NFL prop bets are a quick and easy way to get in on the action in Week 17. This week’s schedule includes three Christmas games and a Saturday doubleheader with massive playoff ramifications.

Continue reading to see the best NFL prop wagers available in Week 17. I highlight my top player and game prop bets across the NFL this week and give tips for betting on Week 17’s most anticipated matchups.

Top NFL Player Props for Week 17

Lucky Rebel has exciting player props for every game this week. Here are my top player prop wagers for Week 17.

Check out our NFL Christmas Day odds breakdown for more player props available this week.

Omarion Hampton (HOU) Anytime TD Scorer (+125)

Omarion Hampton’s return to the Chargers’ lineup immediately helped LA’s run game. The Chargers will need Hampton at his best this week with the Houston Texans (10-5) coming to town.

Houston has the best defense in the league, but they are coming off a rough showing in their 23-21 win last week. The Texans allowed rookie Ashton Jeanty to rack up 188 total yards and find the endzone twice.

Hampton hit his anytime TD scorer props in Week 16 and is an excellent bet to score again this week.

He has scored in two of his three games since returning from injury and has led the Chargers in rushing in back-to-back games. Hampton is listed at +125 odds to find the endzone this week against a Houston defense that has allowed 13 total TDs to running backs this season.

AJ Barner (SEA) Anytime TD Scorer (+205)

Seattle’s AJ Barner is another excellent option in anytime TD scorer markets this weekend. Barner is listed at +205 to score this week against the Panthers.

The Panthers have been good against tight ends this season, only allowing five TDs to the position all season. However, Carolina will be focused on stopping Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who leads the NFL with 1,637 receiving yards this season.

Barner has been a reliable alternative when JSN is covered. He is third on the team in targets (62) and receiving yards (462). Barner is also second on the Seahawks in receptions (47) and tied for second with five TD catches.

Seattle is coming off an emotional OT win over the Rams and had extra time to prepare after their TNF win. With the defense focused on JSN, Barner will find the endzone at least once in Charlotte.

Saquon Barkley (PHI) 1st Half TD Scorer (+230)

After a rough first three months, Saquon Barkley has looked every bit the reigning Offensive Player of the Year over the last three games. Barkley has racked up 346 scrimmage yards and three TDs over the last three games.

Buffalo’s struggles against the run make Barkley a great bet to get his fourth TD in as many games this week. He is listed at +105 in anytime TD scorer markets, but you can get +230 odds if you wager on Barkley to score in the first half.

The Bills have allowed 24 rushing TDs this season, the most in the NFL. They also lead the league with seven rush attempts of 40+ yards allowed.

A weak Bills run defense will struggle to stop Barkley from the jump. Barkley will not only score but find the endzone at least once in the first half.

Best Week 17 NFL Game Prop Bets

Top NFL betting sites also have great game props for the best Week 17 matchups.

Cardinals vs. Bengals – Both Teams Score 24+ (+161)

Cincinnati has one of the league’s best offenses, but its porous defense has held the Bengals back yet again this season. Likewise, the Cardinals’ defense has struggled to stop anybody this season, forcing Arizona to throw early and often.

Both teams rank in the top 10 for passing YPG this season. However, they are also both in the bottom five for points allowed this season.

This game should be a shootout, and the over/under is listed at 53.5 points. Cincinnati has scored 24+ points in three of its last four games since Joe Burrow returned. Arizona has struggled to score, but has had no issue moving the ball, and will have an easier time punching the ball in against the Bengals.

With that in mind, I think both the Bengals and the Cardinals scored at least 24 points this week.

Jaguars Over 3.5 TDs Scored (+145)

Jacksonville is coming off arguably the best win of the year, taking down the Broncos in Denver. The Jaguars can clinch the AFC South title this week by securing the season sweep of the Colts.

Trevor Lawrence and company have scored 25+ points in eight straight games. The Colts, on the other hand, have allowed 30+ points in two of their last three games.

When these teams met in Week 14, the Jags scored four TDs in their 36-19 win. They are listed at +145 odds to have over 3.5 TDs again this week.

Indianapolis is coming off a short week after being blown out 48-27 on Monday Night Football by the 49ers. With a division title on the line, the Jaguars will not overlook the slumping Colts. Jacksonville should win and find the endzone at least four times on Sunday.

Steelers Under 3.5 Points in the 1st Quarter (-176)

Pittsburgh defeated Detroit in unforgettable fashion, but it came at a cost. DK Metcalf was suspended for the final two games of the season after his interaction with a Lions fan during the game.

The Steelers’ offense will struggle without its top wide receiver. Cleveland has a great defense, especially when the Browns are playing at home. Myles Garrett and company have plenty of motivation to beat the Steelers and potentially prevent them from clinching the AFC North.

Garrett is also chasing the sack record and would love to break it against his division rival.

Pittsburgh has gone 65 straight games without scoring more than seven points in the first quarter. Recently, they have struggled to get into the endzone at all in the opening frame. The Steelers are listed at -176 to have under 3.5 points in the first quarter against the stout Cleveland defense.

Saints Score 10 Points First (-150)

The Saints put their three-game winning streak on the line this week against the Titans (3-12) in Nashville. Both teams are in line for a top 10 pick, but the Saints have quietly been one of the hottest teams so far in December.

New Orleans has scored 20+ points in every game of its winning streak. Tennessee has also hit a hot streak, winning two of its last three, but it has also given up a lot of points. The Titans have allowed 403 points this year, the seventh-most in the league.

Tyler Shough and company are available at -150 odds to score 10+ points first against the Titans. With momentum on their side, New Orleans is a great bet to start hot against Tennessee.

Dolphins Over 10.5 Points in the 1st Half (+118)

Miami is already looking ahead to next season, and it has two games left to evaluate its current roster. On the bright side, the Dolphins take on the Buccaneers this week.

Tampa Bay has lost seven of its last nine games, and the Bucs’ defense has been one of the worst in the NFL over that stretch. The Bucs have allowed over 25 PPG this season, the ninth-most in the league.

They have been particularly vulnerable to the pass, as Tampa has allowed 242 passing YPG, the sixth-most in the NFL.

Miami is a run-first team, but De’Von Achane is no slouch as a receiver. A productive first half from Achane against a porous Bucs defense will help the Dolphins top 10.5 points before halftime this week.

Consider these betting trends and tips before making your NFL prop wagers this week.

Rest Between Games Matters

With five games before Sunday this week, rest will play a vital role in Week 17 outcomes. Teams on short rest tend not to play as well, and players battling injuries have less time to get healthy. You should account for a rest disadvantage and lineup changes before making your wagers.

Playoff Motivation, Pressure, and Spoilers

Some teams have already been eliminated from the playoffs, while others are still battling to clinch their spots. Teams whose seasons are still alive tend to be more motivated. However, some players do not handle that pressure well, and division rivals love nothing more than to spoil the playoff hopes of their most-hated foes.
