Top NFL Player Props for Super Wild Card Weekend

Tetairoa McMillan (CAR) Anytime TD Scorer (+180)
Carolina failed to secure the NFC South title in Tampa Bay, but the Panthers came away with first place in the division anyway, thanks to Atlanta’s win over New Orleans. Now, Carolina has to repeat one of its most shocking wins of the year as it takes on the Rams at home.
The Panthers beat LA 31-28 when they met in Week 14. Bryce Young had three TD passes in that game, including a 43-yard game-winning TD to rookie Tetairoa McMillan.
That game-sealing TD was McMillan’s only catch of the game. Carolina needs more production from McMillan to pull off another upset. However, as he showed in their first matchup, the rookie only needs one reception to find the endzone.
McMillan is listed at +180 odds to score against the Rams on Saturday. LA’s defense will be focused on stopping McMillan, but that will not stop the rookie WR from producing at least one score in the Wild Card round.
Josh Allen (BUF) 50+ Rushing Yards (+180)
The Super Bowl window is wide open for Josh Allen and the Bills, but they face arguably the toughest matchup in the Wild Card round. After losing the division title race, Buffalo must go to Jacksonville to face the white-hot Jaguars.
Jacksonville has won eight straight games, the second-longest active win streak in the league. The Jags are also 7-2 at home this season, and 10-2 against AFC opponents.
To beat the Jags, Buffalo needs an MVP-level performance from Allen. The reigning MVP should be well-rested for this game after only playing one snap last week.
Allen’s rushing ability is a major reason the Bills led the league with 159.6 rushing YPG this year.
It will be tough to find running room against a Jags defense that allowed just 85.6 YPG on the ground, the fewest in the league. On the other hand, Allen led all QBs in rushing yards this season and averaged 5.2 YPC. With that in mind, Allen is a good bet to top 50+ rushing yards (+180) this week.
TreVeyon Henderson (NE) Longest Rush Over 14.5 Yards (-115)
Drake Maye makes his playoff debut against Justin Herbert and the Chargers this weekend. Maye and the Patriots were undefeated on the road, but just 6-3 at home this season.
One of the major factors that helped the Patriots down the stretch this season was the emergence of rookie RB TreVeyon Henderson. The former Ohio State RB finished second among rookies with 911 rushing yards and averaged 5.1 YPC this season.
Henderson also led all rookies with nine rushing TDs and had six rushes of 20+ yards this season.
The breakout rookie is listed at over/under 14.5 yards for his longest rush attempt this weekend. He has had at least 10 carries in nine of the team’s last 10 games, and Henderson racked a long of 15 or more yards in six games this season.
LA only allowed 105.4 rushing YPG this season, but Henderson’s speed makes him a threat to take any carry to the house, and I recommend the over on this Wild Card player prop.
Jaylen Warren (PIT) Over 65.5 Scrimmage Yards (-115)
Jaylen Warren failed to hit 1,000 rushing yards this season, but he did lead the Steelers with 1,291 yards from scrimmage. He has at least 62 scrimmage yards in all but four games this year.
Warren should see plenty of work in the Steelers’ Wild Card matchup with Houston. The Texans’ top-ranked defense has been stingy all season, but Warren’s high volume of touches makes him a good bet to cover the over on this 65.5 scrimmage yards prop.
He played in 16 games this season, and Warren had double-digit touches in each appearance. Aaron Rodgers must get rid of the ball quickly to avoid the Texans’ pass rush, and Warren has been one of his favorite dump-off options.
A handful of catches and his usual 10+ carries will allow Warren to cover the over on 65.5 scrimmage yards.

Chicago Bears Over 23.5 Points Scored (-107)
Chicago split with Green Bay this season, but the Bears’ win over the Packers in Week 16 helped them clinch the division. Caleb Williams and company are listed at over/under 23.5 points scored in the rubber match with Green Bay this weekend.
The Bears were held to 21 and 22 points in their first two games against Green Bay. However, now that Chicago’s receivers are healthier, the Bears’ offense should have an easier time moving the ball.
Green Bay’s defensive injuries will also make it tougher for the Packers to slow down the Bears’ passing attack. Chicago averaged 25.9 PPG this season, and it will top 23.5 points again this weekend.
Philadelphia Eagles Do Not Win Both Halves (-275)
The defending Super Bowl champion Eagles survived multiple rough patches this season to secure back-to-back NFC East titles. Philadelphia faces a familiar foe in the opening this weekend with the 49ers coming to town.
San Francisco lost to Philly in the NFC title game the last time they met in the 2022-2023 playoffs. However, the 49ers dominated the Eagles the next season, winning 42-19. The 49ers are 2-1 in Philly since 2021.
Philadelphia’s offensive struggles resulted in two multi-game losing streaks this season. The 49ers, on the other hand, overcame multiple key injuries on both sides of the ball and nearly secured the number one seed. The Eagles should win the game, but they will not win both halves (-275) this week against San Fran.
Los Angeles Chargers +3.5 in the 1st Half (-136)
The Chargers are searching for their first playoff win of the Justin Herbert era. To get that win this week, they must overcome the odds and upset the two-seeded Patriots.
LA is getting 4.0 points for the game and is listed as a 3.5-point underdog in the first half.
Part of the Chargers’ struggles this year was due to injuries to key offensive players. Some of those players, including rookie RB Omarion Hampton, returned in the final weeks of the season.
A resurgent offense will help the Chargers keep the game close early. However, Herbert’s struggles in the second half of playoff games are concerning. I suggest betting on the Chargers to cover in the first half rather than the game as a whole.
Houston Texans Win Both Halves (+260)
Houston’s defense has carried the team all season. The Texans must lean heavily on their defense again this week with a road matchup in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh has not lost at home on Monday since 1991, winning 23 straight games on MNF. On the other hand, Pittsburgh barely snuck into the playoffs after clinching the AFC North thanks to a missed field goal from Ravens’ rookie Tyler Loop.
The Steelers’ offense has been a struggle to watch all year, averaging just 305.6 YPG this year, the eighth-fewest in the league. Houston’s defense, for comparison, allowed the fewest yards (277.2 YPG) and points (17.4 PPG) per game this season.
Houston will shut down the Steelers’ struggling offense, allowing the Texans to win both halves (+260) against Pittsburgh this week.
