Top Week 5 NFL Prop Bets (2026)
Many stars are out this week, but there are exciting NFL prop bets if you know where to look. This week’s schedule includes the Cowboys hosting the Buccaneers on Thursday night, a battle between the Eagles and Jaguars in London, and a must-see game between the 49ers and Seahawks.
I break down my best NFL props from those games and more in the guide below. Also, I tell you how to find the top player and game props for every matchup in Week 5.
Best TNF Prop Bet: Jalon Daniels Over 229.5 Rushing + Passing Yards (-115)
Lucky Rebel lists rookie Jalon Daniels at over/under 229.5 combined rushing and passing yards for Thursday’s matchup against the Cowboys. Daniels lost in his debut against the Packers last week, but his mobility helped add a spark to the Buccaneers’ running game.
After gaining just 283 yards on the ground in the first three games (94.3 yards per game), Tampa Bay had 141 rushing yards against the Packers on Sunday. Daniels contributed 55 of those yards on his eight carries.
He had 203 total rushing and passing yards in his NFL debut, and I think Daniels can improve in his second start.
Dallas allows 389.5 total YPG, the third-most in the league. Their run defense has been especially bad, allowing the second-most rushing yards this season (150.3 YPG). The Cowboys’ soft run defense will help Daniels rack up enough yards to cover the over in this combined yards prop.
Top NFL Player Props for Week 5
Here are three other Week 5 player props to target at the top NFL betting sites.
Bhayshul Tuten Over 62.5 Rushing Yards (-113)
The Jaguars host a beat-up Eagles team in London this weekend. Jacksonville RB Bhayshul Tuten is listed at over/under 62.5 rushing yards, and he should cover.
Tuten has at least 13 rushing attempts in every game this season and is averaging 4.6 yards per attempt. Also, he has 65+ rushing yards in each of his four starts this year. Tuten has topped 70 yards on the ground in back-to-back games.
In Week 4, Tuten had a season-high 91 scrimmage yards.
Philly has allowed 122 rushing YPG, the 10th-most in the NFL. They have allowed 94+ rushing yards to RBs in every game and are giving up 4.13 YPA to the position. Tuten will take advantage of the Eagles’ weak run defense and top 62.5 yards on the ground this weekend.
Harold Fannin Jr. Over 36.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
The Browns are one of the most surprising teams in the AFC at 3-1. TE Harold Fannin Jr. has been a key part of the team’s success in his second season as a pro.
Fannin Jr. is tied for the team lead in receptions with 17 catches this year. He is also second on the team in receiving yards with 153. Fannin Jr. is averaging 38.3 receiving YPG and 9.0 YPC so far this season.
He is great at gaining YAC, too, with 91 of Fannin Jr.’s 153 yards coming after the catch. Cleveland is facing a Jets defense that has allowed 8.52 YPC to TEs this season, which should allow Fannin Jr. to cover the over on this prop.
Deebo Samuel Over 31.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Another receiving total to target this week is Deebo Samuel’s over/under 31.5 yards. The 49ers take on the Seahawks in Seattle in a pivotal early-season division matchup.
Samuel has averaged 13.2 YPC and 46.3 receiving YPG this season.
The Seahawks have a tough passing defense, holding teams to 144.8 passing YPG, the lowest in the NFL. They are one of two teams to not allow over 1,000 total passing yards this season.
Samuel has been a reliable option for Purdy this season, catching 14 of his 17 targets. A third of his receiving yards, 63 of 185, have come after the catch. His YAC ability gives Deebo a chance to cover this low receiving total on a single play.
Best Week 5 NFL Game Prop Bets
Lucky Rebel is also offering great game props for Week 5’s best matchups. Here are my top four game props for Sunday’s matchups.
Indianapolis Colts +3.5 (-150)
Indianapolis is listed at even money to cover +2.5 points against the Steelers this weekend. However, you can gain a full point and still get a great return by betting the Colts at -150 odds to cover +3.5.
The extra point could be vital, as it covers a field goal.
Indy is coming off a win against the Commanders in London last weekend. The international travel could put the Colts at a major disadvantage given that the Steelers had extra time off after playing on TNF last week.
Despite being less rested, the Colts’ strong running game should allow them to keep this game within three points against a struggling Steelers’ offense.
Vikings vs. Saints Both Score 14+ Points (-185)
Minnesota’s defense has led the Vikings to a 4-0 start despite their offensive struggles. New Orleans, on the other hand, has a great offense but is 1-3 because of its defense. They square off this week, and you can get -185 odds that both teams score 14+ points.
The Vikings have allowed the fewest points in the NFL, 12.8 PPG. New Orleans has allowed the most (32.0 PPG) but has also scored 26.3 PPG, the 10th-most.
Minnesota’s low-scoring offense should be able to move the ball against a weak Saints’ defense. The Vikings’ pass rush will be tough to score against, but the Saints’ offense is explosive enough to score at least two touchdowns on Sunday.
Chargers Win 1st Half, Broncos Win the Game (+650)
The Chargers (0-4) host the Broncos (2-2) in an important AFC West matchup this weekend. LA is searching for its first win, and Denver is hoping to bounce back from a disappointing loss to the 49ers.
Denver has been one of the worst first-half teams in the NFL. The Broncos have scored 13 total points in the first half of games this season. They flip the script at halftime, scoring 61 of their 74 points in the second half.
The Broncos’ early-game struggles give the Chargers a better chance of winning the first half. However, Denver’s talent for second-half comebacks makes them the best bet to win on Sunday.
Falcons Over 21.5 (-152)
Atlanta is a 3.5-point home favorite over the Baltimore Ravens this weekend on Sunday Night Football. The Falcons have scored a league-high 80 points in the last two weeks, and the Ravens are likely to be without QB Lamar Jackson.
Lucky Rebel has Atlanta listed at over/under 21.5 points. However, even though the Ravens are underdogs, Baltimore is listed at over/under 22.5 points.
The Falcons’ rushing attack is deadly in prime-time games. Also, head coach Kevin Stefanski knows the Ravens well from his time as the Browns’ HC. He will run up the score against his old rival, and Atlanta will top 21.5 points on SNF.
Week 5 NFL Prop Betting Trends and Tips
Factor in these trends and tips before placing your NFL Week 5 prop wagers.
Eagles Offensive Line Injuries
No team’s running game has taken as much of a hit in the last two weeks as the Eagles. In addition to multiple offensive line injuries, starting OT Lane Johnson retired this week, and they could be without RBs Saquon Barkley (hamstring) and Tank Bigsby (core muscle) this Sunday.
Expect Philly and other teams with multiple o-line injuries to struggle in the trenches this week.
Rainy Weather Will Continue to Be a Factor
Rain affected multiple games in the first month of the season, and the weather should remain a factor this weekend. There will be more rain in the Northwest, which could lead to low-scoring games and limited passing opportunities.
