Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams drops a pass against the Baltimore Ravens

NFL prop bets are the perfect addition to your betting slips in Week 8. Choosing the right props to bet on, though, is not always easy.

The good news is that we have done the hard work for you. Keep reading to see the best player and game prop betting markets for Week 8. I highlight my top props for the week and detail why each wager deserves a spot on your ticket this weekend.

Top NFL Player Props for Week 7

Lucky Rebel sportsbook has dozens of player props available for every Week 8 matchup. Here are my favorite player props of the week.

Davante Adams Anytime TD Scorer (-125)

Puka Nacua has suffered multiple injuries this season, but the receiver has largely been able to play through them. Unfortunately, Nacua’s recent ankle sprain could knock him out of this week’s contest against the Jaguars in Jacksonville.

If Nacua is out of the lineup, veteran receiver Davante Adams will need to pick up the slack. Adams, who joined the Rams as a free agent this summer, is listed at -125 to score a touchdown against the Jags.

LA’s offense struggled last week, failing to cover their Week 6 scoring props against the Ravens. They need Adams to step up big this week to take down a tough Jaguars team.

Nacua has the second-most receiving yards (616) in the NFL, but Adams is not far behind at 11th with 396 receiving yards. Adams also has three receiving TDs this year, which is one more than Nacua.

The Jags lead the NFL in turnovers forced, but they have also given up 10 receiving TDs in six games. Stepping WR1 is nothing new for Adams, who has 106 receiving TDs in his career. He will add at least one TD to his career total this weekend in Wembley.

Rashee Rice 1st Drive TD Scorer (+1000)

Another receiver who should find the endzone this week is Rashee Rice. The Chiefs’ top receiver is making his season debut after missing the first six games with a suspension.

The Chiefs’ offense has improved as the season has progressed. Now that Rice is back in the lineup, Kansas City should look the best it has all season. Playing a Raiders defense that has allowed 1,391 passing yards and eight passing TDs also helps.

KC needs Rice to get involved early and often so he can help open up the rest of the offense. Targeting Rice early will also help him get in rhythm with Patrick Mahomes.

With that in mind, I think Rice will not only score but find the endzone on the Chiefs’ first drive against their division rival.

De’Von Achane Under 94.5 Scrimmage Yards (-115)

Miami’s 1-5 start has all but doomed Mike McDaniel’s head coaching career in South Beach. The final nail in McDaniel’s coffin could come this weekend against the 1-5 Browns in Cleveland.

Cleveland’s defense has played exceptionally well at home. In their two games this season at Huntington Bank Field, the Browns have allowed a combined 27 points. Cleveland is also 1-1 in Ohio this season.

The Browns’ defense will shut down a struggling Dolphins’ offense, which includes stuffing De’Von Achane. Miami’s dual-threat running back is listed at over/under 94.5 combined rushing and receiving yards, but I do not think he will cover.

Achane has alternated strong performances and weak showings. He has three games of 101+ total yards and three with 91 yards or fewer. Achane had 150 scrimmage yards last week and is due for a regression this Sunday against a Browns’ defense that allows fewer than 80 rushing YPG.

Baker Mayfield’s Longest Pass Completion Over 36.5 Yards (-115)

Buccaneers’ quarterback Baker Mayfield looks to continue his MVP campaign with a prime-time matchup against the Lions in Detroit. Tampa Bay is 5-1 and currently the number one seed in the NFC. However, they are underdogs against the Lions this weekend.

Mayfield’s top four receivers are all in danger of missing this game. However, a depleted receiving corps did not stop Mayfield from leading the Bucs to an impressive win against the 49ers last week.

One of the many highlights from the win last week was a 45-yard TD pass to Tez Johnson.

Mayfield is listed at over/under 36.5 yards for his longest completion this week. He has a completion of at least 45 yards in three straight games. The Lions’ secondary is also vulnerable due to a rash of injuries and the suspension of Brian Branch.

Detroit’s weakened secondary is the perfect opponent for Mayfield to continue his streak of 40+ yard completions, and he will cover the over on this player prop.

Best Week 7 NFL Game Prop Bets

The top NFL betting sites also provide exciting game props for football fans to bet on each week. Keep reading to see my favorite game props for Week 8.

New England Wins Both Halves (+145)

Buffalo’s loss to Atlanta allowed the Patriots to assume the pole position in the AFC East. The Bills are on a bye this weekend, opening the door for New England to extend its lead in the division.

New England faces the Titans (1-5), who fired their coach after a blowout loss last week in Las Vegas. Firing a coach can provide a temporary boost the next week. However, I doubt that will be the case this week against Mike Vrabel and the Pats.

Vrabel is returning to Tennessee for the first time as a head coach and has all the motivation in the world to dominate his former team. The Pats also have a talent advantage across the board, and New England should win both halves on Sunday.

Green Bay Packers Score First (-170)

Speaking of newly crowned division leaders, the Packers regained first place in the NFC North thanks to the Lions’ loss to KC in Week 6. Green Bay has fewer wins than the Lions (4-2) at 3-1-1, but they have a better win percentage.

The Packers need to win this week to maintain their division lead. Luckily for Green Bay fans, Jordan Love and company take on an injury-depleted Cardinals team.

Love and the Packers are listed at -170 to score first this week. Green Bay’s defense has allowed three points or fewer in the first half of four of its five games this year. They have also shut out teams in the first half twice this season.

A stout first-half defense will give the Packers offense all the time it needs to score first against the Cardinals.

Colts vs. Chargers Over 50.0 Total Points (+107)

One of the biggest matchups in the AFC this week pits the Colts (5-1) against the Chargers (4-2) in LA. Indy and LA are currently at the top of the AFC South and AFC West, respectively. The losing team this week is in jeopardy of falling out of first place.

Part of the reason the Colts and Chargers have been so successful this season is their productive offenses.

Indy leads the league with 32.3 PPG this season. The Chargers only average 21.2 PPG, but they have scored 23+ points in three of their four wins. LA will need a high-scoring game to have a chance at taking down the Colts.

A shootout favors the over in this alternate total bet of 50.0 points. Even if they only scored their average PPG, the Colts and Chargers will combine for more than 50 points this week.

Giants Win and Both Teams Score 15+ (+475)

The Giants are coming off the biggest win of Jaxson Dart’s young career, a 34-17 victory over the Eagles on TNF. The mini-bye gave New York extra rest for its matchup this week against the Broncos.

Denver played in London last week, so the Broncos will be tired this week. The Broncos’ offensive struggles are also a concern. Bo Nix and the Broncos could only muster 13 points last week against a Jets team that allows over 28 PPG.

A tired defense and an offense that is stuck in the mud are both causes for concern for Denver this week. New York is an underdog, but I believe they can pull off the upset in a game where both teams put up at least 15 points.

Here are some tips and trends to keep in mind when shopping for the latest NFL Week 7 odds.

Weather Will Be Increasingly Important

We are a third of the way through the NFL regular season, and the weather is starting to turn cold. Some teams, such as the Dolphins, are ill equipped for cold weather games and play worse as the temperature dips. Other franchises, including Buffalo, have outdoor stadiums that are heavily impacted by bad weather.

Following the Latest Trade Rumors

As the trade deadline approaches, teams must decide if they are buyers or sellers. Sellers often limit the workload of their top trade pieces to reduce the chances of injury. A reduced workload also reduces a player’s production.
