Third Round College Football Playoff Odds
The following odds for the third round of the CFP were provided by Lucky Rebel.
| Matchup | Moneyline | Points Spread | Bet Now |
|---|---|---|---|
| #10 Miami vs. #6 Ole Miss | #10 Miami (-176) vs. #6 Ole Miss (+144) | #10 Miami -3.5 (-105) | Bet now! |
| #5 Oregon vs. #1 Indiana | #5 Oregon (+154) vs. #1 Indiana (-190) | #1 Indiana -4.0 (-107) | Bet now! |
The Semifinals open with an unlikely 10 vs. 6 matchup. #10 Miami pulled off back-to-back upsets over #7 Texas A&M and #2 Ohio State, the defending National Champions, to secure its spot. Those upsets have the Hurricanes as a 3.5-point favorite over #6 Ole Miss.
Then on Friday, the #5 Oregon Ducks look for revenge against #1 Indiana. The Hoosiers beat the Ducks in Eugene in October, handing Oregon its only loss of the season. Indiana is a 4.0-point favorite in the rematch this week.
Lucky Rebel has offered competitive odds throughout the CFP, and that is still the case for round three. Check out our Lucky Rebel review to learn more about what makes this site the best place to wager on college football.
Best CFP Picks for Round 3
Here is a closer look at the best bets for the CFP Semifinals this week.
Straight Up/ML Pick
As their ranking suggests, #1 Indiana is the clear best team in college football this season. The Hoosiers proved their worth in the Quarterfinals with a 38-3 beatdown of #9 Alabama.
With the victory, Indiana became the first team in the 12-team CFP format to win a game after having a first-round bye. They also secured their spot as the favorite in the latest National Championship betting odds.
Indiana is a -190 favorite for their Round 3 matchup with #5 Oregon. When these teams met in October, the Hoosiers took down then-#3 Oregon 30-30 in Eugene. Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza only had 215 passing yards in the win, but Elijah Sarratt racked up 121 receiving yards on eight catches.
Oregon has reeled off eight straight wins since then, including a 23-0 shutout win over #4 Texas Tech last week.
This should be a defensive battle, which favors Indiana. The Hoosiers have shut down the best offenses in the country this season, and they will come through again this week with another win over the Ducks.
Best ATS Picks
#6 Ole Miss opens the Semifinals with a matchup against #10 Miami. Despite being the higher seed, the Rebels are getting 3.5 points this weekend.
Miami has already taken down two SEC teams in the playoffs, and the Hurricanes’ ability to win the line of scrimmage is a big reason why. Ole Miss is playing with house money and just shocked SEC Champion Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. If they keep playing freely, the Rebels can cover the spread against Miami this week.
#1 Indiana is laying 4.0 points against the Ducks in their rematch this week. As mentioned above, I think the Hoosiers will pull off the sweep on Friday.
In their first meeting, the Hoosiers beat Oregon by 10 on the Ducks’ home field. This is a neutral-site game, which could give Indiana an even bigger advantage. The Hoosiers will win and cover against Oregon in the Peach Bowl.
Top CFP Upset Pick
Miami and Ole Miss were both underdogs in the CFP Round 2 odds. After impressive performances in the first two rounds, one of these underdog stories will end this week.
The Rebels are +144 moneyline underdogs in the updated CFP odds. Ole Miss took down a battle-hardened Georgia team that had just earned a significant win in the SEC title game. The Hurricanes’ win over Ohio State was also impressive, but many have questioned the Buckeyes’ strength of schedule this season.
Miami has been on an unbelievable run after barely making the CFP this season. However, that run will end on Thursday against the Rebels.
Ole Miss has a better offense than Miami. If the Rebels can block the Hurricanes’ defense well enough to execute, the Rebels will pull off another upset this week and advance to the CFP title game.
Top College Football Playoff Prop Bets
The top college football betting sites also have exciting player props for the third round of the CFP.
Kewan Lacy led Ole Miss this season with 23 rushing TDs. However, with Miami’s defense focused on shutting down Lacy, the latter’s teammates must step up. De’Zhaun Stribling, who led the Rebels with six receiving TDs, is listed at +205 odds to score a TD this week against the Hurricanes.
Oregon’s Kenyon Sadiq, the top TE prospect in the 2026 draft, is also in a position to shine this week. Sadiq is available at +185 odds to score against Indiana. He was held to just two catches for 21 yards in their first meeting, but Sadiq will have a better performance this time around, finding the endzone at least once versus Indiana.
For the Hoosiers to beat the Ducks again, they need Mendonza to have a great game. Mendonza is listed at +125 odds to have 225+ passing yards this week. He hit that mark six times this season, and Mendoza will do it again on Friday against Oregon.
