Top NFL betting sites have the Bears as home favorites on Thursday Night Football against the visiting Patriots. Chicago is a -165 moneyline favorite, giving Caleb Williams and company a 62.26% implied win probability.

Houston is also a favorite, laying 10.0 points against the New York Giants. The Texans have won back-to-back games and now face a Giants team undergoing major offensive changes.

The 4-2 Cleveland Browns are one of the weekend’s smallest favorites at -1.5 against the Titans in Tennessee. Cleveland is 1-2 on the road, and Tennessee has tons of momentum after securing its first win of the season last week.

Week 7 TNF Best Bet: New England Patriots +3.0 (-108)

Icon of football
  • The Bears’ rushing attack has been limited without Kyle Monangai (turf toe) on the sidelines.
  • New England has one of the NFL’s best run defenses, allowing just 91.8 rushing yards per game, the ninth-fewest in the league.
  • Since Week 2, the Bears have averaged 18.2 PPG and have been held under 10 points twice.

New England (4-2) and Chicago (4-2) square off on Thursday Night Football. The Bears have the league’s top-ranked rushing offense, averaging over 160 yards per game on the ground. Chicago is also at home for this prime-time matchup and is favored by a field goal.

Despite the Bears’ strengths, I like the Pats to cover the spread this week on TNF.

The Patriots’ run defense allows 91.8 YPG, the ninth-fewest in the league so far this season. Also, Chicago’s running game has struggled without Kyle Monangai, rushing for under 100 yards and fewer than 3.5 yards per carry in back-to-back weeks.

Chicago’s passing defense has also been lackluster lately. They have allowed five passing TDs in the last two weeks.

If New England can keep the lid on the Bears’ running game and exploit their recent pass issues, the Pats can cover, if not win outright, on Thursday.

Best Week 7 NFL ML Picks (Straight Up)

Icon of football
  • Carolina Panthers (-170)
  • Minnesota Vikings (-275)
  • Dallas Cowboys (-225)

Carolina (3-2) can solidify itself as the best team in the lowly NFC South with a win over divisional rival Tampa Bay (1-5) this weekend. Bryce Young, who leads the league with 309.8 passing YPG, and the Panthers are -170 home favorites in this matchup. Young should pick apart a Buccaneers defense that allows the sixth-highest completion percentage in the NFL (66.5%).

Minnesota is a -275 favorite to improve to 6-0 this weekend against the struggling Indianapolis Colts. The Vikings’ blitz-heavy defense had a bye last week, so Brian Flores’s pass rushers should be well-rested. Kyler Murray and the offense will also move the ball at will against a Colts defense allowing 351.2 total YPG, the ninth-most in the league.

Oddsmakers have the Cowboys (2-4) as -225 favorites on Monday Night Football against the Eagles (2-4) this week. Dallas has struggled on both sides of the ball the last two weeks, but they face an Eagles team that is missing multiple starters on offense, including QB Jalen Hurts. The Cowboys will do enough against a depleted Eagles team to hand Philly its fifth straight loss.

Week 7 NFL Picks ATS

Icon of football
  • New Orleans Saints +3.5 (-120)
  • New York Giants +10.0 (-112)
  • Arizona Cardinals +4.5 (-115)

New Orleans is a 3.5-point “home” favorite against Pittsburgh in the first-ever NFL game in France. Tyler Shough needs to get rid of the ball quickly against a Steelers defense that has 16 sacks this season. If Shough can manage that, the Saints (25.3 PPG) should be able to keep up with a clunky Pittsburgh offense averaging just 22.8 PPG.

The Giants are getting 10.0 points as road underdogs this weekend against the Houston Texans (2-4). Houston has won back-to-back games, but its defense has underperformed expectations this year, allowing 246.0 passing YPG (6th most). Jet lag from their recent trip to London also makes the Texans a risky bet to cover such a large spread, so I am siding with the Giants.

Arizona is listed as a +4.5-point home underdog this weekend against the visiting Broncos. Denver is one of two teams, along with Philly, whose punter, Jeremy Crawshaw (1,568 yards), has more yards than their offense (1,513). The Broncos will likely be without Pat Surtain II and Talanoa Hufanga again this week, making it easier for the Cards to cover the spread.

Best Week 7 NFL Upset Picks

Icon of football
  • Cincinnati Bengals (+130)
  • Green Bay Packers (+150)
  • Kansas City Chiefs (+120)

Cincinnati is one of my top underdogs this weekend, with +130 odds to beat the Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson has missed back-to-back games with an ankle injury and is questionable to practice this weekend. If Lamar is out, then Joe Burrow and the Bengals, fresh off a bye, should roll to an important divisional win on Sunday.

Green Bay has won three straight games, but the Packers are +150 underdogs on Sunday in Detroit against the Lions. The Lions have the worst total defense in the NFL, allowing 404.4 YPG, and surrender 297.4 passing YPG. Jordan Love has topped 270 passing yards in four of his six starts and will dominate the Lions’ weak passing defense.

The undefeated Chiefs (5-0) are +120 road underdogs on Sunday Night Football against the Seahawks. Kenneth Walker III leads the NFL with 665 rushing yards, despite playing just 5 games, and is primed for a big game against his former team. Sam Darnold’s recent turnover issues, including seven interceptions in his last four games, also give the Chiefs a major edge in this prime-time matchup.

NFL Week 7 Predictions

  • Bears (-165)
  • Steelers (-180)
  • 49ers (-170)
  • Bengals (+130)
  • Panthers (-170)
  • Texans (-470)
  • Vikings (-275)
  • Jets (-230)
  • Browns (-130)
  • Broncos (-220)
  • Packers (+150)
  • Raiders (+180)
  • Chiefs (+120)
  • Cowboys (-225)

The Jets (-230) host the winless Dolphins this weekend in a must-win game for head coach Aaron Glenn. Miami is coming off a bye, but the extra rest will not fix a Dolphins offense that ranks fifth-fewest in the league (280.2 YPG). New York should win against a team tied for the fewest points scored this season (14.0 PPG).

Cleveland is listed at -130 odds to beat the Titans in Tennessee this weekend. Tennessee won its first game of the season in Week 6, but it is still tied with Miami for the worst PPG average this year. It will not be pretty; however, I think the Browns are a good bet to improve to 5-2 against a Titans team that is 0-3 at home.

Las Vegas (+180) is a home underdog against the visiting Rams (-220) on Sunday. LA was supposed to be a super team but has fallen to 2-4 and will be without WR Davante Adams for the foreseeable future. The Raiders are also desperate for a win after losing three straight and will take down a struggling Rams team a week after going toe-to-toe with the Bills.
