BetUS has competitive odds on multiple categories for the upcoming Tony Awards. Here are the latest betting lines for this year’s awards.

Joshua Henry, who played Coalhouse Walker Jr. in Ragtime, is the biggest favorite at this year’s Tony Awards. Henry is listed at -8000 odds to win Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical.

At -8000 odds, Henry’s implied win probability is 98.77%.

Not every favorite has prohibitive odds at the 2026 Tony Awards. Nathan Lane (Willy Loman, Death of a Salesman) is listed at -125 odds to win Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play. John Lithgow (Roald Dahl, Giant) is a close second at -110 odds.

BetUS has odds on every awards show, including the Tonys. Read our BetUS review to find out more about this top-ranked entertainment betting sportsbook.

Schmigadoon!-350
The Lost Boys+200
Two Strangers+1200
Titanique+1600

Schmigadoon! is the betting favorite to win Best Musical at the 2026 Tonys at -350 odds. It is an adaptation of the TV series of the same name. The show premiered at the Eisenhower Theater at the Kennedy Center in 2025 before moving to Broadway in 2026, and a North American tour is planned for 2027.

The Lost Boys has the next-best odds at +200. Two Strangers (+1200) and Titanique (+1600) round out the nominees in this year’s Best Musical category.

It has been a productive award season for Schmigadoon!. The show won multiple categories at the Outer Critics Circle Awards, including Outstanding New Broadway Musical. It also won Outstanding Musical at the Drama Desk Awards.

The success of Schmigadoon! should continue this weekend. Titanique had a successful Off-Broadway run, but its Broadway production has only won one award. Likewise, Two Strangers only has one award so far, Outstanding Lyrics at the Drama Desk Awards, and The Lost Boys has received mixed reviews in its limited run.

Best Play Odds

Liberation-400
The Balusters+200
Giant+800
Little Bear Ridge Road+3500

The Best Play category also has a heavy favorite. Liberation is listed at -400 odds to win the award.

Written by Bess Wohl, Liberation is a memory play that explores second-wave feminism. The Broadway production won Outstanding Production of a Play at the Drama League Awards. Wohl also won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

The Balusters has the second-best odds to win Best Play at +200. Giant (+800) and Little Bear Ridge Road (+3500) are also nominated.

Despite the odds, The Balusters has racked up multiple awards in 2026, including:

  • Outstanding New Broadway Play at the Outer Critics Circle Awards
  • Outstanding Play at the Drama Desk Awards
  • Outstanding Broadway Play at the Dorian Awards

The Balusters’ success makes it a valuable underdog at 2-1 odds. I recommend betting on the David Lindsay-Abaire comedy to win Best Play this year.

Nathan Lane in Death of a Salesman-125
John Lithgow in Giant-110
Daniel Radcliffe in Every Brilliant Thing+1200
Will Harrison in Punch+2800
Mark Strong in Oedipus+3500

The closest category in the updated Tony Award odds is Leading Actor in a Play. Nathan Lane (Death of a Salesman) is the favorite at -125 odds, but John Lithgow (Giant) is a close second at -110.

Daniel Radcliffe (Every Brilliant Thing) is third at 12-1 odds. Will Harrison (Punch) and Mark Strong (Oedipus) round out the nominees at 28-1 and 35-1 odds, respectively.

This is a two-man race between Lane and Lithgow. Lane won Outstanding Lead Performer in a Broadway Play at the Outer Critics Circle Awards. Lithgow, on the other hand, won Outstanding Lead Performance in a Broadway Play at the Dorian Awards.

He also beat Lane for the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Play. Lithgow has the better head-to-head record so far, and I think he will beat out Lane again at the Tonys.

Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play Odds

Lesley Manville in Oedipus-700
Susannah Flood in Liberation+500
Kelli O’Hara in Fallen Angels+1200
Carrie Coon in Bug+1400
Rose Byrne in Fallen Angels+2000

Lesley Manville (Oedipus) is a heavy favorite to win Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play at -700.

Manville won Outstanding Lead Performance in a Play at the Drama Desk Awards and was an honoree at the Theatre World Awards for her portrayal of Jocasta. She was also nominated for Outstanding Lead Performer in a Broadway Play at the Outer Critics Circle Awards but lost to Nathan Lane.

Susannah Flood (Liberation) has the best odds to upset Manville, but she is a distant second at +500. Kelli O’Hara (Fallen Angels), Carrie Coon (Bug), and Rose Byrne (Fallen Angels) are also nominated.

In addition to her 2026 hardware, Manville won Best Actress at the 2025 Critics’ Circle Theatre Awards and the 2025 Laurence Olivier Awards. She will cap off her successful run as Jocasta with her first Tony Award.

Joshua Henry in Ragtime-8000
Nicholas Christopher in Chess+1200
Luke Evans The Rocky Horror Show+5000
Sam Tutty in Two Strangers+8000
Brandon Uranowitz in Ragtime+8000

Joshua Henry is listed as a -8000 favorite to win Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical. Henry portrayed Coalhouse Walker Jr. in the revival of Ragtime.

The latest revival of Ragtime has been extremely successful, and Henry is a big reason why. He has won multiple awards, including:

  • Distinguished Performance at the 2025 Drama League Awards
  • Outstanding Lead Performer in a Broadway Musical at the 2025 Outer Critics Circle Awards
  • Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical at the 2025 Drama Desk Awards
  • Outstanding Lead Performance in a Broadway Musical at the 2026 Dorian Awards

Henry has not lost a Best Leading Actor category so far, and that will not change this weekend. His odds do not offer a lot of value, but he can be a stable leg of a Tony Awards parlay.

Marla Mindelle in Titanique+500
Sara Chase in Schmigadoon!+1200
Christiani Pitts in Two Strangers+1600
Stephanie Hsu in The Rocky Horror Show+2000

Caissie Levy, who played Mother in Ragtime, is a -800 favorite to win Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical. She won this category at the Drama Desk Awards but lost similar nominations at the Drama League Awards and the Dorian Awards.

Marla Mindelle (Titanique) has the second-best odds at +500. Sara Chase (Schmigadoon!), Christiani Pitts (Two Strangers), and Stephanie Hsu (The Rocky Horror Show) are also nominated.

Chase (+1200) is my top underdog pick in this category. Schmigadoon! is a heavy favorite to win Best Musical and is nominated in a dozen categories. However, Chase is the only lead nominated for an individual award.

She has yet to win an award for her portrayal of Melissa Gimble, but Chase’s luck can turn around this weekend. The show’s overall popularity will help Chase outperform expectations in this category.
