UK10 Best 2025 NFL Draft Prop Bets
NFL Draft prop bets are the perfect addition to every betting slip on draft day. These are versatile bets, offering football fans multiple ways to bet on future NFL stars.
I will highlight my favorite props for the 2025 NFL Draft in this free guide. Keep reading to see the current draft betting odds and my top wagers for the first round.
Abdul Carter to be the 2nd Overall Pick (+470)
The top NFL betting sites have dozens of props for the first round of the NFL Draft. One of my favorite props is for Abdul Carter to be the second overall pick.
Cleveland currently holds the second overall pick. The Browns could choose a quarterback, but Cam Ward, the top QB prospect, is likely going number one. Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders is listed at 12-1 to be the second overall pick.
Travis Hunter has the best odds to go second at -700, with Carter a distant second at +470. However, many draft experts had Carter penciled in as the second overall pick for months. That has changed in the final week leading up to the draft, but I still believe Carter will be a Brown.
Travis Hunter to be the 3rd Overall Pick (+380)
Travis Hunter is arguably the best prospect in the entire draft and was at one point the favorite to be the first overall pick. The Heisman winner is insistent on playing both cornerback and wide receiver in the NFL, just like he did in college.
Hunter has moved up in some mocks to the Browns at pick two. However, as mentioned above, I believe the Browns will take Carter. With Ward and Carter off the board, that leaves Hunter for the Giants at number three.
New York also needs a long-term answer at quarterback, and Shedeur Sanders (+500) is still a possibility. Ultimately, I think the Giants will pick Hunter (+380), giving them help on the back end of their defense and a lethal one-two punch on offense when he is paired with Malik Nabers.
Shedeur Sanders is a Top 10 Pick (-250)
No player’s draft stock has fallen more in recent weeks than Shedeur Sanders. The Colorado quarterback was a lock to go to New York before the Giants signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.
Now, Sanders is in danger of falling out of the top 10. An ill-timed shoulder injury could cause Saints’ quarterback Derek Carr to miss the 2025 season. New Orleans has the ninth pick, and they could be Sanders’ only hope of being a top-10 pick.
Quarterbacks are over-drafted every year, and I think a team will take Sanders in the top 10. There have not been any trades in the first round yet, but that could change if Sanders starts to fall.
Las Vegas Raiders Draft Ashton Jeanty (-125)
Las Vegas attempted to address its quarterback issues by trading for Geno Smith this offseason. With Smith on their roster, the Raiders have gone from having the fourth-best starting quarterback in the AFC West to having the fourth-best starting quarterback in the AFC West.
Despite the glaring hole at QB, Las Vegas is unlikely to draft a quarterback after signing Smith to a two-year, $85.5 million contract extension. Instead, the Raiders have been tied to Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.
Jeanty could add a new layer to the Las Vegas offense by giving the Raiders a running game. New head coach Pete Carroll loves to run the ball, and drafting Jeanty would help the former Seahawks coach achieve that goal.
Armand Membou is the 1st Lineman Drafted (+190)
The race to be the first lineman drafted this year is between Will Campbell (LSU) and Armand Membou (MU). Campbell has a better collegiate career, but his short arms could cause teams to pass on the former Tiger.
Bovada lists Campbell as the -300 favorite to be the first lineman drafted. However, if Campbell’s measurables cause him to slide, that will open the door for Membou (+190).
Campbell should be the first lineman, but his short arms are a significant question mark. With that in mind, I think that Membou offers the best value in this wager.
Tyler Warren is the 1st Tight End Drafted (-900)
The 2025 NFL Draft is loaded with talent at the running back and tight end positions. Ashton Jeanty should be the first running back picked and could be drafted as high as sixth.
Among the tight ends, the competition to be picked first is between Penn State’s Tyler Warren (-900) and Michigan’s Colston Loveland (+375). It does not matter which team drafts each player for this bet; only which tight end is picked first.
Warren is a heavy favorite, and he should be the first tight end drafted. The former Nittany Lion is listed at -150 to be a top 10 pick, while Loveland is available at 7-1 in the same market.
Tetairoa McMillan is the 1st Wide Receiver Drafted (-190)
Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan is the -190 favorite to be the first wide receiver drafted. One important thing to note for this wager is that Colorado’s two-way star, Travis Hunter, is excluded from this market.
McMillan is 6’4, and so he has plenty of size to play in the NFL. However, the wide receiver class overall in this year’s draft pales in comparison to previous years. McMillan and the other receivers could drop as a result.
Regardless of when he is picked, it is challenging to imagine another receiver, other than Hunter, being picked ahead of McMillan. He is the best bet in this market at -190 odds.
Chicago Bears Draft a Running Back First (+225)
The Bears offensive line, or lack thereof, derailed Caleb Williams rookie season. Chicago spent plenty of resources this offseason to rebuild its o-line. The Bears could draft a lineman, but with Campbell and Membou like gone by the time they draft, the Bears would be reaching for the third-best lineman.
Instead, I think the Bears will try to add a running back to help Williams in his sophomore season. Jeanty could still be available when Chicago picks at 10. Even if Jeanty is gone, UNC’s Omarion Hampton and both of the Ohio State running backs will be available for Chicago.
Pittsburgh Steelers Draft a Quarterback First (+225)
The Steelers’ decision to make Russell Wilson their starting quarterback last year was, predictably, a terrible choice. Pittsburgh appears determined to go from bad to worse by courting Aaron Rodgers.
If Pittsburgh is lucky, Rodgers will retire or sign elsewhere, allowing the Steelers to focus on the draft for their next quarterback. The Steelers currently have the 21st pick, so trading up for Shedeur would be expensive.
If Shedeur falls out of the top 10, though, he could be an option for the Black and Gold. Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart is also an option if Pittsburgh drafts a quarterback in round one.
Mr. Irrelevant is a Linebacker (+1100)
The first round is not the only time you can wager on thrilling NFL Draft prop odds. NFL Draft betting sites have competitive odds for every round, front he first pick to the last.
Kansas City currently holds pick 257, the final pick in this year’s draft, also known as Mr. Irrelevant. On of the ways to wager on this selection is to bet on the position of Mr. Irrelevant. The Chiefs are favored to take a defensive line or edge rusher (+320), with an offensive lineman (+400) a close second.
The Chiefs should go defense, but I think their line has plenty of talent. Instead, I am predicting KC to draft a linebacker with the final pick in the draft. Linebacker as Mr. Irrelevant is currently available at 11-1 odds.
