Casino-Mate Casino Review

We were skeptical of Casino-Mate… at first. You want to know why?

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you see a website with a hyphenated URL like Casino-Mate has?

That’s right… SCAM! Run for the hills, or, get your pitchforks. Depending on your mood, of course.

Everything’s okay, though.

We relaxed after creating an account and diving into their casino. It also helped that we did some research and found out that they have a solid reputation.

That’ll teach us to judge a book by its cover, won’t it?

If we had judged them so harshly that we decided to pass them up altogether, we’d have missed out. As you’ll discover through reading our review, they have lots of things going for them.

Table game and video poker players will be happy here, for example. And if you’re a slots player, you won’t need to play anywhere else.

Of course, not EVERYTHING about them is great. We’ll tell you about their weaknesses in our review, too, though they’re far and few between. We know we wouldn’t be doing you any favors if we failed to share them though.

Beyond that, this review is pretty standard. Start reading in the next section to learn all about their company, games, promos, banking options, and more. We’ll then wrap things up with our opinion about Casino-Mate in 2024.

Casino-Mate Basic Information

Casino-Mate is owned by Vegas Partner Lounge Casinos. If they sound familiar, that’s because they also own Crazy Vegas and Golden Riviera Casino.

Casino-Mate has been in business since 2011. They have a license through the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC).

Both are considered reputable regulators in online gaming, which means you should have little to worry about if you decide to play here.

The Casino

Let’s talk about the most important part of Casino-Mate – the casino!

We went in with no expectations and especially didn’t expect to find what we did. Casino-Mate has a large selection of games in every single section – slots, table games and video poker.

A lot of that has to do with the software developers they work with. For example, you’ll find games from top-notch developers like:

  • Microgaming
  • Quickspin
  • Spigo
  • Betsoft

You’ll find just about every kind of game here. The exception are live dealer games.

If that’s not a deal breaker, then you’re going to want to read the following sections. We show you some specific examples of games you can play and what we think of them.

Table Games

Their table game section has 30 games for you to choose from. Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Craps
  • American Roulette
  • Baccarat Gold
  • Beat Me
  • Cas. Stud Poker Common Draw
  • Baccarat
  • Caribbean Poker
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Cyberstud Poker
  • High Limit Baccarat
  • Oasis Poker
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • European Roulette
  • Pirate 21
  • Poker Pursuit
  • Poker3 Heads Up Hold’em
  • Pontoon
  • Red Dog
  • Ride’m Poker
  • Single Deck Blackjack
  • Super 7 Blackjack
  • Three Card Rummy
  • Top Card Trumps
  • Triple Pocket Hold’em Poker
  • VIP American Roulette
  • VIP Pai Gow
  • Zoom Roulette

And more!

There are a couple variants or duplicate titles. But the list above gives you the best idea of the variety you can expect to find here.

They also have a separate blackjack and roulette section. Here are some of the games you’ll find in each one:

Blackjack

  • Big 5 Blackjack Gold
  • Hilo 13 European Blackjack
  • Premier BJ High Streak Gold
  • Vegas Strip Blackjack
  • Vegas Single Deck Blackjack
  • Spanish 21 Blackjack
  • Super Fun 21
  • Double Exposure Blackjack
  • European Blackjack

And more!

Roulette

  • European Roulette
  • Roulette
  • American Roulette
  • Premier Roulette
  • MP Roulette Diamond Edition
  • Multi Wheel Roulette Gold
  • English Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Common Draw Roulette

And more!

The first list of table games above is good enough. When you add the blackjack and roulette games from the other sections, it takes their entire table game library to another level.

They’ve done a solid job here.

We opened a couple games to test them out: to see how they worked, what the limits are, and to see how they looked.

The graphics for the first game we checked out was okay. It wasn’t over the top or super realistic. It was simple. Keep in mind that graphics will vary based on the game you play and who made it.

The table limits we found were $2-$200 for a standard blackjack game. Then we found a single deck blackjack game with slightly better and more realistic graphics with table limits of $1-$100.

Then we checked out a couple roulette games. One didn’t share the table limits, but the other one did – it was $3-$500. The one that didn’t had cartoony graphics. The latter had a more realistic feel.

We’ve come to the conclusion that there’s a good variety here. A good variety of games, limits and graphics. We’re confident most table game players will be happy to play here.

Video Poker

You’ll find one of the largest video poker selections we’ve seen as of late at Casino-Mate.com. We counted 49 machines.

Here’s a sample of what you’ll find here:

  • Jacks or Better
  • Bonus Deuces Wild Poker
  • Deuces and Joker Poker
  • Aces & Eights Poker
  • All American
  • Aces & Faces Power Poker
  • Double Joker Poker
  • Tens or Better Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Joker Poker
  • All Aces Poker
  • Bonus Deuces
  • Bonus Poker
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Louisiana Double Poker
  • Split Way Royal

And more!

This list gives you the best idea of the variety of machines you’ll find here. From here, you’ll have your pick of several variants. For example, you can play pyramid and multi-hand poker games.

You’ll also find several duplicate titles from different software providers. This is good news for you. If you care about what your game looks like in terms of graphics, then test a few machines to see which ones you like most.

Speaking of graphics, you can expect to find some machines that look like they were created alongside MS DOS. They are bright blue and very plain; admittedly we think they are a bit ugly. They look just like the machines you’ll find in a Las Vegas casino. We guess you can say they have a “realistic” feel to them.

Then there are others that look 10-20 years newer. They have a first-person perspective, where you’re sitting at a machine in the middle of a casino.

This isn’t a better or worse sort of thing. It’s just a matter of preference.

As for stakes, we’ve seen games as low as $0.25 and as much as $100, depending on the machine, variant and number of coins you want to play. We recommend you play the max number of coins, even if it means playing at lower stakes overall. That way you can win the max if you happen to hit a royal flush.

To each their own, though.

Slots

You’ll find a large variety of slots at Casino-Mate. They have video slots, classics and 3D slot machines. We counted more than 400 machines in their video slots section alone.

Here’s a mere taste of the machines you’ll find here:

  • Megadeth
  • Untamed Wolf Pack
  • Magic Charms
  • Artic Fortune
  • Victorian Villain
  • Jekyll and Hyde
  • Andre the Giant
  • Cherry Blossoms
  • Call of the Colosseum
  • Tom Raider II
  • Hellboy
  • Hitman
  • Mayan Princess
  • Ladies Nite
  • Steam Punk Heroes
  • Tiger Vs Bear
  • Drone Wars
  • The Legend of Olympus
  • Gothic
  • Disco Night Fright
  • Potion Factory
  • Dolphin Quest
  • Untamed Crowned Eagle
  • Girls with Guns II – Frozen Dawn
  • Cosmic Invaders
  • Foxin Wins
  • So Many Monsters
  • Red Hot Devil
  • Spell of Odin
  • Dragons Myth
  • Ragnarok
  • Attack of the Zombies
  • Forbidden Throne
  • Oink Country Love
  • Humpty Dumpty
  • Wacky Panda
  • Jekyll & Mr. Hyde
  • It Came from Venus
  • Rockstar

And more!

We’re barely scraping the surface here. You’ll want to look through their slots yourself to fully appreciate all the titles you have to choose from.

You might already have an idea as to what slots you like to play. In case you don’t, though, here are some of the slots we’d play first:

  • Hellboy – The movies are fun and, while we haven’t read the comics, we have seen the art (awesome!).
  • Hitman – We’ve played the games and watched the movies.
  • Victorian Villains – We’re just fans of stories from this era.
  • Jekyll & Mr. Hyde – Same idea as above, plus we like monster stories.
  • Tomb Raider – We’ve seen the movies. And who hasn’t played the original game on the PS1?
  • Attack of the Zombies – Because zombies.

If none of those appeal to you, that’s alright – there are plenty of slots to choose from. We’d be shocked if you couldn’t find a handful of slots machines, or more, that you enjoy playing.

There’s one other thing we want to point out before we move on, and that’s their 3D slots. Betsoft has had some issues the past year or two, but you can’t deny how much fun their games are to play.

We’ve played both Under the Bed and Madder Scientist. Both games remind us of video games or of Pixar movies. They’ve got great graphics, fun intros and cutscenes, and their themes bleed into every aspect of the game. Even between spins and during bonus rounds.

We highly recommend you check them out.

Overall, you’ll find all sorts of options here. They offer all kinds of slot themes, as well as slots with features, free spins, wilds, bonus rounds and more.

Stakes will vary, of course. But you can play for as little as $0.01 per line. We’ve seen machines that peak at $100 and $200, but don’t be surprised if you find machines with higher maxes than that.

Our one complaint we have is that they don’t have many filters. Your options include slot type, alphabetical or software provider.

These are helpful, sure. But with hundreds of slot machines to wade through, they can do a better job of helping us narrow our searches.

If they added filters like theme, features and stakes, we’d have a hard time finding anything wrong with this section.

Banking Options

Here are the banking options you can use to fund your account and cash out your winnings.

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • Instadebit
  • iDebit
  • Paysafecard
  • EcoPayz
  • Bank Transfer
  • Neosurf

You can use all these to cash out EXCEPT for MasterCard, iDebit, Paysafecard and Neosurf. Payouts can take anywhere from a couple minutes to 3-5 business days to complete.

The minimum deposit is $10.

There doesn’t appear to be any cash out fees. However, if you don’t roll your deposit over at least 1 time, they say they reserve the right to charge a 10% processing fee.

The max you can cash out each week is $10,000 (in your currency). Limits suck, but this is higher than most casinos who impose weekly cash out limits. Progressive jackpots are excluded, too, which makes their limits even more tolerable.

Bonus Promotions

There are several offers running at Casino-Mate. Here are the details behind each one.

  • Welcome Offer – When you join Casino-Mate and make a deposit, you’ll be eligible to receive a bonus worth $1,400 plus 80 free spins. The bonus is broken up into bite-sized pieces over your first four deposits.

Here’s what that looks like:

  • 1st Deposit – 100% up to $200 + 20 spins
  • 2nd Deposit – 50% up to $300 + 20 spins
  • 3rd Deposit – 50% up to $400 + 20 free spins
  • 4th Deposit – 50% up to $500 + 20 free spins

What’s neat about the free spins is that there’s no rollover. Any money you win using them is yours to keep.

However, the playthrough on the welcome offer is 50x and 100 bets. This applies to any offer that has a 100% match or higher, too.

All you need to do to get started on this offer is make a deposit of at least $20.

  • Make Money Mondays – Make a deposit on Monday and Casino-Mate will match it 40% up to $100. Just make a deposit of $250 to claim the entire thing. The playthrough on this offer is 40x.
  • Money Match Maker – Make the min $20 deposit and you can get a 35% match bonus up to $70. This offer has a 40x playthrough. You can only claim this offer on Tuesdays.
  • Surging Bonus Booster – You have two different options here. You can make a deposit of $20 or more and get a 25% match bonus. Or, you can deposit $150 or more and get a 50% match bonus. This offer is available every Wednesday and has no cap.
  • Weekend Hero – Complete each mission and receive a bonus. You can receive a 30% to 65% match bonus by making a deposit of $20-$100. You can claim this offer every Friday and Saturday.
  • Hidden Spin Sundays – Casino-Mate has hidden 5,000 no deposit spins behind three of their slot machines. They give you a chance to find them in their Hidden Spin Sunday’s promotion. Once you find the machine hiding the free spins, they will activate automatically.

Only the first 300 players will get the free spins, so you’ll need to move fast.

And… that wraps it up for their main offers. They also have a VIP program, though, which they call Club Mate. Let’s look at that next.

  • Club Mate – This program is by invitation only. To be considered, they say you need to blow them away with your gaming loyalty.

You can roll your eyes now.

Sarcasm aside, Club Mate does come with perks. For example, as a member you can enjoy:

  • Exclusive promos, bonuses and deals
  • Larger withdrawal limits
  • Expedited cash outs
  • Dedicated VIP host
  • Special one-off welcome VIP bonus

And more!

Pretty standard stuff.

Too bad they don’t have a cashback or VIP program for non-fancy-pants people. For regular folk. Everyone else should have some sort of extra incentive, like points for cash.

We sent them an email to ask if they had a points program that maybe they we were hiding from the public. We were especially suspicious, as we had seen other review sites say that Casino-Mate has one.

Unfortunately, they say they do NOT have one. That just goes to show how outdated some of these casino reviews are, doesn’t it?

Anyway, Casino-Mate has limited time deals, too. For example, whenever they release a new slot, you can get free spins by making the minimum deposit.

So, overall, they’ve done a good job with their promotions. While we’d like to see them add more information to their promotions page or add more incentives, what they have is enough.

Mobile Friendliness

Casino-Mate Casino Screenshot from iPhoneMobile users will have no problems playing at Casino-Mate. They have a mobile-friendly, browser-based casino.

You don’t need to download anything. All you got to do is go to their casino from your web browser and you can play their games on your phone.

Their mobile casino is laid out well and is easy to navigate. On their home page, you’ll find most, if not all the games you’re able to play.

The exception is their slots, as there’s far too many to list.

They cover the bases well as far as game availability goes. You’ll find blackjack, video poker, roulette, slots (including their 3D slots), and lots more.

Casino-Mate say they support iOS, Android and Blackberry. Based on our past experience, if a casino is compatible with Blackberry, then it’s usually compatible with Windows devices, too.

It’ll only take a a few minutes for Windows mobile users to figure that out on their own, though.

Customer Support

You can reach Casino-Mate using one of the following options:

Envelope
PHONE: 1800 006 285
LIVE CHAT

We were surprised to see that they offer phone support. There are plenty of big name brands that don’t even do this. Here’s a big tip of the hat to them.

We emailed them once and received their response in under an hour, which is more than reasonable.

They answered our question thoroughly, so no follow up was needed.

Their support gets two thumbs up from us.

Conclusion – Casino-Mate

There you have it. That’s Casino-Mate.

We’re happy with what we found overall.

They have loads of games to play that are compatible with both laptops and most mobile devices.

They also have several bonuses, which means you have a good reason to come back often (in case their games aren’t enough).

Casino-Mate offers phone support, too. You just don’t see this very often nowadays.

And, sure, there are things they can do better or add to their casino. For example, they don’t have live dealer games. We’d also like to see a regular VIP program available to everyone, not just their high spenders.

But those are minor things to complain about. You can find live dealer games anywhere. In fact, there’s nothing stopping you from signing up somewhere else for live dealer games. Then you can sign up here for everything else.

The point is – once you get rid of those complaints, there’s really no reason not to check Casino-Mate out. In fact, we recommend you do.

I’ve been a vip at casinomate for a few years now and I have to say they have ruined what was maybe the best online casino.
Removed the best game providers and replaced with rubbish,
Return to player mst be down around 40% from what used to be 96%
Most chat host are rude and offer little to no help.
To be honest I would own a Ferrari if I dedicated my playing to playamo the same as I have with these pirates
