NFL Picks for Week 3 (2026)

Updated September 22, 2026
Indianapolis Colts running back carries the ball against the Kansas City Chiefs, with text reading “Week 3 NFL Picks.”

Are the Chiefs the safest NFL pick for Week 3? KC is the only team favored by double digits as Patrick Mahomes and company hit the road for the first time this season. Also, injuries to multiple QBs and star players shift the lines for many Week 3 matchups.

Keep reading for the latest odds on every game in Week 3. I break down my NFL predictions for every matchup and dissect the current odds for this week’s must-see games.

Top NFL betting sites have KC favored by 11.5 points on the road against the Dolphins. The Chiefs have scored 30+ points in both of their games so far thanks to huge performances from RB Kenneth Walker III.

Their current moneyline odds give the Chiefs (-900) an implied win probability of 90%.

Two teams, the Vikings and the Rams, are tied at -1.5 as the week’s smallest favorites. Minnesota and LA are both road favorites, too, and the Vikings have the chance to move to 3-0 to start the season.

Our Lucky Rebel review breaks down everything you need to know about this sportsbook and why it is the top place to bet on your NFL picks for Week 3.

Week 3 TNF Best Bet: Atlanta Falcons +6.0 (-108)

Icon of football
  • Michael Penix Jr. is returning as the Falcons’ QB, which should be an upgrade over Cooper Rush.
  • Green Bay needed overtime to beat the New York Jets and has allowed 28 PPG this season.
  • The Packers have averaged 64.5 rushing YPG, the fewest in the league through two weeks.

Week 3 kicks off in Green Bay with the Packers welcoming the Falcons to Lambeau. Jordan Love and the Packers are 6.0-point favorites in their home opener.

Green Bay lost in Week 1 after Minnesota scored 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. The Packers won in Week 2, but they needed overtime to beat the Jets 20-17. They have been outscored 39-20 in the last five quarters of play.

The Packers’ rushing attack has also been bad, racking up the fewest yards in the league (129) through two weeks.

Atlanta’s offense was virtually unwatchable in the first two weeks, totaling 16 points (fewest) and 524 total yards of offense (4th-fewest). The good news is that Michael Penix Jr. is set to return this week. Penix has not lived up to the billing of being a top-10 pick so far, but he should be an upgrade at QB over Cooper Rush, who was benched in Week 2.

With Penix under center against a Packers team that has struggled on both sides of the ball, I like Atlanta to cover the 6.0-point spread. They opened as 7.0-point underdogs, but the line shifted, so make sure you bet the spread soon before it fades even further.

Week 3 NFL Picks

Here are my favorite picks for Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season.

Best Week 3 NFL ML Picks (Straight Up)

Icon of football
  • Buffalo Bills (-330)
  • Cincinnati Bengals (-190)
  • Baltimore Ravens (-160)

Buffalo is 2-0 after racking up a league-high 77 total points in the first two weeks. The Bills welcome the Chargers to Buffalo this week and are -330 favorites. LAC is the most disappointing team so far this season, having lost back-to-back games as home favorites, and their offensive issues will continue on the road in front of a rowdy Buffalo crowd.

Cincinnati (2-0) is a -190 favorite in Pittsburgh against the Steelers (1-1). Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers offense have been predictably bad so far, scoring just 16 points, including only one touchdown, in two games. An improved Bengals defense and a Burrow-led offense averaging 26.5 PPG will beat Pittsburgh this week.

Baltimore is a -160 “road” favorite against the Cowboys this week in Brazil. Dallas has struggled against the run this season, allowing 173.5 YPG on the ground, the third-most in the NFL. I expect Derrick Henry to have a monster game and lead the Ravens to a win, Rio.

Week 3 NFL Picks ATS

Icon of football
  • New York Jets +6.5 (-108)
  • Minnesota Vikings -1.5 (-110)
  • Philadelphia Eagles -3.0 (-117)

The Jets fell short in their home opener, losing 20-17 in OT to the Packers. Geno Smith and company are 6.5-point underdogs this week against the Lions in Detroit. The Lions have allowed 71 points, the second-most in the league, and will struggle to cover a touchdown spread at home this weekend.

Minnesota (2-0) looks to continue its dominant defensive performance as it heads to Tampa Bay (0-2)this week. The Vikings are 1.5-point road favorites against the Bucs. Tampa’s offense has struggled to find a rhythm, and that will continue this Sunday against one of the NFL’s best defenses.

Philadelphia squeaked out a win against the Titans in Week 2 and is laying 3.0 points against the Bears this week. Chicago’s offense exploded for 59 points in Week 1 but lost 9-3 at home last week. QB Caleb Williams also hurt his hamstring, and the Bears will struggle to keep this game close if Williams is out for this Monday Night Football matchup.

Best Week 3 NFL Upset Picks

Icon of football
  • Indianapolis Colts (+122)
  • New England Patriots (+140)
  • Tennessee Titans (+145)

Indianapolis leads my upset picks this week at +122 for the Colts matchup against the visiting Texans. Both teams are 0-2, but the Texans offense could be without WR Nico Collins once again. If Collins is out, the Colts should win by giving Jonathan Taylor the ball early and often.

New England is a +140 road underdog ahead of the Patriots (1-1) matchup with the Jaguars (1-1) in Jacksonville. The Pats were undefeated on the road last year, and New England’s defense will be a tough test for Trevor Lawrence and company.

Tennessee is another underdog that I think will pull off the upset this week. The Titans are 0-2, but they get to face a Giants team without QB Jaxson Dart (MCL). New York is also playing on a short week and has to travel back from LA, opening the door for a Titans win.

NFL Week 3 Predictions

  • Packers (-280)
  • Bills (-330)
  • Panthers (-155)
  • Lions (-300)
  • Colts (+122)
  • Patriots (+140)
  • Chiefs (-900)
  • Titans (+145)
  • Bengals (-190)
  • Seahawks (-300)
  • 49ers (-400)
  • Vikings (-121)
  • Raiders (+155)
  • Ravens (-160)
  • Rams (-122)
  • Eagles (-180)

Carolina (-155) is a road favorite over the Browns in Cleveland this week. The Panthers have scored 71 points through two games, the second-most in the NFL, and lead the league with 312.5 passing YPG. If Cleveland’s defense cannot slow down Bryce Young and Co., then the Browns will not be able to keep up in their home opener.

Kansas City is the biggest favorite in Week 3, at -900 odds, against the Dolphins in Miami. The Chiefs have topped 30 points in both games so far, while Malik Willis and the Dolphins have scored a combined 26 points in their first two games. Another strong day on the ground from KW3 will lead KC to its third win in as many weeks.

Seattle is a -300 favorite over the Commanders in Week 3. The Seahawks could get QB Sam Darnold (hip) back this week, but even if they do not, they should beat a Washington team led by Marcus Mariota. Seattle’s dominant defense has allowed only 17 points this season, the 2nd-fewest in the league, and will shut down the Commanders on Sunday.
