2026 NFL Division Winner Odds
Lucky Rebel provided the following odds on 2026 NFL division winners.
| Division | Favorite | Prediction |
|---|---|---|
| AFC East | Buffalo Bills (-135) | Buffalo Bills (-135) |
| AFC North | Baltimore Ravens (+100) | Cincinnati Bengals (+165) |
| AFC South | Houston Texans (+135) | Houston Texans (+135) |
| AFC West | Kansas City Chiefs (+180) | Los Angeles Chargers (+185) |
| NFC East | Philadelphia Eagles (+140) | Washington Commanders (+475) |
| NFC North | Detroit Lions (+150) | Chicago Bears (+325) |
| NFC South | Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+205) | New Orleans Saints (+250) |
| NFC West | Los Angeles Rams (-105) | Los Angeles Rams (-105) |
In 2025, only one division winner from the 2024 season failed to open as the favorite. It is a completely different story heading into 2026, with only one team, the Philadelphia Eagles, favored to repeat as division champs.
Philly is listed at +140 odds to win the NFC East. The Eagles ended a 20+ year drought of repeat winners in the division last year and could have the first three-peat in the NFC East since Philadelphia won four straight in the early 2000s.
Two teams, the Bills and the Rams, are listed as odds-on favorites to win their divisions. Six favorites have plus-money odds heading into the season, twice as many as last year.

Odds to Win Each NFL Division in 2026
After a season with seven new division winners in 2025, oddsmakers at top NFL betting sites faded the odds across the board for 2026. No team has better than -135 odds to win their division as the preseason begins.
Here is a closer look at the odds to win every division in the NFL this season.
2026 AFC East Odds
| Team | Odds to Win AFC East |
|---|---|
| Buffalo Bills | -135 |
| New England Patriots | +135 |
| New York Jets | +2000 |
| Miami Dolphins | +4000 |
The AFC East was a two-team race last season, and it is shaping up to be more of the same this year. New York and Miami are rebuilding, leaving New England and Buffalo to fight it out for the division title in 2026.
Buffalo is the favorite at -135, and New England is a close second at +135.
The Patriots won the AFC East last season with 14 regular-season wins. History suggests they take a step back this year, even if the team itself is better. Buffalo is all but guaranteed to hit at least 12 wins, which does not give the Pats much wiggle room record-wise if they regress.
Buffalo has a proven track record of double-digit wins and is the safest preseason bet to win the AFC East this year.
2026 AFC North Odds
| Team | Odds to Win AFC North |
|---|---|
| Baltimore Ravens | +100 |
| Cincinnati Bengals | +165 |
| Pittsburgh Steelers | +525 |
| Cleveland Browns | +2500 |
Three teams in the AFC North have +525 odds or better to win the division. Baltimore is the even-money favorite, and Cincinnati is close behind at +165. Pittsburgh, the reigning division champs, rounds out the top three at +525.
Cleveland, seeking its first division title since 1989, has the longest odds at 25-1.
The biggest question in the AFC North is which team can stay the healthiest. Injuries are a part of the game, but no quarterback in the division was able to play all 17 games last season.
Joe Burrow is no stranger to injuries, but he has made the AFC Championship Game in two of the three seasons he stayed healthy. If he does manage to stay on the field this year, Burrow and the Bengals offer the best value to win the AFC North in 2026.
2026 AFC South Odds
| Team | Odds to Win AFC South |
|---|---|
| Houston Texans | +135 |
| Jacksonville Jaguars | +200 |
| Indianapolis Colts | +375 |
| Tennessee Titans | +900 |
Houston is the +135 preseason favorite to win the AFC South in 2026. Jacksonville (+200) and Indianapolis (+375) are a close second and third, respectively. Tennessee has the longest odds at 9-1.
The Texans traded for David Montgomery to boost their run game. Jacksonville and Indy, on the other hand, lost key offensive pieces, like Travis Etienne and Michael Pittman Jr. Their losses could be great news for Houston, which is seeking its third division title in four years.
Houston’s defense is another reason to back the Texans. CJ Stroud has struggled to duplicate the success from his rookie season, but the defense has consistently performed at a high level since DeMeco Ryans became the head coach.
2026 AFC West Odds
| Team | Odds to Win AFC West |
|---|---|
| Kansas City Chiefs | +180 |
| Los Angeles Chargers | +185 |
| Denver Broncos | +225 |
| Las Vegas Raiders | +1500 |
Arguably the most competitive division in the AFC, the West has three teams with better than 3-1 odds to win. Denver won the division last year but is listed with the third-best odds to repeat at +225. Kansas City (+180) and Los Angeles (+185) are ahead of the Broncos.
Like the North, the West will come down to QB health. KC’s Patrick Mahomes and Denver’s Bo Nix both suffered season-ending injuries last year. LA’s Justin Herbert stayed mostly healthy, but his offensive line did not, and Herbert was sacked a career-high 54 times.
A healthy o-line and a new OC in Mike McDaniel should be the perfect storm for Herbert and the Chargers to take a step forward this year. LA will win the West, claiming its first division title since 2009.
2026 NFC East Odds
| Team | Odds to Win NFC East |
|---|---|
| Philadelphia Eagles | +140 |
| Dallas Cowboys | +190 |
| Washington Commanders | +475 |
| New York Giants | +575 |
The Eagles (+140) and the Cowboys (+190) are the top favorites to win the NFC East. Philadelphia won the division last year, becoming the first back-to-back winner in over two decades.
Pulling off the three-peat will be easier said than done after the Eagles traded their WR1, A.J. Brown, to New England. Dallas also faces a tough road as it tries to rebound from back-to-back 7-win seasons.
An underrated team in this division is the Commanders. Jayden Daniels was hurt last season and failed to live up to his breakout rookie-year performance. With Daniels healthy and a new target in veteran Stefon Diggs, I think Washington can make a run at the division title.
2026 NFC North Odds
| Team | Odds to Win NFC North |
|---|---|
| Detroit Lions | +150 |
| Green Bay Packers | +275 |
| Chicago Bears | +325 |
| Minnesota Vikings | +475 |
The Lions finished fourth in the NFC North last season, but that did not stop Detroit from opening as the favorites to win the division this year. Detroit is listed at +150 to win the North, closely followed by Green Bay (+275) and Chicago (+325). Minnesota has the longest odds at +475.
Every team in the North finished with a winning record last year, so picking a winner this year is tough.
My best bet to win the NFC North is Chicago, which won the division last year. The Bears should be even better this year in year two under Ben Johnson. If Caleb Williams lives up to expectations and ascends into an MVP contender, the Bears will repeat as NFC North champs.
2026 NFC South Odds
| Team | Odds to Win NFC South |
|---|---|
| Tampa Bay Buccaneers | +205 |
| New Orleans Saints | +250 |
| Atlanta Falcons | +300 |
| Carolina Panthers | +350 |
From one of the best divisions in the NFL to one of the worst, no team in the South had a winning record last season. Carolina managed to win the division, but the Panthers have the longest odds to win it this season at +350.
Tampa Bay is the betting favorite at +205, but the Saints (+250) and Falcons (+250) are also viable options.
New Orleans was surprisingly competitive last season after handing the reins of the offense to Tyler Shough. If Shough takes a step forward in year two, he could have a case as the best QB in the division and lead the Saints to a division title.
2026 NFC West Odds
| Team | Odds to Win NFC West |
|---|---|
| Los Angeles Rams | -105 |
| Seattle Seahawks | +225 |
| San Francisco 49ers | +300 |
| Arizona Cardinals | +10000 |
The Rams (-105) are the opening favorites to win the NFC West, beating out the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks (+225). San Francisco also has competitive odds at +300, while Arizona has the longest division winner odds of any team in the NFL at +10000.
LA has the second-shortest odds of any division favorite, and for good reason. The Rams added Myles Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, and could get Aaron Donald back. It is hardly going out on a limb to pick the Rams to win the division, but they have the best roster on paper of any team in the league.
Best NFL Division Winner Value Bets for 2026
Houston is a great value as a plus-money favorite. The Texans have won the South two out of the three seasons of Stroud’s career and have been the most consistent team in the division. LAC, on the other hand, has everything it needs to finally break through in 2026.
In the NFC, my top value bets to win the division are Washington and Chicago. Both teams have third-year QBs who have played at a high level at times. If Daniels stays healthy and Williams takes another step forward, the Commanders and the Bears can lock up their respective divisions.
