Best TNF Prop Bet: Josh Jacobs Over 58.5 Rushing Yards (-113)

Lucky Rebel has Packers RB Josh Jacobs listed at over/under 58.5 rushing yards for Thursday’s matchup against the Panthers. Jacobs returned on Sunday from a six-week stint on the commissioner’s exempt list. 

He only had 36 yards on 11 carries in his return to the field in Week 7. He was much more productive as a receiver, catching five passes for 55 yards and a touchdown. 

Jacobs should be ready to carry more of the load in his second game of the year. Also, the Panthers’ defense is much easier to run on than the Lions’. 

For comparison, Detroit has held opponents to 99.2 rushing yards per game, the 12th-fewest in the league. Carolina has allowed the most, giving up 153.2 rushing YPG, as well as a league-high 5.2 yards per carry. 

Even on a short week, the massive drop in competition should let Jacobs top 60 yards on the ground this Thursday.

Lamar Jackson 250+ Passing Yards (+115)

Lamar Jackson has missed the last three games with an ankle sprain, but he is practicing and expected to return on Sunday. The lingering injury could limit Jackson’s mobility, though, forcing him to stay in the pocket and throw more.

Jackson is listed at +115 odds to have 250+ passing yards against Buffalo on Sunday. 

The good news for Jackson is that the Bills have been horrible against the pass this year. Buffalo has allowed 285.8 passing YPG this season, the second-most in the NFL. They have also given up 15 passing TDs, tied for the fourth-most in the league. 

Jackson may not be an effective runner this week, but he should dice up a porous Bills’ passing defense and hit 250+ yards through the air. 

Ollie Gordon II Over 62.5 Rushing Yards (-113)

Miami has one of the league’s worst overall offenses this season. The Dolphins have managed 293.5 total YPG (6th-fewest) and 16.3 PPG (3rd-fewest). 

One of the few bright spots on Miami’s offense this year is its running game, which ranks seventh in the NFL with 131.55 rushing YPG. Ollie Gordon II has assumed the RB1 role and has 88+ rushing yards in three straight games. 

Gordon II has rushed for 100+ yards twice in his last three starts. 

Oddsmakers have Gordon II at over/under 62.5 rushing yards this week against a Patriots defense that allows only 95.3 rushing YPG. Even against a tough defense, running the ball is Miami’s only reliable offensive option. Gordon II is unlikely to hit triple digits this week, but he should go over 62.5 yards on Sunday. 

T.J. Hockenson Over 39.5 Receiving Yards (-117)

T.J. Hockenson and the Vikings are underdogs in the latest Week 8 odds as they take their undefeated record to Detroit. Minnesota’s offense has struggled this year, gaining just 281.7 total YPG. 

Hockenson is listed at over/under 39.5 receiving yards against his former team. He is averaging 39.5 YPG this season, but most of his 237 receiving yards came against Miami. Hockenson caught all 13 of his targets for 119 yards against the Dolphins. 

He could be poised for another above-average game this week against the Lions. Detroit has allowed over 100 receiving YPG to TEs this season. They have also allowed 10 receiving TDs and 10.75 yards per reception to TEs this year. 

Best Week 8 NFL Game Prop Bets

Arizona Cardinals Over 23.5 Points (-117)

Arizona has averaged 20.3 PPG this year, but the Cardinals are listed at over/under 23.5 points for this week’s game against the Cowboys. Dallas has the ninth-worst scoring defense, allowing 25.7 PPG. 

The Cardinals have an even worse scoring defense, giving up a league-high 29.7 PPG. With two bad defenses facing off, this should be a high-scoring game. 

Arizona needs to feed TE Trey McBride early and often in this matchup. McBride leads the team with 472 receiving yards and is averaging 8.4 receptions per game, and Dallas has allowed 9.06 YPR to TEs this year. A big day from McBride will help the Cardinals score over 23.5 points on Sunday. 

Tennessee Titans Over 17.5 Points (-108)

The Titans had one of the league’s worst offenses to start the year. Tennessee scored just 58 points in its first five games, averaging just over 11 points per contest. Cam Ward and company have scored 50 points over the last two weeks, though, and could top 20 points again this week. 

Tennessee’s success has come from a resurgent running game. The Titans have gained 225 rushing yards over the last two games. Their 112.5 YPG average over that span is significantly better than the 82.6 rushing YPG Tennessee averaged in its first five games. 

Cincinnati has allowed 116.3 rushing YPG and 4.7 YPC this season. If Tennessee leans on its running game again, the Titans should score over 17.5 points (-108) this weekend. 

Jacksonville Jaguars -3.5 in the 1st Half (-165)

Jacksonville is looking for its 12th straight home win over Indianapolis this weekend. The Jaguars were heavily favored, and the line has shifted even more toward Trevor Lawrence and Co. after the Colts’ recent trades. 

So far this week, the Colts have traded six-time All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson and two-time All-Pro defensive tackle DeForest Buckner. 

The Jaguars have been one of the NFL’s fastest-starting teams in 2026. Jacksonville averages 13.7 points in the first half this season, the fifth-most in the league. 

Indy is not far behind at 13.0 PPG in the first half. However, the Colts will struggle to keep up this week if they cannot run the ball against a Jags defense that has only allowed a league-low 72.2 rushing YPG. Their strong run defense and rest advantage make the Jaguars a good bet to cover 3.5 points in the first half. 

Browns vs. Steelers: Both Score 17+ Points (+145)

Cleveland and Pittsburgh face off for first place in the AFC North. The Browns beat Pittsburgh 27-24 when they met on Thursday Night Football in Week 4. 

Oddsmakers have both teams scoring 17+ points this week at +145 odds. 

Pittsburgh (21.9 PPG) and Cleveland (19.0 PPG) are both averaging over 17 points scored per game this season. Their defenses have also both allowed more than 17 PPG this season. The Steelers allow 19.7 PPG, and the Browns have given up 20.9 PPG. 

Also, the Steelers have averaged 28 PPG at home this year, scoring 30+ in two of their three home games. Cleveland has struggled on the road, but it is averaging 18.0 PPG in away games this year.
