| Los Angeles Rams | +800 |
| Baltimore Ravens | +1000 |
| Seattle Seahawks | +1000 |
| Buffalo Bills | +1100 |
| San Francisco 49ers | +1400 |

The Rams are the betting favorites to win Super Bowl 61 at +800. LA had one of the top offenses in the league last year, led by MVP winner Matthew Stafford. They also shored up their defense during free agency, including trading for All-Pro CB Trent McDuffie.
At their 8-1 odds, the Rams have an implied win probability of 11.11%.
Baltimore and reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle are tied for the next-best odds at 10-1. Buffalo has the fourth-best odds at 11-1. The San Francisco 49ers round out the top five at +1400 odds.

Why Are the Los Angeles Rams Favored?
The Rams were favored to win the Super Bowl last year but lost in the NFC Championship game to division rival Seattle. LA had one of the best offenses in the NFL, averaging:
Stafford’s performance won him the MVP, and WR Davante Adams led the league with 14 receiving TDs. Puka Nacua also had a great season, finishing second in receiving with 1,715 yards.
Unfortunately, the Rams’ defense was not up to snuff. They allowed 327.5 YPG and 20.4 PPG. Starting in Week 13, the Rams’ defense allowed 27.8 PPG in the final six games of the regular season. They allowed 26.3 PPG in the playoffs, including allowing 31 points twice in three games.
The top NFL betting sites have the Rams as +800 favorites to win Super Bowl 61.
LA has used the offseason to shore up its defense. Trading for McDuffie, an All-Pro CB, and signing CB Jaylen Watson, who played with McDuffie in KC, should fortify the Rams’ secondary. Assuming LA’s pass rush can be top-10 in sacks again this season, the Rams will be one of the most complete teams in the NFL and worthy of being title favorites.
On the other hand, LA is in one of, if not the, toughest division. Seattle is the reigning champs, and San Fran has been a consistent playoff contender. Failing to win the division cost the Rams homefield and a trip to the Super Bowl last year and could hinder their title chances again this year.
Top Super Bowl 61 Contenders
Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen continue their quests for their first Super Bowl appearances. Seattle, the defending champions, is also a top contender to return to the Super Bowl at 10-1 odds.
Baltimore Ravens (+1000)
After three straight seasons with double-digit wins, the Ravens struggled to an 8-9 record last season and missed the playoffs. The disappointing season led to John Harbaugh’s firing.
Baltimore hired Jesse Minter, a defensive-minded coach, to replace Harbaugh. Minter has his work cut out for him fixing a defense that secured 30 sacks last season, tied for the third-fewest in the league.
The Ravens’ defense also allowed 354.5 total YPG and 23.4 PPG last season.
Even if Minter can whip the Ravens’ defense into shape, there will still be questions on offense. Lamar Jackson is coming off an injury-plagued season in which he played only 13 games, earning a 6-7 record as a starter. Derrick Henry is also another year older, and the team still lacks a top-flight receiving option.
More importantly, Jackson and company have consistently struggled to perform in the playoffs. Jackson is 3-5 in the playoffs and has never won more than one game in a single postseason.
Seattle Seahawks (+1000)
Seattle is also listed at +1000 odds to win the Super Bowl. The Seahawks face the tough task of repeating as champions. No team in the NFC has made it to back-to-back Super Bowls in over a decade.
Sam Darnold exceeded expectations last year as the Seahawks’ QB. The team also locked down WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba with a four-year, $168.6 million contract.
Like most Super Bowl winners, the Seahawks also lost a lot in the offseason following their title run. OC Klint Kubiak is now the head coach of the Raiders, and Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III signed with the Chiefs in free agency.
Seattle will also face a tougher schedule this year after winning the NFC West in 2025. They have to play the NFC East and the AFC West this season, so winning 14 games again will be easier said than done.
Buffalo Bills (+1100)
Buffalo has the second-best odds of any team in the AFC at 11-1, just behind Baltimore (+1000). The Bills had a clear shot at the Super Bowl last season before losing to the Broncos in overtime in the divisional round.
Like Baltimore, Buffalo decided to move on from its head coach. The Bills fired Sean McDermott and promoted OC Joe Brady to replace him.
Buffalo also traded back multiple times in the 2026 Draft to maximize their draft capital. The Bills added 10 new players in the draft and also traded for WR D.J. Moore, with whom Brady worked with in Carolina.
Six of the Bills’ 10 picks were used on defense, and Buffalo needs all the help it can get on that side of the ball. Buffalo allowed over 136 rushing YPG last year and struggled to keep opponents out of the endzone in the playoffs.
Best Super Bowl 61 Sleepers
With a whole season still to go, now is a great time to take advantage of the odds on Super Bowl 61 sleepers. My top sleepers in the preseason odds at Kansas City (+1500), Denver (+1900), and Washington (+5000).
The Chiefs fell off a cliff last season, finishing 6-11 after making three straight Super Bowl appearances. Their struggles peaked when QB Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL in Week 15. Assuming Mahomes is healthy, though, the Chiefs will be in a prime position to return to contention and take advantage of their third-place schedule.
Denver’s Super Bowl hopes were derailed last season when Bo Nix broke a bone in his ankle in the final drive of the team’s win over the Bills in the Divisional Round. On the bright side, the reigning AFC number one seed still boasts a great defense, and Nix is expected to be healthy for the start of the season.
Speaking of QBs returning from injury, Jayden Daniels and the Commanders offer a ton of value at +5000 odds. If Daniels is healthy and the Commanders start hot, their odds will shorten quickly.

Super Bowl 61 Predictions
The Rams are 8-1 favorites to win Super Bowl 61. However, an aging QB with a lengthy injury history and a schedule that includes over 34,000 miles of travel could derail LA’s title hopes.
Instead, my early Super Bowl 61 pick is the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs had to remake their secondary after a tough free agency. However, they will also face a third-place schedule, and Patrick Mahomes should return early enough in the season to make an impact on the field.
It is easy to overlook KC after a down year in 2025, but Mahomes and co. are still the boogeymen in the AFC.
