Pink Casino Review

It’s probably no surprise to you that Pink Casino is geared toward women. If you take even a quick peek at the website, you’re immersed in a cloud of girly pink. It’s gimmicky, but it seems to work. Pink Casino has been accepting bets since 2012 and has built up a loyal player following. It offers an appealing overall service from the more than 400 games to the fee-free banking and the new player incentives that include both a no-deposit offer as well as a deposit-matching bonus. In January of 2018, the Pink Casino was part of a deal that moved it from its previous IPS ownership to under the LeoVegas Group umbrella. LeoVegas is a well-established casino and now group of betting sites that emphasizes mobile platforms. It’s premised on plenty of games regardless of whether you’re sitting at your PC or you’re pulling out your smartphone in a café. In our review, we’re taking a comprehensive look at the entire Pink Casino service as it stands today. We start with the terms and conditions and move on to banking, bonuses, mobile access, user-friendliness, and, of course, the games, and evaluate each of them separately. From there, we can provide you with an unbiased overall impression of Pink Casino, so you’re well-informed before you spin your first slot reels. Although Pink is primarily a slot casino, you’ll still have access to some video poker, table games, instant win selections, and a live casino suite provided by Evolution Gaming and NetEnt. You don’t need to love the color or even possess two “x” chromosomes to enjoy the Pink Casino experience. It has something for everyone.

Pink Casino’s Basic Information

Although Pink Casino was launched back in 2012, its future is looking very bright, as it was part of an acquisition package made by the prominent Swedish group LeoVegas in early ‘18.

LeoVegas

The LeoVegas Group, including its premier LeoVegas site, builds on a mobile-first premise. It uses a Bede Gaming platform and stays at the forefront of the technology world. LeoVegas was established in 2011 and has experienced steady profit increases. The fourth quarter of 2017 reflected a 49% gain from that of the previous year.

Other Acquisitions

In January of 2018, LeoVegas purchased Intellectual Property and Software Limited (IPS). Not only was IPS behind Pink Casino, but also a whole host of other casino betting services, including Bet UK, Slot Boss, UK Casino, and 21.co.uk. LeoVegas has also recently secured a few bingo sites, as well as Royal Panda. The group is moving forward aggressively but making wise moves along the way. Pink and its sister operations were already experiencing growth of their own, so it should be a win-win all around.

Changes

Prior to the LeoVegas acquisition, Pink Casino was already at the forefront of the mobile casino movement. Nearly all of its gaming options have been available on smartphones and tablets. Today, the numbers still match up as well, as the casino provided over 400 games, and it’s still maintaining those numbers. While the mobile site is big, bright (and very pink), and includes the majority of the slot catalog, it is lacking sorting functions and organization. All of the games are rolled into one, so you have to scroll through the entire list to find a table game or video poker title. We don’t have a crystal ball here, but we would assume that LeoVegas’ focus on an optimal mobile experience would prompt some upgrades for Pink’s smartphone and tablet users.

Licensing and Regulation

Pink Casino still retains its coveted UK Gambling Commission certification, as British and Irish players are Pink’s target demographic. For everyone else, there is the oversight by the Malta Gaming Authority.

Restricted Locations

There’s quite an extensive list of restricted locations that are outlined in Pink’s terms and conditions. Americans are not allowed to use the service. Other prohibited countries include the following:
  • Australia
  • Belgium
  • Canada
  • China
  • Finland
  • France
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Russia
  • South Africa
If you live outside of the UK, you’ll want to check out the terms and conditions first and review all of the restrictions, as there are more than a hundred.

The Casino

Without a doubt, Pink’s focus is on slots. There are 370 of them, including 28 jackpot options. As there’s a variety of software providers used, including the big guys like IGT, NetEnt, and Microgaming, dedicated players should be able to find most of their favorites.

Popular Titles

There are brick-and-mortar crossovers like Cleopatra and Da Vinci Diamonds. TV fans will appreciate Baywatch, Family Guy, and Jeopardy. If you prefer big-screen adaptations, you’ll find some like Ghostbusters, Planet of the Apes, Ted, and The Naked Gun.

Multiple Software Providers

To appeal to more players and their preferences, it’s always wise to use as many game designers as possible, and Pink Casino lists 19 companies on their roster. The casino and live casino combination is courtesy of Bally, Barcrest, Bede, NetEnt, IGT, Microgaming, Games Warehouse, Realistic Gaming, Core Gaming, Red Tiger, Blueprint Gaming, iSoftBet, Eyecon, Scientific Games, OpenBet, WMS, Ainsworth, High Games, and Evolution Gaming.

Demo Play

As long as you’re on the primary site, using your PC or laptop, you can find something to play based on preferences like table games, slots, and live casino. If you use your mobile device, you can pull everything up alphabetically, but it’s currently not possible to isolate the table games from the slots or vice versa. You may appreciate the demo play option that’s available and easy to access. Once again, it’s a straightforward process on the full website. When you review the games, you’ll see three buttons. One is for game information, and the others are your choices of “demo play” or “play now (for real money).” But the mobile site doesn’t offer those three features. Instead, you get the choice of “register now” or “play now.”

Table Games

As we said, Pink is more of a slot-players casino, but that doesn’t mean that others are left out in the cold. If you click on table games, you’ll get a combination of table and video poker titles. Table games may not be plentiful, as there are only 14 options, but they do include a few of the more custom options like Monopoly Roulette and Three Card Brag. Blackjack and roulette make up the most prominent sections. But if you’re looking for craps or more poker games like Stud or Hold ‘em, you’re out of luck unless you head to a live dealer table.
  • Blackjack: Perfect Pairs
  • Player’s Suite Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Classic Blackjack Gold Series
  • Three Card Brag
  • Three Wheel Roulette
  • Blackjack Multi-Hand
  • Roulette European
  • Baccarat
  • Blackjack
  • Key Bet Roulette
  • Double Bonus Spin Roulette
  • Monopoly Roulette
  • Triple Bonus Spin Roulette

Video Poker

Don’t be fooled because you don’t see a menu item explicitly calling out video poker, as these games are included at the bottom of the table games list. Like the table games, the video poker options are few, as there are only eight. What we do appreciate, though, is the creativity in the choices. Pink’s video poker is not your standard Jacks or Better or other one-hand standards. Instead, you’ve got multi-hands and Ultimate X Poker. Ultimate X is a favorite of players in brick-and-mortar casinos but isn’t commonly found online. Each game requires a higher bet, but random multipliers pop up that could double, triple, or even multiply the current hand’s winnings up to ten times.
  • Ten Play Draw Poker
  • Five Play Draw Poker
  • Triple Play Draw Poker
  • Ultimate X Poker Ten Play
  • Ultimate X Poker Five Play
  • Ultimate X Poker Triple Play
  • Bonus Poker

Slots

The spotlight is on slots, and it needs to be a big light, as there are almost four hundred of them and nearly all of them pop up on mobile devices as well. If you like to take the time to peruse all of your options, then you’ll have no problem scrolling through the hundreds of titles. They load quickly, and the graphics are bright and modern. But if you’re looking for some sorting capability, the site currently doesn’t offer it. There is a jackpots section and some featured games, but that’s the extent of it. Again, each of the slots can be played for fun if you’re on a PC or laptop. There are clickable buttons for all of your options that accompany every game.

Jackpot Slots

Although there are 28 games in the designated jackpots area, you may immediately observe that they’re not the big millionaire-makers with which you may be familiar. Even though Microgaming is used, its jackpots like Mega Moolah or Mega Moolah Isis are not included in this casino.

While there are only 13 games, many of these in the instant-win category are also featured in the jackpots section. If you’re not a fan of slots but appreciate the higher prizes they can provide, you may want to try some of the jackpot instant-win games like Grabba Dabba Dough or Beehive Bedlam.

Live Dealer Games

Evolution Gaming and NetEnt are combined to offer two unique live dealer suites. The live casino is only seven games full, though. Don’t expect to see some of the more unusual opportunities like Dream Catcher. But if you like to stick to the basics, you’re all set. You’ll also note that where the regular table games left off with poker options, Evolution has picked up the slack. Hold ‘em Poker is available with a minimum bet of only £0.50 and a maximum of £1,500. Live dealer games by Evolution Gaming:
  • Live Roulette
  • Live Blackjack
  • Live Baccarat
  • Live Poker
Live dealer games by NetEnt:
  • Live Roulette
  • Live Blackjack
  • Common Draw Live Blackjack

Bingo

Outside of the casino lobby, Pink hosts a separate bingo area. With virtual cards starting out as low as £0.03, if you enjoy bingo, you don’t need to invest a lot to have a good time in your choice of rooms. Granted, if you only spend 3p, you’re just looking for a £5 top prize. But increase your bet to £1, and you’re in the running for over a thousand. Pink Bingo opportunities include:
  • 90-Ball
  • 75-Ball
  • Speed Bingo
  • Daily Drop Pre-Buy
  • Grab a Grand

Banking Options

While the Pink Casino covers most of the essentials, it may not have enough for everyone. If you use a debit or credit card, you do have the Visa and Mastercard options. However, many players are fond of e-wallets like Skrill or Neteller, and they are not listed on the financial menu.

Minimums and Lack of Fees

All of the transactions are fee-free, and the minimum deposit, as well as the minimum withdrawal amount, is only £10. That’s a significant benefit for more conservative bettors who are in for fun and not for the high-stake opportunities. Everyone will need to be patient with the withdrawal process, though.

Reverse Withdrawals

There’s a two-day pending period, which does also allow for reverse withdrawals. Depending on how you feel about those, that’s either a benefit or a negative temptation. After the two days, there’s a three to five working day turnaround before you finally receive your winnings. That withdrawal policy is publicly posted, and you don’t need to be a registered player to review it. So, if a fast payout is essential, it’s something to keep in mind. You’ll probably be waiting a week or so at least.

Bonus Promotions

Pink Casino is structured slightly different from some competitors when it comes to the welcome bonuses that are offered. Many casinos will provide a standard welcome gift with a no-deposit bonus option that may only be available upon request. Pink allows for a no-deposit bonus plus a first-time deposit bonus. So, there are essentially two new player bonus options that can be claimed. From those options, there are even more decisions to be made, as there are three “no deposit” awards. The “free money” offers are a bit complicated and come with some extremely high rollovers, but they also feature winning multipliers. We know. It’s already a little confusing, isn’t it? We’ll try to detail it out for you, though, so you can pick the ones that suit your needs the best. Let’s start with the three no-deposit bonuses.
10X Wins on Your First 10 Spins
It’s important to note that, even though you don’t need to use your own money for these no-deposit offers, you still have to provide a valid debit or credit card and register a player’s account. So, keep that in mind. You can’t just provide your name and email and start spinning.

Bonus Credit

If you accept this particular offer, you get £1 in free play cash. We’ll repeat that so you know we didn’t make a mistake. You get £1 credited to your bonus balance. From that £1, you’ll be able to play ten rounds on selected slot games valued at 10p per game. So, you have ten chances to boost your balance.

Boosted

The good news is that you’ll get a winnings boost on those first ten spins. So, if you’re fortunate enough to win, the standard payout you would typically receive is multiplied by ten. That’s only for those free spins, though, so you’ve got to be lucky straight out of the gate. For example, let’s say you received a £1 payout on spin number two and a £.50 win on spin number ten. Instead of your credit balance reading £1.50, it would be multiplied ten times over to £15.

But Wait… There’s More!

You can’t cash out the £15 at this point. Bonuses come with wagering requirements (aka rollovers). In the case of this specific offer, your winnings will remain in your bonus balance and not your cashable account until you complete £990 in total wagers. Again, no typo here. That’s £990. After your ten spins, you no longer receive the ten-times boost. But you can wager higher if you’d like. You just can’t go over the £5 maximum bet that’s imposed on bonus wagering.

Monitor the Balance

While that’s a lot to keep track of, the casino does do the calculations for you. At any time, you can check on the status of your rollover as well as your bonus balance. If you ride the lucky wave and you keep building that bonus balance up and reach the £990 goal, your winnings will then move over to your cash balance, and up to £50 can be withdrawn.

Potential Payout

The £50 is the maximum allowable cashout on a Pink Casino free-money bonus. It doesn’t apply to the deposit match bonuses. It holds for the three “no deposit” options, though.
£5 Free Plus Double Wins
Since we went into such depth with the first no-deposit option, we’ll stick to the necessary details here. You should now have a good feel for the rollover formula, bonus vs. cash balance set-up, and maximum cash-out allowance. The £5 free is the second out of three no-deposit rewards available to brand new players. If you want to take advantage of a free play money reward, you’ll need to select one of the three. You can’t accept all of them.

Up to £5

For this particular award, you’re not limited to a specific stake as you are with the £1 bonus breaking down into 10p increments. You can play the £5 all at once or divide it up as you choose. Regardless of how you decide to play it, you’ll receive double payouts on anything you win up to the £5 total wagers. Keep in mind that if you win along the way and your bonus balance goes up, the double wins will cut off after you have staked a total of £5. Once again, you have to accomplish £990 in total bets before anything is transferred to your cash balance.
£10 Free
The third possibility is a flat £10 in free play cash with the same £990 goal. This particular bonus doesn’t include any multiplier, though. It’s straight betting of any denomination you choose up to £5 maximum per spin.

Welcome Bonus – Deposit Match of 100% up to £150

We’ve now arrived at the standard welcome bonus that you’ll be familiar with if you’ve played on other websites. A deposit match offer is typically provided to new players as a sign-up incentive. This particular 100% reward is available for your first deposit into Pink Casino. You can transfer in as little as £10 or as much as £150, and you’ll then receive matching funds in your bonus balance.

Rollover

Just like the no-deposit offers, there is a rollover that you need to meet. This reward comes with a 50 times requirement that applies to the bonus amount only. That is a key point. A 50 times playthrough may seem high to you, but many other casinos factor the deposit into their rollovers as well as the bonus. Then, they’ll impose something like a 30 times rollover, which is pretty standard.

Rollover Math

With that scenario, if you deposited £100 and accepted £100 and had a 30 times rollover elsewhere, you’d be liable for £200 (deposit + bonus) x 30X (rollover) = £6,000. If you use the same example of £100 at Pink Casino, the math works out as follows:
£100 (bonus only) x 50X (rollover) = £5,000
That’s not to say that £5,000 in required betting still isn’t a significant number. That 50 times isn’t any higher than the industry standard, though, when you compare the equations.

A Few Other Bonus Notes

We did already discuss the maximum £5 bet that’s imposed while you’re working off a bonus. But one other thing to keep in mind is that not all games will help you to meet your rollover.

Contribution Rates

Most standard slot games will provide at a 100% contribution rate. But you’ll want to be careful with titles like Thunderstruck 2 and Guns’ N Roses that only provide at a 50% rate. If you play Bruce Lee, Fortunes of Sparta, roulette, Three Card Brag, Gonzo’s Quest, roulette, or in the live casino, those games won’t help you at all.

Reading Is Fundamental

It’s always best to read through all of the terms and conditions before you commit to any bonus offer. It may seem like dry reading, but it’ll help you to make wise decisions and enable you to reap the most benefit from these types of reward programs.

One-Off Promotions

In addition to the ongoing no-deposit and deposit-match welcome offers, Pink Casino provides a list of other one-off and seasonal programs. You can find the most up-to-date listings in their promotions tab. But the following are a few of the types of value-added opportunities you can take advantage of as a registered Pink player:
  • Front Runner Free Spins
  • Ladies Day Losses Back
  • Big Race Bonus
  • First Past the Post Tournament
These are fun and can be valuable opportunities that enhance the overall experience. They include cashback programs and slot tournaments that keep players engaged and coming back for more.

VIP Club

While there aren’t many details on Pink’s VIP Club, the casino does promote that players are part of a loyalty club and should be receiving customized offers. These can range from extra bonuses to cashback offers and other special rewards along the way.

Mobile Friendliness

Pink Casino does offer apps for both Android and Apple devices as long as you live in a region that legally allows you to access them.

380 Games

An app isn’t necessary to gain access to nearly the full catalog of games, though. There are just over 400 casino possibilities in the entire website experience, and 380 if you use your mobile browser to pull up Pink Casino on your tablet or smartphone.

Mobile Organization

The mobile site is a close representation of the PC and laptop version in its style, but it’s organized much differently. Most of the information you’d be looking for will be available to you regardless of the equipment you’re using. However, the navigation is a bit clunky. Things are neatly categorized. We previously discussed the lack of casino menu items. All games are lumped together with table games, video poker, and even the live dealer tables all listed together. There is a search bar, but you’ll need to scroll through the entire list to locate your game of choice if you don’t know the specific title.

Mobile Materials

The mobile site does include things like registration, promotions, terms and conditions, and a comprehensive help section that players on the go will appreciate. It’s handy to have everything all in one place, and mobile users should be well accommodated.

Customer Support

Over the past few years, Pink Casino has established a reputation for having an excellent customer service department. Indeed, we’ve experienced helpful and extremely courteous interactions and would expect that to continue under LeoVegas’ watch. There are a few minor downsides to the service department, though. The first is that it doesn’t provide phone assistance. Your options are email or live chat. The other is that, although the department operates seven days a week, it has limited hours of 8 am to 12 am. With a 24-hour service being offered, it would be handy to have around-the-clock assistance available.

Responsible Gaming Assistance

Regardless of where you venture off to within the Pink Casino website, full or mobile, there’s a handy responsible gaming link available to you. The section is even more comprehensive than the regular FAQ area and is equipped with quick links, support groups and organizations, and other tools for anyone who has a gambling problem or feels like they may be getting in over their head. Pink Casino offers a deposit limit link that players can use at any time without having to wait for an agent to assist them. There’s also a strict timeout feature. If a player opts to use it, they are stringently denied access to the website for the designated period. We’ve come across some other online casinos that require customers to jump through hoops to limit their account or take a mandatory break. So, it’s refreshing to see that Pink Casino takes responsible gaming seriously.

Conclusion – Pink Casino

We conducted this review shortly after the ownership changed from IPS to LeoVegas, and the casino was relatively unchanged.
Pink Casino has traditionally been an above-average casino with plenty to keep players busy, including unique promotions and hundreds of gaming choices.
Most of the gaming possibilities show up in the mobile format as well as in the main casino. There are a few areas that could use a bit of tweaking to appeal to more players, though. Before we even get to the site itself, Pink Casino has a lengthy list of player exclusions. It’s a service that primarily caters to the United Kingdom, so a lot of potential customers are unable to give it a try. With its unique “casino for ladies” premise, we would think there would be a lot of people around the world who would be excited to give it a try. As far as the site itself, it would be helpful to see some additions to the banking menu. Some of those well-used e-wallets would be handy, like Skrill and Neteller. Bitcoin, ecoPayz, and some other location-specific methods would also enhance the overall program. The withdrawal process is also relatively long, especially compared to sites that are now starting to turn around payouts within one day. Waiting a week, or even more, can be frustrating when you’re excited to have your winnings in hand. As LeoVegas focuses on the mobile experience, we would expect to see some changes coming up in that area. The mobile casino would benefit from some organization and a more detailed menu with navigation links. It still does, though, offer most of the games, and they’re fast-loading and easy to use, which is the priority of gaming on the go. Aside from those few suggestions, Pink Casino is a fully transparent business. You can easily locate ownership, licensing and regulation and contact information. Pink uses some of the top casino game providers. If you take a peek at the menu of options, many should look familiar to you, as some are brick-and-mortar standards. While slots may reign supreme, there are still some fun and unique games for the table game, video poker, and instant-win players. If we’ve piqued your curiosity, it won’t cost you anything to give it a try. Pick one of the three “no deposit” bonuses. Maybe the “casino for ladies” is the casino for you!

I have recently joined Pink Casino. I was lucky enough to win £2000 and then shortly after another £1000 on slots. I requested to withdraw both amounts. I sent off my verification documents and carried on playing. I had a break for several hours then went back to the site to sign in. I found I had been blocked. I was unable to sign in. It came up as “error” each time I attempted to sign in. As yet i have not had any responses to my emails and now worry that I wont receive my withdrawals. I have had no explanation as to why I am unable to sign back in. I have not gone over my deposit limits and never play with bonus money.
I am dissapointed to be treated like this as I really enjoyed playing on the site.
