s not as if you’re guaranteed that if you were able to call them yourself. You could wait on hold for who knows how long.

We didn’t test their phone support out during our review. We tried their email support instead. They responded in just a few hours, which is reasonable given the time difference. BetVictor was able to answer our questions on the first attempt, too.

Their support gets two thumbs up from us.

Conclusion – BetVictor.com

BetVictor has a lot going for them.

We were impressed with their overall casino selection, especially their slots and live dealer sections. Those two sections can keep you busy for as long as you want (or until your money runs out).

Their sportsbook was equally impressive. They cover lots of sports, lots of markets, and have several neat features that bettors of all backgrounds and skill levels will enjoy using.

We also liked their offers, especially the casino welcome offer. It allows you to try all their games without much risk on your part. Their Million Dollar Bet promo is cool, too.

They’re not without their weaknesses, of course. They can beef up their table and video poker section in their casino. They could also add esports to their sportsbook. More offers wouldn’t hurt, either.

That said, no gambling site is perfect. If perfection is what you’re looking for, then you’re going to be looking for a long time.

However, if very good is good enough, then you can’t go wrong with BetVictor. Create your account now and see for yourself.
