Take a look at the UFC 317 odds and you’ll see that bookies predict a real spectacle on June 28 at T-Mobile Arena.

No surprise there, because the next PPV event on the UFC schedule brings along two title fights – Ilia Topuria vs. Charles Oliveira and Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Kara-France – along with 10 other bouts, some of which are so exciting that they could easily headline a Fight Night.

This is great news not just for MMA fans but also for UFC bettors. If you’re one of them, keep on reading to see my top UFC 317 picks.

Odds for UFC 317

BetOnline sits at the top of our list of the best UFC betting sites. There are plenty of reasons for that, starting with the fact that this sportsbook tends to offer much more lucrative prices than its competitors. Exactly that is the case with BetOnline’s UFC 317 odds.

Jhonata Diniz-190Alvin Hines+165
Niko Price+900Jacobe Smith-1600

As you can see, UFC 317 odds are pretty close for every matchup apart from the first fight of the night – Nico Price vs. Jacobe Smith. Priced at -1600, Smith is the biggest favorite on the card. The next on that list is Ilia Topuria at -400, who’s fighting Charles Oliveira in the main event of the evening.

Best Sportsbook for UFC 317BetOnline Sportsbook

For all other fights, the situation is much less lopsided, suggesting that there’s plenty of betting value. But keep in mind that this is the case with UFC 317 odds available at BetOnline.

The odds are great, but that’s not the only reason why I recommend betting on the June 28 event at this site. It’s also because BetOnline has a Split-Draw Championship Refund promo – if your fighter loses by a split decision in a title fight, you’ll get the money back.

UFC 317 Main Event Preview

Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira are fighting for the UFC Lightweight title on June 28 – how did we get there? Well, Islam Makhachev vacated the title after deciding to move up to the welterweight division.

Topuria – who was the UFC Featherweight champ – moved up to the lightweight division to fight for the belt. Charles Oliveira? He’s been there (with a few years’ break) since 2008, even getting ahold of the strap in 2021.

But UFC 317 odds suggest the Brazilian won’t get ahold of the title again. They believe Topuria is way better than him. They’re not alone in this – I think so as well.

I think “El Matador” is the most dangerous man in the 155-pound class. Sure, Oliveira is a hell of a finisher with great striking and a 3rd-degree belt in BJJ, but Topuria is even better.

This is the guy who KO-ed Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway in his last two fights, two guys (formerly) famous for a chin made of concrete. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did the same to “Do Bronx.”

Best Bets for UFC 317

  • Ilia Topuria to Beat Charles Oliveira (-400)
  • Alexandre Pantoja to Beat Kai Kara-France (-235)
  • Tracy Cortez to Beat Viviane Araujo (-200)

If the UFC 317 odds of -400 are too short for you, you might wanna stay away from Ilia Topuria and focus on other fights. One bout to pay attention to is the co-main event of the evening, in which Alexandre Pantoja will try to defend his UFC Flyweight belt against Kai Kara-France.

He’s 7-0 since 2021, and his last defeat was a decision loss to Dagestani wrestler Askar Askarov. Kai Kara-France just can’t use the same tactic; instead, the UFC 317 co-main event will be a striking duel, which I predict the defending champ will win.

Then, there’s Tracy Cortez, an MMA beauty who turns into a beast when she enters the Octagon. She’s a well-rounded fighter who’s landed at least two takedowns in each of her seven UFC fights.

Cortez also hits hard, which seems like the right recipe to defeat Viviane Araujo, whose Achilles heel is striking defense.

Top UFC 317 Upset Pick

  • Paulo Costa to Beat Roman Kopylov (+210)

Some five years ago, Paulo Costa was thought of as the next big thing in the UFC Middleweight Division. He was even given a shot at the title in 2020.

But after losing the championship fight by TKO to Israel Adesanya, he went on to lose three of the following four fights. His only win in that period was a decision win over Luke Rockhold in the final MMA fight of his career.

It sounds bad, but Costa is still relatively young for an MMA fighter. He’s 34 right now, so we could see him fight at the top level for a few more years. Of course, only if he doesn’t get cut by Dana White & Co.

Such a scenario may happen if he loses again. UFC 317 odds suggest he’s going to lose to Kopylov, who’s a brawler with an incredibly powerful punch. But so is Costa.

Plus, he’s much quicker and more agile than the Russian, so we could see him land some nasty body shots that could hurt his opponent. Will this be enough to grind out a win? I think it might.

Best UFC 317 Prop Bets

  • Terrance McKinney vs. Viacheslav Borshchev – Fight to Go the Distance: NO
  • Jhonata Diniz vs. Alvin Hines – Fight to End by KO/TKO

Top sports betting sites still haven’t released UFC 317 odds for props (they usually do it 3-4 days before the event), but once they do, here are the two bets you should make. The first prop is that the McKinney vs. Borshchev fight won’t last until the last bell.

The reason for this is that each of McKinney’s 23 professional MMA fights saw a finish. When it comes to “Slava Claus,” he did hear the final bell on six occasions, but despite that, he’s famous for his ability to KO his opponents. Whether he knocks McKinney out or he gets finished, the fight won’t last for the full 15 minutes.

I also predict we’ll see an early finish in the Diniz vs. Hines fight. Someone’s gonna get slept there; I’m not sure who, though. Diniz is the betting favorite as his knockout-to-win ratio is 87.5%, but Hines is an undefeated former LFA prospect who looks huge ahead of UFC 317. That said, the best bet for this fight is the prop “fight to end by KO.”

UFC 317 Full Card Predictions

  • Ilia Topuria to Beat Charles Oliveira
  • Alexandre Pantoja to Beat Kai Kara-France
  • Brandon Royval to Beat Joshua Van
  • Renato Moicano to Beat Beneil Dariush
  • Paulo Costa to Beat Roman Kopylov
  • Gregory Rodrigues to Beat Jack Hermansson
  • Jose Delgado to Beat Hyder Amil
  • Tracy Cortez to Beat Viviane Araujo
  • Terrance McKinney to Beat Viacheslav Borshchev
  • Payton Talbott to Beat Felipe Lima
  • Jhonata Diniz to Beat Alvin Hines
  • Jacobe Smith to Beat Niko Price

Stay away from the Price vs. Smith fight! Smith is the biggest favorite on the card with UFC 317 odds of -1600, but I don’t think he’s that good. Sure, he might win, but I don’t think it’s worth the risk.

I’d also stay away from the Talbott vs. Lima fight. Lima is a well-rounded warrior, but I wouldn’t write Talbott off. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he won.

The good news is that you can do without those two fights even if you’re planning to make a big parlay bet. You can go with Renato Moicano, who looks more than capable to instill Beneil Dariush his third straight loss.

You can also back Jose Delgado to beat Hyder Amil. It’s gonna be close, but I think he’ll get the job done.

I also predict Gregory Rodrigues will win the war with Jack Hermansson. They’re both hard-hitting brawlers who never give up, but I just think Robocop is a tougher warrior, who can grind out a victory on June 22.

Betting on UFC 317

  • Ilia Topuria to Beat Charles Oliveira (-400)

My top UFC 317 bet is Ilia Topuria, who I think will finish Charles Oliveira. My advice is to back him at BetOnline because if the fight goes the distance and he loses by a split decision, you’ll get your money back.

The same promo applies to the other championship bout of the evening. My pick is Alexandre Pantoja – I think he’ll get the job done before the end of the 25 minutes, but it’s always good to have some sort of insurance.

In addition to those two favorites, I also think Tracy Cortez is a very safe bet. When it comes to underdogs, my top pick is Paulo Costa.
