Latest 2026 Eurovision Odds and Predictions

Finland leads the pack as the opening favorite to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Greece, Denmark, and Australia are also near the top of odds boards ahead of this year’s competition. 

I break down the latest 2026 Eurovision odds and the top contenders in the guide below. Also, I highlight the best Eurovision props and give my predictions for this year’s competition. 

Odds to Win Eurovision 2026

Greece is a distant second at 3-1 odds, followed by Denmark (5-1) and Australia (7-1). Denmark has won three times, most recently in 2013, while Australia is seeking its first win since joining Eurovision in 2015. France, seeking its first win since 1977, rounds out the top five at +800 odds.

Why is Finland Favored to Win Eurovision 2026?

It has been 20 years since Finland last won Eurovision, but it is a +125 favorite to take home the top prize this year at Eurovision betting sites. 

Finland will be represented by Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen, who are performing “Liekinheitin.” The song, which is in Finnish, was written by Lampenius, Parkkonen, Antti Riihimäki, Lauri Halavaara, and Vilma Alina Lähteenmäki. 

“Liekinheitin,” which translates to Flamethrower, won the right to represent Finland by winning the national final Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2026.

The song was released in January 2026 and has already achieved commercial success in Finland, reaching number one on the Official Finnish Singles Chart. 

More Top Eurovision Contenders for 2026

Finland is poised for a strong showing at Eurovision 2026, but it is not the only country going for the top spot. Greece, Denmark, and Australia are also near the top of the opening Eurovision Song Contest 2026 betting markets. 

Greece (+300)

Greece has the second-best odds to win Eurovision this year at 3-1 odds. The Greeks joined Eurovision in 1974, and their only win came in 2005 with “My Number One,” performed by Helena Paparizou. 

This year, Greece is entering the contest with Akylas’s “Ferto.” The song was written by Akylas, Orfeas Nonis, Theofilos Pouzbouris, and Thomas Papathanasis. 

A dance pop/techno hit, “Ferto” was released in February and reached number eight on the Greek Local Singles Chart. Greece finished eighth in Jury and Televoting last year, but its 231 combined points were good enough for sixth place. 

Denmark (+500)

Denmark is hoping to bounce back from a poor finish in Eurovision 2025. It finished with 45 Jury votes and 2 Televotes, for a final score of 47. Denmark was 23rd out of 26 countries to make it past the Semifinals. 

This year, Denmark’s entry is “Før vi går hjem,” which will be performed by Søren Torpegaard Lund. Lund wrote the song along with Clara Sofie Fabricius, Thomas Meilstrup, and Valdemar Littauer Bendixen. 

“Før vi går hjem,” or “Before we go home,” topped out at number four on the Danish Singles Chart. It was chosen as Denmark’s Eurovision song after winning the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026. 

Australia (+700)

Australia joined Eurovision in 2015, making it the country with the least amount of Eurovision experience. The Aussies missed the cut in last year’s Semifinals, finishing with 4 points, the most of any country in the second semis to not advance. 

Oddsmakers have Australia listed at +700 odds to win its first Eurovision title. 

Australia is entering “Eclipse” by Delta Goodrem. Released in March, “Eclipse” was written by Goodrem, Michael Fatkin, Jonas Myrin, and Ferras Alqaisi. It debuted at number 12 on the ARIA Top 20 Australian Artists Singles Chart and climbed to the top spot on the AIR Independent Singles Chart. 

Best Eurovision 2026 Sleepers

My top sleeper for Eurovision 2026 is Italy, which is available at +2200 odds. 

Italy is entering “Per sempre sì” by Sal Da Vinci. The song was written by Da Vinci, Alessandro La Cava, Eugenio Maimone, Francesco Sorrentino, Federica Abbate, Federico Mercuri, and Giordano Cremona. 

“Per sempre sì,” or “Forever Yes,” reached number two on the Italian singles chart. It is Da Vinci’s highest-charting single on the Italian charts of his career. 

The disco/funk song promotes a theme of universal love and has charted internationally. It reached 11th on the Croatia International Airplay, 16th on Malta Airplay, and 21st on Schweizer Hitparade in Switzerland. The song also certified gold with over 100,000 copies sold since its release in late February. 

Top Eurovision 2026 Prop Bets

Four of the last five Eurovision winners topped 500 points. Austria easily could have joined that club after securing 258 Jury points. However, Austria only received 178 Televoting points, one of the lowest totals by a winner this century.

Only 35 countries are competing in Eurovision 2026, the fewest since 2003. Spain and seven-time winner Ireland headline the list of countries boycotting this year’s competition. 

Despite several key countries sitting out, the Big Four of France, Italy, Great Britain, and Germany are competing. A Big Four country does not need to win Eurovision to win this prop wager. Instead, the winner will be the country that places highest among the four options. 

France is a heavy favorite at -400 odds to have the best finish of any Big Four country. Italy is the closest second at +125, followed by Great Britain (+2000) and Germany (+4000). 

Italy had the best finish of a Big Four last year, earning 256 points and placing fifth. France was the next closest, racking up 230 points for seventh place. Germany finished 15th with 151 points, followed by the UK at 19th with 88 points, all of which came from Jury votes.

Winning Margin

• 39 or fewer points (+175)
• 40-100 points (+150)
• 101+ points (+175)

Ukraine has the largest winning margin in recent history, beating the runner-up, the UK, by 165 points in 2022. Its dominant win came one year after Italy took home the win by just 25 points over France. 

2026 Eurovision Winner Predictions

Here are my full Eurovision 2026 predictions:

• Winner: Finland (+125)
• Total winner points: Over 500 (+225)
• Top Big Four country: Italy (+125)
• Win margin: 40-100 points (+150)

Finland is the favorite to win at +125 odds, and I think the Fins will pick up the victory. They finished second in 2023 but have struggled since. This year should be different, though, as the extremely popular “Liekinheitin” gives Finland an edge over the competition. 

Also, I think Finland will return to the trend of the winner having over 500 points (+225) and win by 40-100 points (+150). Italy is my top sleeper country and should finish first among Big Four countries (+125) in Austria this year.
