The latest Week 2 NFL prop bet markets offer hundreds of exciting ways to wager on your favorite football stars. Betting on player and game props will also make watching any game this weekend more fun.

I will highlight my favorite NFL Week 2 prop bets below, breaking down why each wager stands out. Also, I offer advice that bettors need to consider when wagering on early-season prop wagers.

Top NFL Player Props for Week 2

Lucky Rebel Sportsbook has hundreds of props for every game this weekend. Here are my top player props for NFL Week 2.

Breece Hall Over 79.5 Scrimmage Yards (-115)

The Jets fell short in their home opener against Pittsburgh, and they are 6.5-point underdogs against Buffalo in this week’s odds. On the bright side, New York’s rushing attack had a productive day on the ground.

Breece Hall racked up 107 of the Jets’ 182 rushing yards in Week 1. He also had 38 receiving yards, giving Hall 140+ total yards in the loss.

Lucky Rebel lists Hall at over/under 79.5 total rushing and receiving yards in Week 2. The Bills allowed Derrick Henry to rack up 182 scrimmage yards on 19 total touches. Henry averaged 9.4 yards per carry in the loss.

Hall is not as good as Henry, but he should see plenty of work against a porous Bills’ defense. He will cover the over on his total scrimmage yards prop this week.

Joe Burrow’s Longest Pass over 35.5 Yards (-120)

The Bengals escaped Week 1 with a 17-16 win over Cleveland. Joe Borruor and company struggled to move the ball against the Browns, averaging just 2.9 yards per play.

Cincinnati hosts Jacksonville this week in the Bengals’ home opener. The Jaguars’ defense held Bryce Young to 154 passing yards, and no Panthers’ receiver topped 70 yards. They also sacked Young once and forced three turnovers.

Burrow should have an easier time moving the ball against Jacksonville this weekend. Jacksonville’s defensive performance in Week 1 was impressive, but they are not as talented as Cleveland’s defense. Cincy’s offense is also much better than Carolina’s.

Lucky Rebel lists Burrow’s longest pass at over/under 35.5 yards. After a slow Week 1, I expect the Bengals to try to open up their passing game this Sunday and recommend taking the over on this prop.

Calvin Austin III’s Longest Reception Over 19.5 Yards (-115)

Pittsburgh’s defense struggled to contain the Jets in Week 1, but the Steelers’ passing offense was surprisingly efficient. Third-year receiver Calvin Austin III had 70 receiving yards, the second-most on the team behind DK Metcalf (83 yards).

Austin III’s longest catch was a 30-yard gain in the second quarter. His longest catch in Week 2 is listed at over/under 19.5 yards.

The Steelers host the Seahawks this weekend. Seattle allowed five receptions of 20 or more yards in their Week 1 loss to the 49ers last week. Ricky Pearsall, Christian McCaffrey, and Kyle Juszczyk all had receptions of 25+ yards.

He struggled to break through in his first two seasons, but Austin III has emerged as the second receiver in the Rodgers-led Steelers’ offense. Austin III will have at least one reception of 20+ yards this Sunday.

Trey McBride’s Longest Reception Over 20.5 Yards (-115)

Arizona kicked off its season with a 20-13 win over the Saints in New Orleans. Trey McBride was a major part of the Cardinals’ offense, leading the team in targets (9) and receptions (6) in the win.

McBride was second in yards with 61, and his longest reception went for 25 yards. His longest reception for Week 2 is listed at over/under 20.5 yards.

The Cardinals face the Panthers this week. Carolina only allowed two receptions of 21+ yards in Week 1. However, they also allowed 200 rushing yards in the loss.

Arizona struggled to run the ball effectively outside of Trey Benson’s 52-yard run. The Cardinals will need to rely more on their passing game while they work out the issues with their rushing attack. With that in mind, I think McBride will have another reception of at least 21 yards this weekend.

Best Week 2 NFL Game Prop Bets

Lucky Rebel offers exciting game props for this weekend’s matchups. Here are my three favorite game props for Week 2.

Broncos vs. Colts Under 4.5 Total TDs (+105)

The Colts and Broncos both relied on their defenses to win in Week 1. Indianapolis helped Miami to one touchdown, while Denver kept Tennessee out of the endzone altogether.

The Broncos’ defense helped them win both halves against Tennessee, as predicted in my Week 1 NFL props

With two defense-led teams squaring off, points should be at a premium in this game. Lucky Rebel offers multiple lines in its total touchdowns scored props for Broncos-Colts. My top pick is the under 4.5 total TDs (+105) option.

Indy did not allow a touchdown until late in the fourth quarter. Also, many of the Colts’ scoring drives were set up by turnovers. Daniel Jones and company also benefited from playing a weak Miami defense.

Denver’s defense is top-five, and it will be much tougher to move the ball against. However, the Broncos’ offensive struggles last week were concerning. Two strong defenses taking one questionable offenses points to this game being a low-scoring affair.

Kansas City Chiefs -1.5 (+103)

Kansas City lost its opener for the second time in the last three seasons. The Chiefs must get over their loss to the Chargers quickly, with the Eagles coming to town in Week 2.

Philadelphia won its opener against Dallas, but the Eagles were not perfect. They struggled to stop the Cowboys’ offense early, and Philly barely topped 300 yards of total offense. Despite their issues, the Eagles are 1.0-point favorites in KC this week.

I think the Chiefs will take advantage of Philadelphia’s defensive issues this week and win at home. However, the line is so close that even as an underdog, KC’s moneyline is listed at -103. On the bright side, you bet an alternate line of Chiefs -1.5 at +103 odds.

Chargers Win Both Halves (+255)

Another AFC West team that I have high expectations for this week is the Chargers. They beat the Chiefs in Brazil and now have a chance to move to 2-0 in divisional games. LA faces the Raiders in the second game of Monday’s doubleheader.

The Raiders upset the Patriots in Foxborough thanks to Geno Smith’s 362 passing yards. LA has one of the best defenses in the league, and its offense looked explosive against a stout Chiefs’ defense.

Justin Herbert and company swept the Raiders last year. They also won the first half of both matchups with Las Vegas in 2024. I think that streak will continue, and the Chargers will win both halves (+255) on MNF.

Top NFL betting sites make it easy to wager on your favorite teams and players in Week 2. Here are some tips to keep in mind when betting on the latest Week 2 lines.

Icon of football
  • Monitor injury updates
  • Do not overrate Week 1 performances
  • Continue favoring the under

Most teams made it through Week 1 without any major injuries; however, some players were bitten by the injury bug. KC’s Xavier Worthy and San Francisco’s Brock Purdy, for example, are both questionable for this week. Keep an eye out for the latest injury reports before making your Week 2 wagers.

Another tip for betting on this week’s games is to not overrate, for better or worse, any season-opening performance. There are tons of factors unique to Week 1 that can impact teams’ performances. Offenses are still finding their footing, veterans are shaking off rust, and rookies are battling nerves.

In that same vein, you should continue the trend of favoring unders in Week 2. Scoring and offensive production in general should be low again this weekend.
