Royal Panda Casino Review for 2022
Let me tell you something – reviewing Royal Panda Casino was a breath of fresh air after reviewing some of the less palatable casinos online.
Their casino stuck out to me because there’s a giant, smiling panda bear on their website. He looks really happy to be here. It makes you wonder if you’ll feel the same way after spending a few bucks at their casino.
And, I think you will.
Between my experience, and the experiences I’ve read about from others, I’ve come to the conclusion that Royal Panda is a super solid casino with decent offers, a great game selection and stellar reputation.
If you signed up now, I’m positive you won’t regret it. And that’s not hype.
But, I’ll understand if you need proof to back up those claims. Which is why we included all the proof you’ll need to decide if this casino’s right from you, ranging from who runs Royal Panda to the payment options they accept and games they offer.
You’ll find it all – and more – in our review below.
Let’s get started.
Who are they? How long have they been in business?
Royal Panda is owned and operated by Royal Panda Limited Casinos. They’ve been in business since 2014. They’re licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and the Gambling Commission of Great Britain.
What immediately stood out about them is their use of a mascot. Few casinos bother to use one. But you might be wondering – why a panda?
Here’s how they explain it:
You definitely get some of those vibes after spending a little time on their website. Similar to the feeling you might get playing in a brick and mortar casino.
What’s their reputation like? How do they treat their customers?
Their reputation is solid. They have a stellar reputation, as you can see from all the high ratings, reviews and comments from industry leading review and watchdog sites.
Here are a few examples:
- casinomeister.com – An Accredited Casino. They say: “Rave reviews from our members - professionally run online casino”
- CasinoListings.com – An 8/10
- ThePogg.com – Recommended with an 8.4/10
- AskGamblers.com – An 8.8/10
- WizardOfOdds.com – Endorsed
It’s hard to argue with that, isn’t it?
But to be fair – to play both sides of the coin – I did check out the 9 complaints on AskGamblers.com. All but 2 of them were resolved. The other two were rejected; this usually means that the player was in the wrong – there was nothing to complain about – which led AskGamblers.com to close (or ‘reject’) the complaint.
The bottom line – there’s nothing to worry about here.
What countries are prohibited from playing at Royal Panda?
Residents from the following countries are prohibited from registering at Royal Panda:
- United States of America
- Czech Republic
How do you contact support?
You can contact support through:
There’s also a form on their website.
I contacted them with a question about their VIP program while writing this review. In less than 24 hours I received a detailed response. It was the only time I had to reach out for help, and the experience was a positive one.
What payment methods does Royal Panda accept?
Here are your payment options:
- Visa Electron
- Paysafe Card
- Ukash Przelewy24
- Wire Transfer
- Todito Cash
- AstroPay Card
Limits range from $10 to $15,000, depending on the option you choose. There are no fees charged (from Royal Panda).
How can you cash out your winnings? Are there any limits or fees?
- Wire transfer
- Visa electron Neteller
Limits range from $10 to $100,000, depending on the option you choose. There are no fees charged (from Royal Panda).
Are new customers given a welcome bonus? What is it? What’s the catch?
They sure are. Royal Panda will match your first deposit (100%) up to $100. You can use this to play (just about) any game you want – slots, video poker, blackjack and other table games.
The playthrough for this offer is a super low 35x the bonus – or $3,500, if you claim the entire amount. However, this playthrough only applies to slots, scratch cards and soft games. If you want to play video poker, table or live table games, then your playthrough will be 350x.
While I don’t like having to wager 10x more than slots players do, this is still relatively low compared to most other online casinos. If you want to play blackjack while clearing a bonus, Royal Panda is a good place to do it.
Bets are limited to $7.50 per round/spin. I’ve seen other reviews that complain about this limit relative to the bonus amount. I see their point, but disagree. It’s much higher than the $5-$6 wagering limits I’ve seen from other casinos.
It sounds like you can cash out both your winnings and bonus once you fulfill the playthrough requirements. However, you’ll have only 90 days to do it, or else any remaining bonus money will expire.
Are there any additional offers you can claim?
They have a couple of additional evergreen offers:
- Weekend Bonus – Every weekend Royal Panda gives you the chance to claim a 50% deposit bonus up to $150. This is available every Friday.
This offer has the same playthrough requirements as the welcome bonus above.
- Lucky 21 – On the 21st of every month, Royal Panda is giving out $210 to three live blackjack players. To enter yourself in the drawing, all you have to do is play live blackjack on the 21st of every month. If you’re one of the chosen 3, the money will be added to your account by noon the following day (the 22nd).
That’s it for offers, though they do run occasional limited time offers.
Do they offer a comps and/or VIP program?
Yes, they do. They offer both – it’s called the Loyal Panda program.
You’ll receive 1 point for every $10 to $50 you spend. It depends on the game you play. Here’s a chart showing you what I mean:
|Slots||$10||1 Loyal Panda Point|
|Roulette / live roulette||$25||1 Loyal Panda Point|
|Table games||$50||1 Loyal Panda Point|
|Video poker||$50||1 Loyal Panda Point|
|Live casino||$50||1 Loyal Panda Point|
|Scratchcards||$10||1 Loyal Panda Point|
|Softgames||$10||1 Loyal Panda Point|
Collect enough points and you can then exchange them for cash or Royal Panda-branded electronics, free spins, (non-branded) merchandise or plane tickets to Las Vegas. You can see all their options in their store.
The points you collect will also determine what your Loyalty Level is. There are 4 levels. Here’s a chart showing each of those levels and what it takes to get to each one:
|Loyalty level||Entry criteria||Description|
|Bronze||Default||All players are crowned at Royal Panda|
|Silver||15,000 LP Points||Next-level rewards for next-level players|
|Gold||45,000 LP Points||Gold-standard benefits for loyal players|
|Diamond||120,000 LP Points||Diamonds are a Loyal Panda’s best friend|
They don’t say anything about their VIP program other than what it takes to achieve each level. So, I sent them an email to see if they could clear this up for me.
Here’s what they had to say:
The no wagering requirement sounds really good to me.
Pawel also made it very clear that they take care of all their players. As a customer and/or follower and/or subscriber – no matter your VIP level – you’re privy to perks such as:
- Free spins on new slot machines (for newsletter subscribers).
- Free cash drops and special offers (for Facebook followers).
- One-off promotions (for everyone).
So, if you decide to become a customer, it’ll make sense to hop onto their newsletter and like them on Facebook. It’s a simple way to get access to exclusive offers.
Due to the fact that the Royal Panda sportsbook was just launched in late 2017, it is understandable that they do not yet have any specific promotions for their sports bettors.
However, those who plan on making bets in the sportsbook will be able to clear the 100% Welcome Bonus that was previously mentioned.
The playthrough requirement for clearing this welcome bonus is a fairly difficult 7x, which means that if you deposited €100 you will need to make €700 in sports bets before you can make a withdrawal.
The good news is that while most sportsbooks will only allow bets with a minimum of 2.00 odds to contribute to this playthrough requirement, Royal Panda includes bets that have odds of 1.80 or higher.
Royal Panda’s sportsbook appears to be extremely organized due to the fact that they separate their giant selection of betting markets into two categories: “live” and “pre-match.” By doing this, they make it extremely easy to find the game that you are looking for, as long as you know if the game has already started.
There is also a pull-down menu that allows you to filter out games that start anywhere from the next hour to the next seventy-two hours.
We also love the fact that they put all of the most popular betting events of the day at the top of the list of games. This presumably saves people a ton of time when they are looking for their game of choice, especially when they are betting on popular sports such as basketball, soccer, or football.
In addition to all of this, Royal Panda offers a gamecast of every single live game in the upper right-hand corner of the sportsbook page, which is basically a virtual replay of every play in the sporting event.
All you need to do is click on your game of choice and you will instantly be able to see what is happening in the game without having to turn on a television. They even have a “Live Multiview” feature, which allows you to watch more than one game at a time in this same format.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at all of the betting markets that are available on Royal Panda’s sportsbook:
- Ice Hockey
- Rugby Union
- American Football
- Alpine Skiing
- Aussie Rules
- Auto Racing
- Field Hockey
- Formula 1
- Gaelic Football
- Rugby League
- Rugby Sevens
- Special Bets
- TV Shows and Movies
Go ahead, try and think of a sport that is not on this list! It appears that Royal Panda has every popular sport covered as well as a ton of games that are rarely available for betting such as chess, trotting, rally, and pesapallo. At the time of this writing, there are a whopping 1,840 pre-match games available for betting and 104 live matches.
We really like to see that they included esports betting, since this market seems to be taking the world by storm. Anytime there is an esports competition the arena has zero empty seats, since both kids and adults seem to enjoy these displays of superior video game skill.
Most sportsbooks that offer esports betting only include one or two different video games, but Royal Panda offers bets on a total of six esports! These games include Counter-Strike: GO, Dota 2, Heroes of the Storm, League of Legends, Overwatch, and StarCraft 2.
There are a total of sixty-seven possible ways to bet on these six different games, with Counter-Strike: GO contributing twenty-two of those.
Bets, Limits, and Prices
Once you decide which game you would like to bet on, you simply need to click on it and then move your attention over to the Bet Slip. The Bet Slip will allow you to choose what type of bet you make from a pull-down menu that includes single bets, multiple bets, system bets, or chain bets.
The price for each bet, which is also sometimes referred to as the “odds,” are constantly fluctuating. If you click on the gear symbol in the upper-right hand corner of the Bet Slip, you will be able to choose between three options that pertain to situations where the odds change.
These options include Always Ask, Accept Higher Odds, and Accept Any Odds.
We are impressed with the fact that they bothered to include an odds conversion feature, because not every country uses the same notation, even though they all point to the same basic underlying odds.
The different types of odds that you can choose to use are Decimal, Fraction, American, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
As far as betting limits go, there is no information on their site that explains what the minimum and maximum amounts are.
The only thing that they specify is that you can only win a maximum of €100,000 per day through sports bets, which means that high rollers need to be careful not to make any bets that pay out more than this.
Tell me about their software. Who makes their games? How many can you play?
Royal Panda works with a variety of software providers to bring you hundreds of the gambling industry’s best online casino games.
They work with heavy hitting companies such as:
- Evolution Gaming
- NextGen Gaming
- 1x2Gaming Genesis Gaming
- Elk Studios
The result are hundreds of games spread out across categories such as slots, roulette, blackjack, video poker, live dealer games, and more. Their games are available through their instant play browser casino, or your mobile device.
One thing that immediately stuck out to me is how well their casino is laid out. The navigation is so simple to understand, the newest of new newbies can find their way around. On their games page (when you click the ‘play now’ button at the top) you’ll see the following categories:
- Most popular
- Video slots
- Classic slots
- Table games Live casino
- Hot and cold slots
- Video poker
See what I mean? You can also sort games using the ‘popular’ or ‘A-Z’ filter. Like I said, it’s real simple to find your way around here.
Now, there’s one more software-related thing I want to share with you before I show you some of the games you can play.
They have an interesting feature I’ve not noticed on other casinos before – an option to have between 1-4 games open. I tested it out, playing both Copy Cats (slots) and blackjack simultaneously.
There are tons of games to choose from – I’m not sure if you can play ALL their games in the multi-window format. But it looks like your options span all their game categories (slots, video poker and table games), so I’m sure you can find a combo that works for you.
My only complaint about it is that the game screens are very small when you go from 1 to 2 games. And that’s even while playing on a 15” laptop screen. I think 4 windows/games would be too small for me, unless I had a larger screen OR two screens. It just wouldn’t be enjoyable otherwise, especially during bonus rounds or while playing games I’m not familiar with.
But it’s a neat feature nonetheless, and a great example of why online gambling trumps offline gambling.
What types of games can you play? Can you give me a few examples?
Sure. I’ll use the same categories they do, and give you an idea of what’s available in each one.
- Copy Cats
- Hansel And Gretel
- Red Riding Hood
- Divine Fortune
- Shangri La
- Burning Desire
- Dead Or Alive
- Tomb Raider 2
- King Cashalot
- Reel Gems
- Jekyll And Hyde
- Battlestar Galactica
- Tomb Raider
- Throne Of Egypt
- Life Of Riches
- Candy Dreams
- Lost Vegas
- Tarzan Frozen Diamonds
- Ninja Magic
- Game Of Thrones
- Ragnarök: Fall Of Odin
- Lucky Zodiac
- Forsaken Kingdom
- Legend Of Olympus
- Jurassic Park
- Terminator 2
- Avalon II
- Blood Lore Vampire Clan
- Emerald Isle
- Koi Princess
- Sam On The Beach
- Hall Of Gods
- Emperor Of The Sea
- Machine Gun Unicorn
- Dragon Dance
- Kitty Cash
- Wild Toro
- Hot Ink
- Justice League
You’ll notice there’s a good mix of slots here, ranging from your traditional casino-themed slots to your comic book themed slots, fairy tale slots and video game themed slots.
I’ve played Jurassic Park, Terminator and Hellboy before. I’d recommend you check those out if you’re into those themes. Copy Cats is fun, too. Other than that, I’d check out the Fairytale Legends slots. I think those sound interesting.
- Royal Panda Live Roulette
- European Roulette
- Double Ball Roulette
- Live Roulette
- Live Speed London Roulette
- Immersive Roulette
- Slingshot Auto Roulette
- American Roulette
- French Roulette
Notice all the variations you have here. I challenge you to find another casino who has this many unique variants, and not just a dozen of the same roulette game, with the only difference being stakes or graphics.
- Royal Panda Live Blackjack
- Royal Panda Live Blackjack VIP
- Blackjack Professional Series
- Live Blackjack
- Blackjack Blackjack Party
- European Blackjack Gold
- Blackjack Classic
- Double Exposure Blackjack
- Single Deck Blackjack Professional Series
My comments from the roulette games above applies here, too. You have several unique variants, as opposed to games that are only different in terms of the stakes you can play.
- Red Dog
- Pontoon Professional Series
- Oasis Poker Professional Series
- Casino Hold’em
- Caribbean Stud Poker Professional Series
- Baccarat Professional Series
- Punto Banco Professional Series
There’s a lot of overlap between the roulette, blackjack, table and live dealer games section. That’s why this section looks smaller than it really is. If you enjoy all table games, and not just roulette, or not just blackjack, then this is the section for you.
- Royal Panda Live Roulette
- Royal Panda Live Blackjack
- Royal Panda Live Blackjack VIP
- Dream Catcher
- Double Ball Roulette
- Live Roulette
- Live Speed Roulette
- Live Speed Baccarat
- London Roulette
- Live Blackjack Immersive Roulette
- Live Baccarat
- Live Baccarat Squeeze
- Live Caribbean Stud Poker
- Blackjack Party
- Slingshot Auto Roulette
- Live Casino Hold’em
- Live Three Card Poker
- Live Ultimate Texas Hold’em
Nothing new to add here. Like their other sections, there’s a lot of variety in a section where you’ll find more duplicate games and variants than unique options from other casinos.
- Jacks or Better Double Up
- Deuces Wild Double Up
- Joker Wild Double Up
- All American Double Up
- Joker Poker Tens or Better
- Bonus Poker Deluxe
- Aces and Faces
Based on their game selection above, I sort of expected to see more video poker options than this. It’s average, but I think most people will be happy with it.
There you have it. We listed most of the non-slot games here, so if there’s something you don’t see, but want to play, there’s a chance they don’t have it.
But the opposite is true for their slots. We shared only a fraction of their slot titles. So, if there’s something specific you want to play, but don’t see in our list above, you’ll want to search their slot section to see if it’s there.
Last thing – I checked out their instant play casino from my laptop. But you can also use their instant play casino using your iPhone, iPad and Android powered devices. Or, you can use their mobile casino. Either way, you’ll have 220+ casino games to choose from.
What do you like most about Royal Panda?
Here are the things that stand out to me:
- The 35x rollover on the bonus. This is one of the lowest rollovers out there.
- The variety of games. Many casinos who use Microgaming and other similar software providers tend to have the same kinds of games (Blackjack, Blackjack VIP, Blackjack VIP Gold, etc.), which leads to lots of duplicates. From what I see, Royal Panda has done a good job of blending software providers while offering lots of unique variants (Blackjack, Pontoon, European Blackjack, Single Deck Blackjack, etc.). I didn’t see a ton of duplicate games here.
- You can play 220+ games from your mobile device. That’s more than some (desktop) casinos offer.
What do you like least?
Here are some things I think they can improve:
- I like the deposit bonus, but I think it neglects higher stakes players. I’d like to see a larger additional bonus; or perhaps an option to choose between a low or high stakes offer; OR a multi-deposit offer where you can claim up to $100 or $250 for every deposit – for 3 or 5 deposits.
- There’s not a ton of information about their VIP program. I emailed them about it, but I think that information should be on their website.
Do you recommend Royal Panda Casino?
Absolutely. This is an excellent choice, and probably the only casino most people reading this need to have an account with. It’d be nice to see more offers, but it sounds like they offer plenty to existing customers behind the scenes. So, I wouldn’t worry much about that.
The bottom line – if you’re looking for a reputable casino who offers lots of unique games from several software providers, then my opinion is that you should give Royal Panda a shot. Create your account now.
