| Ilia Topuria (c) (17-0) vs. Justin Gaethje (27-5) | Ilia Topuria (c) (-675) | Justin Gaethje (+450) |
Lightweight champion Ilia Topuria is a -675 favorite to retain his title against Justin Gaethje. Top MMA betting sites have Topuria as the biggest favorite on the UFC White House card.
Topuria’s current odds imply a win probability of 87.1%.
Alex Pereira is the smallest favorite on the card at -112 for his UFC Interim Heavyweight Championship against Cyril Gane (-108). Pereira is moving up to Heavyweight in an attempt to become the first fighter to win UFC titles in three weight divisions.

UFC Freedom 250 Main and Co-Main Event Preview
Pereira and Gane are both chasing Interim Heavyweight gold at UFC Freedom 250.
Gane is 10-2, 1 NC in the UFC, and has held the interim title before. He lost his unification fight against Francis Ngannou at UFC 270. Gane also had a chance to win the title at UFC 285 but was submitted by Jon Jones.
His last fight, a title match against Tom Aspinall, ended in a No Contest.
Pereira, who is 10-2 in the UFC, previously held the UFC Middleweight and UFC Light Heavyweight titles. If he wins, the former kickboxing champion will be the first UFC fighter to hold titles in three weight divisions.
History could also be made in the main event. Ilia Topuria puts his undefeated record and his UFC Lightweight title on the line against Justin Gaethje.
Topuria, who previously held the UFC Featherweight title, looks to continue his legendary run through the promotion. This will be his fourth straight title fight, and he has won six Performance or Fight of the Night bonuses in a row.
Gaethje has been a staple of the 155-pound division, but he has never won undisputed gold. The Highlight is currently in his second run as Interim Lightweight champion and briefly held the BMF belt.
Best Bets for UFC Freedom 250
Diego Lopes faces Steve Garcia in the opening bout of the upcoming UFC White House card. The 27-8 Lopes is the -172 favorite despite losing two of his last three fights.
Lopes’s recent losses were against Alexander Volkanovski. He is 6-1 in the Octagon when not fighting Volk. Garcia, on the other hand, is riding a seven-fight winning streak into UFC Freedom 250.
Both fighters have over 10 KOs on their resumes, but Lopes also brings 12 submissions to the table. His grappling skills will be the deciding factor that will help Lopes pick up the win over Garcia in this opening bout.
Mauricio Ruffy is the second-largest favorite on the UFC White House card at -625. He is set to face former Bellator legend Michael Chandler (+445).
Like many long-time Bellator stars who made the jump to the UFC, the Octagon has not been kind to Chandler. Chandler is 2-5 in the UFC, including one submission and two KO losses. His last win came against Tony Ferguson at UFC 274 in May 2022.
Ruffy is a rising star in the UFC and has a 4-1 record in the promotion. Twelve of his 13 career wins have come via KO, including a second-round KO win over Rafael Fiziev in January. Ruffy will continue his rise with a win over the skidding Chandler.
Top UFC Freedom 250 Upset Picks
Kyle Daukaus is a +250 underdog against Bo Nickal (-310) for their fight at UFC Freedom 250. Nickal is a great wrestler, but he is still developing the rest of his MMA skillset.
Daukaus is not a perfect fighter, either, but he is a great grappler. Twelve of his 17 wins have come via submission, and he has never tapped out. If and when this fight goes to the ground, Daukaus has the skills to submit Nickal.
Derrick Lewis is another underdog with a great chance to pull off an upset at the UFC White House event. The Black Beast is a +260 underdog for his upcoming fight against Josh Hokit (-325).
Hokit is 9-0, including a 3-0 start to his UFC career. His unanimous decision win over Curtis Blaydes at UFC 327 was his first fight to go the distance as a professional.
After his last fight ended in a UD, I expect Hokit to come out looking for a finish. Standing and striking with a guy like Lewis, who has 24 KO wins, is a mistake. Lewis will take advantage of an overzealous Hokit and get the KO win.
Full UFC Freedom 250 Fight Card Predictions
Aiemann Zahabi (+320) can make a significant jump in the UFC rankings if he knocks off Sean O’Malley (-400). O’Malley is the better striker, but Zahabi has a black belt in BJJ. If he turns this into a grappling match, Zahabi can submit O’Malley for the upset win.
Pereira (-112) can become the first fighter to win a title in three weight divisions with a win over Gane. The latter has more experience at Heavyweight, but Pereira’s kickboxing is top-tier. Assuming Pereira can keep this fight on the feet, he will make history at UFC Freedom 250.
Topuria (c) (-675) will also make history at the UFC White House card by extending his streak to 18-0. Gaethje has a wrestling background, but he has relied on his striking and KO power throughout his career, as shown by his 19 KO wins. However, Topuria’s striking skills are on another level, and he will beat Gaethje, who has struggled with high-level strikers throughout his career, including most recently, Max Holloway.
UFC Freedom 250 Tips & Strategy
Here are some tips and strategies to help you win your UFC Freedom 250 wagers.
Weather Conditions Will Be Important
The UFC had to build a special outdoor Octagon for the upcoming Freedom 250 card. As with any outdoor sporting event, the weather could be a big factor for this MMA card.
Forecasts for the D.C. area call for a humid day with possible thunderstorms. Even if the rain holds off, the humidity will take its toll on fighters in the latter rounds of bouts, especially in heavier weight classes.
Research UFC Freedom 250 Judges, Officials, and Rules
UFC officials opted not to work with the Washington D.C. Combat Sports Commission. Instead, since the event is taking place on federal land, the UFC claimed it can use the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC) instead.
The commission sanctioning the fights determines the judges, referees, and even the rules allowed for the fights. Since the ABC helped create the Unified MMA rules, it is safe to assume they will be in place for this fight. Who the ABC will choose to judge and officiate the card, though, is still up in the air and could affect the event’s outcome.
