My top prop is for Mbappé to have 2+ goals scored against Morocco. Mbappé has seven goals so far, one behind Lionel Messi for the most so far in the 2026 World Cup. 

I also like Belgium’s Charles De Ketelare and Norway’s Erling Haaland to be active in helping their teams score while pulling off upsets. Last but not least, I think Argentina will advance in a low-scoring game with under 1.5 total goals scored (+460).

Kylian Mbappé 2+ Goals Scored (+425)

France is tied for the most goals so far in the World Cup, 14, and Mbappé’s seven goals are a major reason why. He has scored 2+ goals in three of his five starts, and the only game Mbappé did not score in was France’s 4-1 win over Norway. 

Mbappé only played in the first half against Norway, so it is not surprising that his numbers were down. He remained a key part of the offense, though, assisting on two goals. 

France’s high-scoring offense hit a snag against Paraguay, but Mbappé broke through with a penalty kick in the 70th minute for his 19th goal in as many games for France. 

Mbappé Needs to Keep Pace with Messi

Mbappé is listed at +425 odds to score at least twice against Morocco. A multi-score game would be a major help to Mbappé’s chances of keeping pace with Messi in the Golden Boot race. 

He needs one goal to tie Messi and two to pass him. Keeping up with Messi is easier said than done, but Mbappé has done it so far. Trying to pass Messi should also give Mbappé extra motivation to play at his best in a game where France is heavily favored. 

Can Morocco Replicate Paraguay’s Physicality?

France’s offense was held to one score for the first time this World Cup in its Round of 16 matchup against Paraguay. Los Guaraníes played a very physical style that frustrated Mbappé and company. 

If Morocco can replicate that strategy, then it has a chance of slowing down France’s offense. However, after already seeing that game plan once, Mbappé and Les Bleus should be better prepared for it this time around. 

Charles De Ketelaere 1+ Scores and Assists, and Belgium Wins (+550)

Belgium’s 4-1 victory over the US ensured that all three co-host countries were eliminated in the Round of 16. Now, the Belgian team is a +440 underdog to beat Spain in the quarter-finals. 

Spain has the second-best odds to win the 2026 World Cup at +375. Belgium, on the other hand, is tied with Switzerland for the longest odds to win at 33-1. 

This wager has two parts. First, Charles De Ketelaere has to contribute 1+ goals and assists. Also, Belgium has to continue its improbable run with another knockout round upset by eliminating Spain. 

Charles De Ketelaere 1+ Scores and Assists

Charles De Ketelaere is one of three players on Belgium’s team with two goals. He is tied with Youri Tielemans and Leandro Trossard for the second-most on the team. Romelu Lukaku leads the Red Devils with three goals in his five starts. 

Both of De Ketelaere’s goals came against the US, and he also added an assist. Now he has broken the seal on scoring in this tournament. De Ketelaere has plenty of momentum to add another goal or assist against Spain and end La Roja’s shutout streak. 

Will Belgium Upset Spain?

Spain and Belgium had similar starts in the group stage, with both teams struggling to get their offenses rolling. La Roja has scored one or fewer goals in three of its five World Cup games so far in 2026. 

Belgium is rolling now and is full of experienced players who will be ready to capitalize if Spain starts slow again. The Red Devils already have two dramatic wins in the knockout round and will add a third if Spain overlooks Belgium this week. They also have the third-most goals, 13, of any team, while Spain is tied for the fewest (9) of any remaining team. 

Erling Haaland has 2+ Goals and Assists, and Norway Wins (+700)

Norway also pulled off an upset in the Round of 16, knocking out Brazil. Now, Erling Haaland and the rest of the Vikings are looking for another upset against England. 

England is a -114 favorite, but another multi-goal game from Haaland will push Norway to the win.  

Can England Recover From Emotional Win Over Mexico?

England was a slight favorite heading into its match with Mexico in the last round. However, beating El Tri in Estadio Azteca was still an emotional feat for The Three Lions. It was the first time Mexico had ever lost in that stadium in a World Cup game. 

The emotional dump from their 3-2 win will be challenging to overcome. They will also be more physically drained after having played at the high elevation in Mexico City.  

Will Haaland Win the Golden Boot?

Norway has become a fan-favorite in this World Cup, thanks in no small part to Erling Haaland. The 25-year-old has racked up seven goals in four games, tied with Mbappé for the second-most in the tournament. 

Bovada has Haaland listed at +125 as an anytime goalscorer and +650 to score 2+ goals. 

Haaland did not play in the team’s 1-4 loss to France. He has scored in each of his four starts, including three multi-score matches. Another multi-goal match will keep Haaland in the Golden Boot race and put Norway in a great position to upset England. 

Argentina Wins and Under 1.5 Total Goals (+460)

The final game of the quarter-finals pits Argentina against Switzerland. Messi and La Albiceleste struggled early against Egypt but did just enough to leave with a 3-2 comeback win. Switzerland advanced past Colombia thanks to penalties after a 0-0 draw. 

Argentina is favored and should win this quarter-final match. However, a tired Argentinian team will struggle to score multiple goals against a stout Swiss defense. 

Is Messi’s Scoring Sustainable?

Messi and company looked out of answers for the first two-thirds of their matchup against Egypt. After falling down 2-0, Cristian Romero finally broke through with a goal at the 79-minute mark.

Messi followed with a goal of his own at 83 minutes to tie the game, and Enzo Fernández put Argentina over the top at 90+3’. 

He leads all scorers with eight goals, but Messi’s offense has slowed down. Messi scored five goals in the first two games of group play but has managed just three goals in as many games since. 

Switzerland’s Struggling Offense

Messi’s scoring has slowed down, but Switzerland’s offense has been nonexistent this World Cup. The Swiss are tied with Spain for the fewest goals, nine, of any remaining team. 

Argentina’s defense has struggled in the knockout stage, conceding five goals in its last three games. Switzerland’s struggling offense should be easier to deal with than Egypt’s and Cape Verde’s, helping Argentina secure its first clean sheet since its 2-0 win over Austria in the group stage.
