Fury vs. Usyk Odds & Pick

  • Bovada’s Fury vs. Usyk odds favor Tyson Fury to become the undisputed champion on May 18.
  • EveryGame and most other betting sites think Oleksandr Usyk is slightly more likely to win.
  • If the bout ends without a winner, Fury and Usyk will have to fight again later this year.

The Fury vs. Usyk odds suggest that it’s basically a coin toss when it comes to who’s gonna win the fight on May 18. Billed as Ring of Fire, the heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is the first bout for the undisputed title in 24 and a half years.

For the first time since 1999, we might get an undisputed heavyweight champ. I say “might” because there’s always a chance for the fight to end in a draw. Such a thing, however, doesn’t seem very likely to happen, at least not judging by the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk odds.

Speaking of which, let’s see what Usyk vs. Fury odds suggest will happen in Saudi Arabia.

Latest Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk Odds

Sportsbook Tyson Fury Odds Oleksandr Usyk
BetUS -105 -125
Bovada -115 -105
MyBookie -111 -119
BetNow -105 -125

If you would like to back Tyson Fury to become the undisputed champ, the two best boxing betting sites to visit are BetUS and BetNow. Gypsy King is priced at -105 at both of these sportsbooks.

If, on the other hand, you want to put your money on Oleksandr Usyk winning the May 18 bout, the best place to do it is Bovada. This sportsbook is giving -105 on the Ukrainian fighter.

But what if you want to bet that this fight will end in a tie? With all the sportsbooks you see in the table above, a draw would mean you getting your money back.

However, there’s one betting site where a draw comes with the Fury vs. Usyk betting odds of +1600. The sportsbook in question is EveryGame.

Best Site for Betting on Fury vs. Usyk – EveryGame

EveryGame is giving +1600 on a draw happening in the Fury vs. Usyk fight. Meanwhile, the odds for Fury are -105, while Usyk is seen as the favorite by the EveryGame oddsmakers, with odds of -125.

This is actually great value, which is why I strongly recommend visiting this site. Apart from offering great Fury vs. Usyk odds, this bookmaker is also great for its bonuses.

In fact, EveryGame sits at the top of our list of the best sites for sports betting bonuses, mainly thanks to its 100% up to $500 welcome bonus that comes with only 8x wagering.

So, if you still don’t have an EveryGame account, make one in time to bet on the Fury vs. Usyk fight!

Why Is Oleksandr Usyk Betting Favorite?

Excluding Bovada, all sports betting sites seem to favor Oleksandr Usyk (21-0) to win. What I think is the main reason is that the Ukrainian pugilist seems to be taking this bout more seriously than the Englishman.

While Tyson Fury’s been busy recording songs, writing books, and appearing in reality TV programs over the last 18 months, Usyk’s only focus has been boxing.

It appears that despite being 37 years old, he’s in the best shape of his life. One may argue that his prime started when he moved up to the heavyweight division.

His heavyweight debut happened in 2019 when he beat Chazz Witherspoon. Then, he won the WBO Inter-Continental title by beating Derek Chisora in 2020. The win recommended Usyk for the title fight against Anthony Joshua a year later.

Usyk beat the Englishman by unanimous, getting ahold of the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles. In 2022, the two fought again, and the same thing happened once more – Usyk beat AJ, this time by a split decision.

Since then, he’s fought once more. Last year, he beat Daniel Dubois by a KO in the ninth round. It was a controversial win, however, given that Usyk was given almost four minutes to recover from a low blow by Dubois, which many believed was actually a regular knockdown.

Despite the controversy, Usyk did look good in that fight, dancing around the ring and making sure he didn’t get KO-ed by the Brit with the fists of concrete.

Dubois is a boxer with a 95% knockout-to-win ratio, but he failed to rock Usyk. Does this mean Fury won’t do it either, given that Gypsy King’s knockout percentage is 70.58%?

If you think Usyk has the recipe for beating Fury, you should head over to Bovada to put some money on the Ukrainian at -105.

Can Tyson Fury Win His 35th Professional Fight?

Tyson Fury (34-0-1) is already one of the greatest heavyweights in the history of the sport, but beating Usyk would help him pave his way to the GOAT status.

The winner of the May 18 fight will become only the sixth undisputed champion since the start of the WBA–WBC–IBF era. One of the boxers who pulled off this feat is Mike Tyson, whom Fury was named after.

Speaking of the devil, Tyson is making his comeback this summer in a bout with Jake Paul. To see what to expect from that bout, why not give my Tyson vs. Paul preview a read?

But let’s get back to Gypsy King – does this guy have what it takes to become the undisputed champ? Sure, he does. After all, he’s already defeated the who’s who of the heavyweight division.

It was 2015 when he became a household name among sports fans. That’s when he beat Wladimir Klitschko for five titles. However, he then went on a three-year hiatus, after succumbing to depression and alcohol/drug abuse.

He defeated his demons in 2018, which is when his resurrection started. Since then, we saw him beat Deontay Wilder twice, with one of their fights ending in a draw. We also saw him beat Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora by TKO.

However, in his most recent fight, he beat former UFC champion Francis Ngannou by a split decision, even getting dropped by the Predator once. According to Fury, this happened because he didn’t spend too much time preparing for that bout.

But is he ready for the historic fight with Usyk? If you think that he is, why not back him at EveryGame, where he’s priced at -105?

Best Bets for Usyk vs. Fury

Apart from being able to bet on the outcome of the Ring of Fire fight, you can also bet on some Fury vs. Usyk props, many of which come with great odds.

One such prop is that the fight will go the distance. Given the importance of this fight, I’m certain that both boxers will do all they can to stay on their feet until the end.

If you want to play it safe, instead of betting on the fight going the distance, you can bet on over 10.5 rounds. This way, if one knocks the other one out in the closing moments of the bout, you will still get the money.

And if you feel lucky, I think the best bet is that Fury vs. Usyk will end in a tie. For this, EveryGame is offering +1600, meaning that you can cash in $1600 on a $100 bet.

All of these bets are appealing, so it all depends on which you like the most. Again, if you’re looking for the best overall site for betting on Usyk vs. Fury, I think that’s EveryGame.

Advice for Betting on Fury vs. Usyk

There’s no secret formula to figure out who’s going to win the super-fight on May 18. However, there are some ways to increase your chance of winning, or at least, reduce the chance of losing too much.

The odds are good you could benefit from some Fury vs. Usyk betting tips. Here are my favorite two.

Find the Best Odds and Bonuses for Your Bet

The odds for Fury vs. Usyk differ a lot depending on the sportsbook. Let’s say you want to bet on Fury, you’d need to bet $115 to win $100 at Bovada. However, if you do it at EveryGame, you need to bet $10 less to win $100. It’s just the opposite if the Ukrainian is your Fury vs. Usyk pick.

Apart from finding the best value for Fury vs. Usyk odds, you should also look for the best bonuses and promos. Some sportsbooks are giving away lucrative bonuses that you can use to bet on this fight. There’s a 150% crypto bonus at BetUS, a 100% welcome bonus at EveryGame, and so on.

Figure Out Who’s in Better Shape Ahead of Ring of Fire

This is arguably the biggest fight in the lives of both Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. That’s why you can be 100% certain they will take it seriously. Actually, considering the importance of the fight, both have probably been working hard to prepare for May 18 for months.

Usyk is famous for being a hard worker, which is why it’s no surprise he looks ripped. Fury, on the other hand, loves partying. He doesn’t look as fit as Usyk, but that could be Fury’s plot to trick the opponent into thinking this is going to be an easy fight.

There’s plenty of time left before the fight, so make sure to check their social media profiles for training footage that could help you decide which boxer to back.

Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk Prediction

They’re both undefeated and I think they might remain undefeated for a bit longer. What I’m saying is that my Fury vs. Usyk prediction is that the May 18 fight will end in a draw.

Fury is a tall guy with a long reach, so Usyk probably won’t get to hit him in the head too many times. Even if he does hit him, it doesn’t mean he’ll put him to sleep. Remember that both Deontay Wilder and Francis Ngannou knocked Fury down, but he got up every time.

I also think that Usyk is way too fast and agile for Fury to land a fight-ending punch. Usyk is also a very tactical boxer who does not lose his composure, so don’t expect him to throw any risky shots at Fury.

For all these reasons, I wouldn’t be surprised if the fight finished in a tie, which would automatically trigger a rematch. Plus, the Fury vs. Usyk odds for this bet are just too good to miss: +1600 at EveryGame.

This isn’t the only high profile boxing match being discussed. There’s also the hypothetical bout between social media icons, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. For a little fun (and some betting advice) check out my breakdown of that potential bout.

Elon Musk tweeted a cage match challenge to Mark Zuckerberg, and betting odds are already live. The Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg odds favor Zuckerberg over Musk, most likely due to his training. Zuckerberg is the early consensus favorite and my pick to win...
