Who owns and operates Malina Casino? How long have they been in business?

MalinaCasino.com is operated by Tranello Ltd. Their parent company – Araxio Development N.V. – is incorporated and licensed in Curacao.

They’ve been online since 2016.

How’s their reputation? What do others think of them?

Malina doesn’t have much of a reputation. I chalk this up to them being so new.

They DO have an 8.22/10 rating on AskGamblers.com. There are no complaints, and only 6 player reviews. 4 of the player reviews were rated 7/10 or higher. The other 2 gave them poor ratings due to lackluster support, bad connection and for several software providers being unavailable (due to jurisdiction).

I didn’t see anything else worth reporting, including nothing negative or alarming.

What payment methods does MalinaCasino.com accept?

The deposit options you can use include:

  • EcoPayz
  • Maestro
  • MasterCard
  • Neteller
  • Visa Electron
  • Visa
  • Sofortuberwaisung
  • Multibanco
  • P24
  • QIWI
  • Skrill
  • WebMoney
  • Yandex Money
  • EnterCash
  • Sepa

What are your cash out options? Are there any limits or fees?

Your cash out options include:

  • Maestro
  • MasterCard
  • Neteller
  • Visa Electron
  • Visa
  • EcoPayz
  • Skrill

They process payments Monday thru Friday. You should expect processing to take as long as 24 hours.

Their cash out limits are:

  • Daily: €1,000
  • Weekly: €3,000
  • Monthly: €15,000

Limits suck, though these are a tad higher than limits imposed at other casinos. And Malina Casino does say they may make exceptions for VIP customers and jackpot winners. That’s good news.

They also have a clause that states you need to roll your deposit over 3x before you can request a cashout. Otherwise, they reserve the right to retain a 10% commission to cover processing costs, and as much as 15% if you use a bank card to fund your account.

This sucks – and it’s higher than I’ve seen from other casinos. So, make sure you plan to play for a while (and don’t need your money) before you deposit. Because 10% adds up fast – a $350 deposit will cost as much as a bank wire, to give you a little perspective.

Do they offer a welcome bonus? What are the terms?

Yup – they offer a match bonus to first-time depositors.

Deposit at least €20 and receive a 100% match bonus up to €300.

On top of that, you’ll also get 100 free spins. The free spins are credited to your account at the rate of 20 spins per day for 5 days.

The playthrough on the bonus is 40x the bonus – which is okay. Only slots and other soft casino games will apply to the bonus. Card, table and video poker games DO NOT count, which sucks.

Specific slot machines will have a 200x playthrough. So, it’s a good idea to read their terms before you accept the offer.

Other important terms to know:

  • You can bet a max of 5 while completing the offer.
  • You have 10 days to complete the rollover terms.
  • The most you can cash out in winnings from this offer is €

You’ll need to contact support by email or live chat to claim your bonus and free spins.

What additional promotions can you claim?

There are a few other offers. Here are the details.

  • Weekly Reload Bonus – Make a €25 or larger deposit and receive 50 free spins. Your winnings will be converted to bonus money, which you’ll need to wager 40x (at a minimum) before you can cash out. The remaining rules (bet sizing, max cash out, etc.) are the same as the welcome bonus above.
  • Weekend Reload Bonus – Make a deposit of €20 or more and receive a 50% match bonus up to €700. Deposit at least €30 and you can get the 50% match bonus plus 50 free spins.

This bonus is available on your first deposit made on Friday thru Sunday. You’ll need to contact Malina Casino by live chat to activate it.

This offer has all the same rules as the welcome bonus above.

  • Live Casino Cash Back – You can receive cashback every Sunday based on your live casino action from the previous week. You’ll receive 10% of your losses – the minimum you can receive is €5 and the max is €150.

Your cashback will have a 3x rollover in either the casino or live casino before you can cash out. Aside from the rollover, this offer will have the same terms as their welcome bonus.

Overall Thoughts

Malina Casino has a few decent offers.

Their playthrough is okay. It’s not the lowest, but it’s far from the highest.

My biggest gripe with their bonuses is that they’re all for slots and scratch card players. With the exception of the cashback – which you can only get by playing in the live casino – their offers are for slots players.

I think that’s one of the biggest improvements they can make – add an offer that table and card players can claim. Maybe a 100% match up to €100?

Other than that, I’d boost the max cash out, especially considering the playthrough. I’d like to see a VIP program, too – at the very least a points-to-cashback program.

Good job overall, though.

What software providers do they work with? What kinds of games can you play?

They work with several software providers.

For example:

  • QTech
  • Quickspin
  • Quickfire
  • iSoftBet
  • Pragmatic Play
  • NetEnt
  • Amatic
  • Rival
  • Betsoft
  • Yggdrasil Gaming
  • Euro Games Technology
  • Elk Studios
  • Push Gaming
  • Habanero

They offer everything from live dealer games to online slots, blackjack, video poker, and more.

However, one thing to keep in mind is that certain games may not be available to you depending on the country/jurisdiction you live in. This is under 10. Notes in their terms and conditions, if you want to see exactly what software and games are prohibited to players in your area.

What devices is their casino compatible with? Are they mobile compatible?

They have an instant play casino – no download is required. So long as you have Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Internet Explorer, and have Adobe Flash installed on your computer, you can play here.

You can play from your mobile device, too. I checked them out using an iPhone and their casino looked great. You can handle your banking and account details from your mobile device, too.

One thing I wasn’t a big fan of is how they didn’t separate their other games from their slot titles. I choose ‘slots,’ but ended up seeing their table, card and video poker games, too. That’s a little frustrating, not to mention it can be confusing for some people.

I also expected far more slots than what they had here. But then it hit me – they probably hid all the games not available to players in the USA. Not just for playing, as Americans can’t play here, but also hid them from view.

So, I fired up the VPN and viewed their slot selection from Canada... and their selection is more like what I was expecting to see. They have tons of licensed titles in addition to your general slots like the ones listed above.

For example, a few titles that stuck out to me include:

  • Jurassic World
  • Jurassic Park
  • Tarzan
  • Terminator 2
  • Battlestar Galactica
  • Paranormal Activity
  • Jackpot Rango
  • Platoon
  • Rambo
  • Basic Instinct
  • Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

And so on.

If you’re fortunate enough to have access to most, if not all of their slot machines, you won’t have anything to complain about. Their slots cover the full spectrum in terms of features, progressives and themes.

I think you could even go as far as to say the selection here would be better than most brick and mortar casinos.

Casino Card Games

Just a heads up – they dump all their ‘card’ games into this section. But that also includes your table games and video poker machines. So, I’ll split them up below so you can see them easier.

Video Poker

  • Aces & Eights
  • Joker Poker
  • Aces & Faces Power Poker
  • All Aces Poker
  • Bonus Deuces Wild Poker
  • Bonus Poker
  • Deuces & Joker
  • Deuces Wild
  • Double Double Bonus
  • Double Bonus
  • Jacks or Better
  • Double Jackpot Poker
  • Pyramid Double Bonus Poker

There are several more video poker machines than this, but they’re all duplicates. This is a good enough list as is, though. The rest of their machines (the duplicates) will simply come down to which software provider you prefer.

Card Games

  • Baccarat
  • Blackjack
  • Oasis Poker
  • High Low Draw
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Cyberstud
  • Big Five Blackjack
  • Multihand Blackjack
  • Atlantic City Blackjack

This selection is a bit disappointing. I expect FAR MORE card games considering all the software providers they work with.

That said, I’m not sure it’s too surprising considering none of their bonuses are for card/table game players. So, maybe they’ve decided to focus primarily on slots players?!

Now, as soon as I typed the sentence above, I moved on to their roulette section... which is where I found all their other card and table games.

For example, I found:

  • Red Dog
  • Top Card Trumps
  • Super 7 Blackjack
  • Pontoon
  • Pirate 21
  • Triple Edge Poker
  • Stud Poker
  • European Blackjack
  • Caribbean Poker
  • Ride’em Poker
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Blackjack French
  • Blackjack Reno Multi-Hand
  • Casino Holdem

So, this definitely changes my opinion of their card/table game selection. You can’t complain about all the games they have. This applies to their video poker selection, too, as I found a few unique titles in their roulette section.

But now my problem is with the way they’ve organized all their games. Why bother to create different sections labeled ‘card’ or ‘roulettes’ if you’re going to list whatever games you want instead?

This makes it really frustrating for users because you might check out their card games section for, say, red dog, but not see it. That information might lead you to decide that Malina Casino isn’t right for you. So, you leave for another casino.

I wonder how many potential customers they’ve lost because of this?

Anyway... here are the roulette games they offer:

  • Roulette Crystal
  • European Roulette
  • Zoom Roulette

What’s sort of funny about their ‘roulettes’ page is that you see one roulette game at the very top, and then you have to scroll to almost the bottom of the page to see their remaining roulette titles.

Anyway, organization aside – they have a solid selection of casino games. On top of all these, they also have a few of your misc. games like craps, keno, bingo bonanza, and so on.

Live Casino

  • Blackjack
  • Three Card Poker
  • Ultimate Texas Hold’em
  • Baccarat
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Roulette
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Dream Catcher

This is a solid selection of live casino games. No complaints here.

Overall Thoughts

Malina Casino is a solid casino. There are tons of games to choose from. Dare I say more games than you’ll find in most (US) brick and mortar casinos.

My biggest gripe is with how they don’t seem to care about how they’ve organized their games. Their filters, whether it’s slots, card or roulettes, are meaningless.

My suggestion is that you save whatever games you like to play so that you can use the My Games filter to quickly find them, instead of having to wade through the mess to find them each time you want to play them.

What do we think of Malina Casino? Do we recommend them to our readers?

Yeah, I think so.

It’s tough to get overly excited about them when you consider that they’re a brand-new casino with hardly any reputation online. You just never really know what you’re getting yourself into.

It doesn’t help that there are a few (simple) things they need to fix or improve.

For one, their game organization. I think it’s one of the worst things about their casino. It’s such a simple thing that makes a HUGE difference in the kind of experience you’ll have.

Their 3x rollover on deposits clause sucks, too. I’m not really sure which is worse – the 3x rollover or the 10% fee if you don’t do it. Either way, if you’re going to deposit here, make sure you play 3x whatever amount you deposit.

Last, I’d like to see more offers overall. More importantly, I’d like to see an offer or two for table/card/video poker game players. Some people love to claim them, despite the fact that the rollover is so much higher than they are for slots players.

All that said, I don’t see anything that should make or break your decision to play here. If you’re in the neighborhood for a new casino, and are willing to overlook some of my complaints above, by all means feel free to check them out.
