Company

Wizard Slots is a brand-new casino – they launched in June 2017. They’re part of the Jumpman Gaming network, which includes dozens of other brands including: Lucky Admiral, Big City Slots, Top Dog Slots and Slot Shack.

Licensing

All the brands and white-label sites under the Jumpman brand are licensed in two jurisdictions. One is the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). The other is the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC).

You can see their license information on their website.

Reputation (Or Lack Thereof)

Most casinos we review have been around for a year or three – sometimes A LOT more. So, there’s plenty of information about them floating on the web. We can use that info to quickly gauge their reputation.

That’s not the case with Wizard Slots, though. They’re brand-new, and I get the impression the network is too (because they’re launching SO MANY casinos in such a short timeframe). So, they don’t have any reputation to speak of.

You can learn more about Jumpman Gaming.com on their website.

You can always bite the bullet and try them sight unseen, too.

Tip!

A common rule of thumb is to only gamble with money you can afford to lose. It’s timeless advice, really – and you should apply it here.

But I recommend you take it a step further. Since we don’t know much about Wizard Slots, I recommend you deposit and play in even smaller amounts until you know more and you feel you can trust them.

This way you minimize how much you lose in a worst-case scenario.

The payment methods you can use at Wizard Slots include:

  • Pay by Mobile
  • PayPal

Their deposit limits are $5,000 per day, $10,000 per week and $20,000 per month. This is a stark contrast to their cash out limits.

For cash outs, you can use only the methods you used for funding your account (except Pay by Mobile). The minimum you can cash out is $30, while the max you can withdraw is $1,000 per day, $3,000 per week or $5,000 per month.

These limits are pretty bad, especially for an international casino. But what makes it worse is that progressive jackpot wins aren’t excluded.

What that means for you is that, if you win a progressive jackpot – say $200,000 – you’ll receive a payout at the rate of $5,000 per month until the balance is paid in full.

That comes out to 40 months, or a little more than 3 years.

This would never happen in a brick and mortar casino, for one thing. You’d get a check/wire for any progressive you won ON THE SPOT.

Not only that, but new casinos in this industry don’t have the best record for honesty, integrity or longevity. Who’s to say they’ll run their business well enough to be around 3 years from now so that they can pay you in full?

Wizard Slots Casino Promotions

Wizard Slots has a couple offers. Some are better than others. Let’s get into the details.

  • Welcome Bonus – Their welcome offer is a 100% match bonus up to $200. They also give you 20 free spins to use on their Starburst slot machine.

You get to use this offer for your 2nd and 3rd deposit. This means you can receive as much as $600 and 60 free spins.

Sounds good so far …but what’s the catch?

The playthrough on this offer is 65x the deposit and bonus. This comes out to 130x total, which is absolute lunacy when you compare it to other casinos and their 30-80x rollovers.

You can also only cash out up to $500.

To wrap this all up, you can’t play the following games to fulfill the wagering requirement: blackjack, roulette, any other casino style games, hi lo games, video poker, keno and progressive jackpot slots.

My recommendation – pass on this bonus. While most casino bonuses suck nowadays, this is one of the worst bonuses I’ve seen as of late.

  • Pizza Club – If you’re a VIP member you’re eligible for this offer. Play slots on Sunday, and if you’re one of the 5 largest bettors, Wizard will send you a pizza e-voucher worth $15 the following Monday.
  • Mystery Thursday – Make a deposit Wednesday and the following Thursday you’ll be eligible for a ‘mystery’ promotion. This will vary, of course – it’s a MYSTERY – but based on the terms it looks like free spins and bonus money are standard. All you have to do to claim your offer is log-in on Thursdays.
  • Happy Hour – Starting on Monday, make a deposit and you’ll be eligible for 10 free spins. To claim your spins, you’ll need to log-in on Wednesday between 3-7pm. You’ll receive your free spins immediately. The max you can cash out is $500.
  • Super Saturday – Make 3+ deposits of $10 or more and you’ll receive 20 free spins by 8am the following morning. You can cash out as much as $500 with this offer.
  • Midnight Madness – With this offer, if you’re one of the first 250 people to make a deposit after midnight on Tuesday you’ll receive 20 free spins. The min deposit for this offer is $10, and you can claim this offer as many times as you want – as long as supplies last.
  • Trophy + Trophy Race – They have an interesting promo where you’ll receive trophies for completing tasks, like using certain banking methods or wagering X amount of dollars. You’ll move up in levels every so many trophies you earn. You’ll receive free spins at every level, with more free spins being awarded at the higher levels.

Then they have their trophy race. The first person to 75 trophies will win $1,500 – and that’s on top of the 165 spins you’ll earn along the way.

And… that wraps up their core offers. But they also have their VIP program. Let’s look at that next.

Kudos VIP Program

One of the more interesting things about their VIP program is that every point is called a Kudos. More than that though, you’ll earn 1 Kudos for every $1 you deposit, instead of the normal point for every $1-$10 you wager that other casinos employ.

But like all other VIP programs your points will determine your status, thus the perks you can earn.

Wizard Slots is no different.

The following chart shows you the different tiers and perks in their VIP program:

Level Weekly Cashback Free Spins Birthday Bonus Kudos Req
Newbie No 0 Yes Up to 100 Kudos
Expert No 5 Yes 101 – 1,000
Pro 3% 10 Yes 1,001 – 2,500
VIP 5% 25 Yes 2501 – 5,000
Legend 10% 50 Yes 5,000+

One thing that’s a touch different about Wizard’s VIP program from their sister casinos is that they don’t pay the 1% cashback to Expert members that many other Jumpman casinos do.

It’s a small difference – you’ll have to decide if it’s a deal-breaker for you. It would be for me if I were comparing Jumpman casinos. 1% doesn’t sound like much, but hey, it all adds up.

Other than that, the only important thing to keep in mind is that you maintain your VIP status by placing bets. Here’s how much you need to spend each month to maintain each level in their VIP program:

Legend
£20,000+ wagered per month
VIP
£5,000+ wagered per month
Pro
£1,000+ wagered per month
Expert
£100+ wagered per month

Pretty standard stuff. I do hope they add more perks – like deposit bonuses, gift shop, better points to cashback conversions, etc. – in the future. Otherwise this will be a pretty boring and unrewarding VIP program.

What Games Can You Play?

Wizard Slots works with software providers like NetEnt, Eyecon, Cozy Games, iSoftBet and others, to bring you 200+ casino games. You’ll have access to all the standard options like slots, video poker, blackjack, keno, bingo and more.

You can play their games from any computer that’s compatible with the most common internet browsers – Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer. This typically includes Windows, Mac and Linux powered computers.

Important
Wizard Slots doesn’t have a traditional casino download. You’ll play all their games in their instant play browser casino instead.

Mobile users will be able to play here, too. iOS and Android devices shouldn’t have a problem, while Blackberry and Windows phone and tablet users will be hit or miss.

Let’s look at some of the games you can play. We’ll start with slots.

  • Each $1 to $4.99 spin will award 4 Points.

Overall thoughts –

This is clearly a casino for slots players. Of 200+ casino games, only 15-20 of them are table games and video poker machines.

For that reason, I wouldn’t sign up here unless your desire is to play slots while mixing in a few other games to break up the boredom.

That said, it’s sort of disappointing that they don’t have far more video poker and table game options. I’m especially surprised they don’t offer live dealer games since one of their software providers is NetEnt.

The bottom line – I think this is a decent selection of games for a new casino. What’s more is that it’s a pretty good selection of slots if that’s all you play.

That said, if you want more table games or video poker options, you’ll have to go elsewhere.

Conclusion

Okay, let’s wrap this up. What do we think of Wizard Slots and, more importantly, do we think you should sign up?

Here are my thoughts –

I think this is a pretty good launch for a brand-new casino. They have several offers, and more than enough games and banking options.

However, if you want a deposit bonus, then this isn’t a good casino. The playthrough here is crazy high and not worth chasing. Especially for a max $500 cash out.

Their $5,000 max monthly cash out is unbelievable. It doesn’t exclude progressive jackpots, either. What happens if you hit a $100,000 progressive? I don’t want to find out, I’ll tell you that much.

So, my thought process is this – Wizard Slots isn’t an excellent, tier-one casino. And I think you should have an account at one of the top-shelf casinos first before joining this one. A couple casinos that come to mind include 888, Bet365 or Bodog.

But if you have an account at one of those casinos, and you don’t mind the risks associated with playing at a brand-new casino, AND you can look past and/or skip my complaints above, then I see no reason why you shouldn’t check out Wizard Slots Casino.
