BetOnline NFL Survivor Contest

Icon of football
  • Entry fee: $30
  • Prize pool: $500,000
  • Maximum number of entries: 25

BetOnline offers one of the largest survivor contests for the 2026 season. Contestants can compete for their share of the $500,000 prize this season.

If entries exceed expectations, the additional funds will be put into the prize pool.

The entry fee for this contest starts at $30, but you can save money by buying in bulk.

  • 1st entry = $30
  • 2nd – 10th entries = $25 each
  • 11th – 25th entries = $20 each

Also, if you register and buy three tickets before August 30th, you will get a free contest entry via the Early Bird promotion.

To win this contest, you must survive up to 19 weeks of action without making a wrong winner prediction. This season, BetOnline is counting the Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday games as their own week. If you have already used all 10 teams from those games, you will not be able to play that week and will be eliminated from the contest.

The $1 million prize will be split among any contestants who remain at the end of the regular season. Alternatively, if the lone survivor is identified before the season finale, they will take home their prize early.

MyBookie’s $100k Winner-Take-All

Icon of football
  • Entry fee: $15
  • Prize pool: $100,000
  • Maximum number of entries: 50

MyBookie is also offering an exciting, winner-take-all survivor pool for the 2026 NFL season. Entries cost $15 each, and the grand prize is worth $100,000.

There is no discount for buying in bulk, but the average entry price is lower than that of BetOnline. The lower entry price makes this contest more suitable for bettors with smaller bankrolls.

For instance, it would cost $555 to purchase 25 tickets, the maximum allowed, for BetOnline’s contest. Alternatively, you could bet 30 entries into MyBookie’s contest for just $450. Also, you can buy up to 50 entries into MyBookie’s survivor pool this season.

BetOnline $100,000 ATS Survivor

Icon of football
  • Entry fee: $20
  • Prize pool: $100,000
  • Maximum number of entries: 25

Moneyline picks are not the only way to compete in survivor pools this season. In addition to its $500,000 Survivor Contest, BetOnline is also offering a $100,000 ATS Survivor Pool. For this contest, instead of picking games straight up, you pick against the spread (ATS).

The entry tickets for this contest start at just $20, and you can purchase additional entries at a reduced cost.

  • 1st entry = $20
  • 2nd – 5th entries = $15 each
  • 6th – 25th entries = $10 each

For this survivor pool, you must pick one game against the spread for each week of the season. However, unlike the $500K contest, the Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday games are not treated as a separate week.

Every contestant who survives to the end of the season splits the $100,000 prize pool. The prize money for this contest does not have a rollover attached.

BetUS High Roller Survivor Pool

Icon of football
  • Entry fee: $500
  • Prize pool: Varies
  • Maximum number of entries: 2

BetUS has multiple options for survivor pools, with entries starting at just $10. However, there are no guaranteed prize pools, so for the biggest prizes, you must enter the $500 buy-in pools.

In addition to your initial entry, each player has one rebuy available for a limited time. However, in the event of a tie, contestants who did not use their rebuy will win over players who did. The last chance to use your rebuy is Week 8.

Members must have made at least one real-money deposit since March 1st, 2026, to be eligible to enter the contest.

The lack of a guaranteed prize pool knocked BetUS down on my list of the best survivor contests. However, this competition is an excellent choice for players who only want to manage one survivor pool ticket.

SportsBetting.ag’s $500,000 NFL Survivor Pool

Icon of football
  • Entry fee: $30
  • Prize pool: $500,000
  • Maximum number of entries: 25

SportsBetting’s $500,000 Survivor contest is another great option for chasing a guaranteed prize pool. It allows up to 25 entries, starting at $30. The more entries you buy, the less they cost.

Entry tickets for this contest range in cost from:

  • 1st ticket = $30
  • 2nd-10th tickets = $25 each
  • 11th-25th tickets = $20 each

Like BetOnline, SportsBetting is counting the five games on Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday as their own week. So, make sure you save at least one team from those matchups for this special week, or you will be eliminated from the contest.

Yahoo Survival Football Challenge

  • Entry fee: Free
  • Prize pool: N/A
  • Maximum number of entries: 1

For pure bragging rights among your friends, consider Yahoo’s Survival Football challenge. You can create private survivor pools for you and your friends to compete against each other.

Yahoo’s pools are free to use, but they also do not offer prize money.

These leagues also have more customization options than other pools on this list. For instance, you and your friends can decide whether players who pick a losing team get a second chance. This free version of survivor is an excellent option for football fans who have never played before.

SportsBetting.ag’s $100,000 ATS Survivor Contest

  • Entry fee: $20
  • Prize pool: $100,000
  • Maximum number of entries: 25

Rounding out my list of the top NFL Survivor contests in 2026 is SportsBetting’s $100,000 ATS contest. It is similar to BetOnline’s ATS contest in that you pick against the spread each week instead of picking winners straight up.

As with traditional survivor contests, you cannot pick the same team to cover more than once throughout the season.

Entry tickets start at $20, but the price decreases when you buy multiple.

  • 1st entry = $20
  • 2nd-5th entries = $15 each
  • 6th-25th entries = $10 each

Any remaining contests after Week 18 will split the $100,000 prize pool. If a game is canceled for any reason, both teams will be graded as losers for the purpose of this contest.

NFL Survivor Pool Tips and Strategies

Winning a season-long survivor pool is easier said than done. Here are some tips and strategy suggestions to help you win.

Save "Elite" Teams for Late in the Season

The key to Survivor is picking a winning team each week, but you cannot select the same team twice in a given season. With that in mind, it is essential not to exhaust the best teams early. Try to save the “elite” teams for late in the season, especially heavy bye weeks.

Buy Multiple Entries to Diversify Your Picks

When you can afford it, buying multiple entries into a survivor contest is almost always a good idea. Having more than one entry allows you to diversify your picks and increases your chances of surviving until the end of the season. This method prevents you from being eliminated from one upset in a given week.

Prioritize Guaranteed Prize Pools

First and foremost, prioritize guaranteed prize pools whenever possible. Winning a survivor pool takes a lot of effort, so it is best to know exactly how much money you are competing for. Otherwise, you risk winning a pool but earning significantly less money than you had previously thought.

Look for Deals on Entries

Another tip for NFL survivor pools is to find contests that offer reduced prizes for additional entries. As mentioned above, you want to purchase as many entries as you can afford to maximize your chances of winning. Finding sportsbooks that reward you for buying in bulk makes it easier to purchase multiple entries.

NFL Survivor Picks for Week 1

Icon of football
  • Las Vegas Raiders
  • Tennessee Titans
  • Dallas Cowboys

The Raiders are not expected to be a good team this year, but they face the Dolphins in the season opener. Miami stripped its roster to the studs this offseason and is projected to be in the running for the first overall pick. Picking the Raiders allows you to pick against a terrible team without burning an elite team early in the season.

Tennessee is in a similar situation to Las Vegas. The Titans are unlikely to be playoff contenders, but hosting the Jets in Week 1 gives Tennessee a great chance to start the year off with a win. The Jets, like the Dolphins, are expected to be in the running for the first pick at the end of the season.

Dallas attempted to rebuild midseason in 2025 but finished with a 7-9-1 record. Last season was rough at times, but the Cowboys have consistently beaten the Giants for the better part of the last decade. Dak Prescott, for reference, is 14-3 against the G-Men in his career.

How to Win at NFL Survivor in 2026

NFL survivor pool contests task bettors with picking a winning team each week. One misstep and your ticket is eliminated. See the guide above to learn more about these competitions, including strategy and general tips for NFL survivor contests.

BetOnline is the top place for competing in NFL survivor pools this season. It offers two contest formats, moneyline and ATS, for members to choose from.
