Odds to Win Each NFL Division in 2025
Here is a closer look at the latest odds for every division winner in the NFL this season.
2025 AFC East Odds
| Team | Odds to Win AFC East |
|---|---|
| Buffalo Bills | -425 |
| New England Patriots | +350 |
| Miami Dolphins | +10000 |
| New York Jets | +10000 |
Buffalo was the biggest division winner favorite in the preseason, and they remain the heaviest favorites through this point in the season. The Bills’ 4-1 start is the best of any team in the division, so it is not surprising that Buffalo (-425) is still a heavy favorite to repeat as AFC East champions.
New England, the only other team in the division with more than one win, is listed at +350 to win the East. The Pats earned a vital win over Buffalo in Week 5. If they can beat the Bills again in their Week 15 rematch, they will secure a major tiebreaker over Buffalo.
Miami (1-4) and the Jets (0-5) are essentially out of the race already. The Dolphins’ one win came against the Jets, and New York is off to its worst start in franchise history.
The Patriots are frisky, and Buffalo has a history of mid-season slumps. Despite that, New England is too young a team to trust them to have sustained success over an 18-game season. Buffalo (-425) is the way to go in this futures wager.
2025 AFC North Odds
| Team | Odds to Win AFC North |
|---|---|
| Pittsburgh Steelers | -105 |
| Baltimore Ravens | +115 |
| Cincinnati Bengals | +1200 |
| Cleveland Browns | +1800 |
Pittsburgh had the third-best odds to win the AFC North entering the season. The Steelers have shot up to first thanks to their 3-1 start ahead of their Week 5 bye. During Pittsburgh’s bye, every other AFC North team lost, leaving the Steelers as the only team in the division with a winning record.
Baltimore’s 1-4 start has tied them for the second-worst record in football. However, it took every bit of that slow start, and numerous injuries, to knock the Ravens from their perch at the top of the AFC North odds. The Steelers (-105) are now slight favorites over the Ravens (+115) to win the North.
Cincinnati, like Baltimore, has multiple injuries and has fielded one of the worst defenses in football. The Burrow-less Bengals have lost three straight and fallen to +1200 in the division odds. Cleveland (1-4) has the longest odds at 18-1.
Lamar Jackson will return for the Ravens soon, but Baltimore’s defense is too beat up for the team to go on a run. If they can avoid another late-season collapse, Pittsburgh (-105) will win the AFC North for the first time since 2020.
2025 AFC South Odds
| Team | Odds to Win AFC South |
|---|---|
| Indianapolis Colts | +100 |
| Jacksonville Jaguars | +115 |
| Houston Texans | +750 |
| Tennessee Titans | +10000 |
Houston’s 0-3 dropped the Texans from the top of the AFC South division betting odds. Indianapolis (+100) is a slight favorite over Jacksonville (+115) to win the South. The Texans have faded to +750, and Tennessee (1-4) rounds out the odds at +10000.
Indy and Jacksonville are tied with a 4-1 record through five games. They also have identical home (3-0) and away (1-1) records this season. Additionally, they are both 1-0 in divisional games so far.
The Colts and Jags do not play their first of two matchups until Week 14. As impressive as Daniel Jones’s start has been, his history suggests Jones will not continue to play at his current level.
Trevor Lawrence has also struggled with consistency throughout his short career. However, the Jags have the more reliable offense, and Jacksonville will win the AFC South.
2025 AFC West Odds
| Team | Odds to Win AFC West |
|---|---|
| Los Angeles Chargers | -110 |
| Kansas City Chiefs | +275 |
| Denver Broncos | +320 |
| Las Vegas Raiders | +1400 |
The Chargers opened the season tied with Denver for the second-best odds to win the AFC West. LA shot up the odds boards after starting the season with three straight division wins. Despite losing back-to-back games, the Chargers are still -110 favorites to win the division.
Kansas City, the preseason favorite, has fallen to +275 in the latest division odds. Denver is a close third at +320, and the 1-4 Raiders are longshots at +1400.
LA’s recent struggles have kept the Chiefs’ hopes of winning their 10th consecutive division title alive. Kansas City has been far from perfect this season, and its next five opponents are tough.
On the flip side, KC still has the best QB in the division, Patrick Mahomes, and they will get Rashee Rice back soon. The Chiefs will be able to run down the Chargers for the division title when they are back to full strength. KC is still the best bet to win the AFC West this season.
2025 NFC East Odds
| Team | Odds to Win NFC East |
|---|---|
| Philadelphia Eagles | -125 |
| Washington Commanders | +175 |
| Dallas Cowboys | +500 |
| New York Giants | +6500 |
The reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles started 4-0 but have lost back-to-back games. Despite their recent skid, Philadelphia remains the -125 favorite to win the NFC East.
If they win the division, the Eagles will be the first back-to-back NFC East champions in over 20 years.
Washington has the best odds to dethrone the Eagles at +175. The Commanders overcame their two games without Jayden Daniels and have a 3-2 record this season. However, they have yet to win back-to-back games this year.
Dallas (2-2-1) and New York (2-4) are listed at +500 and +6500, respectively. The Giants are only 2-4, but one of their wins came against the Eagles.
New York is a nice story, but they have given up too much ground in the divisional race. Washington, on the other hand, can tie the Eagles for the best record in the East with a win in Week 6. Given Philly’s mounting issues on both sides of the ball, the Commanders are the best bet to win the division.
2025 NFC North Odds
| Team | Odds to Win NFC North |
|---|---|
| Detroit Lions | +100 |
| Green Bay Packers | +120 |
| Minnesota Vikings | +1100 |
| Chicago Bears | +1800 |
Another tightly contested divisional race in the NFC is the battle for first place in the North. The Lions are listed at even money to repeat as NFC North champions. Green Bay, which beat the Lions in Week 1, is a close second at +120.
Minnesota (3-2) and Chicago (2-2) are both .500 or better, but they are long shots at +1100 and +1800, respectively.
This division will come down to the Lions and the Packers. Detroit’s offense is back on track after its poor performance in Week 1, but it faces a tough stretch in its schedule. The Lions play the Chiefs, Buccaneers, Vikings, Commanders, and Eagles in their next five games.
Green Bay, on the other hand, already has one win over the Lions this year, giving the Packers an edge in the division race. Four of their next six opponents have losing records. Green Bay’s soft schedule should allow the Packers to rack up enough wins to gain some distance from the Lions to take over first place in the division.
2025 NFC South Odds
| Team | Odds to Win NFC South |
|---|---|
| Tampa Bay Buccaneers | -325 |
| Atlanta Falcons | +375 |
| Carolina Panthers | +1500 |
| New Orleans Saints | +3000 |
Tampa Bay’s 4-1 start has helped secure the Buccaneers’ place at the top of the NFC South. The Bucs are -325 favorites to win the division, the heaviest favorite in the NFC.
Atlanta is the closest second at +375. Carolina (+1500) and New Orleans (+3000), who are a combined 3-7, have the longest odds to win the NFC South this season. The Panthers and Saints are both winless on the road this season.
Baker Mayfield has led four game-winning drives this season, including one against the Falcons. Tampa Bay needs to find a way to win without late-game heroics to succeed in the postseason. The rest of the division is weak, though, so the Buccaneers should cruise to their fifth consecutive division title.
2025 NFC West Odds
| Team | Odds to Win NFC West |
|---|---|
| San Francisco 49ers | -120 |
| Los Angeles Rams | +195 |
| Seattle Seahawks | +500 |
| Arizona Cardinals | +3000 |
San Francisco has overcome its injury issues to secure a 4-1 start to the season. As a result, they are -120 favorites to win the division despite injuries to their quarterback, receiver, and tight end rooms.
One of the 49ers’ wins came against the Rams on TNF in Week 5. They also already have wins over Seattle and Arizona. Their 3-0 start in the division gives San Fran a major advantage in the divisional race.
LA has the best odds to upset the 49ers for the division at +195. The Rams’ offense has produced plenty of yards, but LA has struggled to put up points. If LA cannot improve on its 24.6 PPG, which ranks 15th in the league, it will not be able to catch the 49ers.
Seattle, on the other hand, is available at 5-1 odds to win the division. The Seahawks are 3-2, the same record as the Rams, and are averaging the fifth-most PPG this season at 29.2. If Seattle’s defense can hold up its end of the bargain, the Seahawks’ high-flying offense will carry them to a division win.
