I discuss the latest NFL Wild Card odds below. In addition to breaking down the current betting lines, I will also highlight my favorite picks for Super Wild Card Week 2026.

Houston Texans vs. Pittsburgh SteelersTexans (-185) vs. Steelers (+151)Texans -3.5 (-102)

The Denver Broncos (14-3) and the Seattle Seahawks (14-3) both earned byes in the opening round. They will host the lowest remaining seeds in their respective conferences in the Divisional round.

Matthew Stafford and the LA Rams are the biggest favorite in round one, laying 10.5 points against the Panthers in Carolina.

Two games, Packers vs. Bears and Bills vs. Jaguars, are essentially pick’ems this week. Green Bay and Buffalo are both 1.0-point road favorites, but the moneylines for these matchups are even or close to it.

Philadelphia and New England are the only home favorites of the weekend. The Eagles and Patriots are laying 5.0 and 4.0 points, respectively.

Best Wild Card Weekend NFL ML Picks (Straight Up)

Icon of football
  • New England Patriots (-210)
  • Houston Texans (-185)

New England fell short of the number one seed, but with a little help in round two, they can still have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs in the AFC. Before the Pats can worry about the AFC Championship game, MVP frontrunner Drake Maye and company must dispatch the Chargers this week.

The Pats are -210 home favorites over the Chargers. LA rested Justin Herbert in Week 18, but their offensive line injuries are a significant concern. New England can and will get after Herbert in this game, securing a win and advancing to round two.

Another favorite who will win outright in round one is Houston. The Texans are -185 road favorites in Pittsburgh on Monday.

Pittsburgh is 22-3 on Mondays under Mike Tomlin, and they have never lost at home on MNF with Tomlin as the coach. However, that streak will end this week against the Texans’ defense. Houston’s pass rush will shut down Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers offense, improving to 3-0 in the Wild Card round with C.J. Stroud at quarterback.

Wild Card Weekend NFL Picks ATS

Icon of football
  • Carolina Panthers +10.5 (-111)
  • Chicago Bears +1.0 (-114)

Carolina lost to Tampa Bay as an underdog in Week 18, but thanks to a three-way tiebreaker, the Panthers won the NFC South. The Panthers are now 10.5-point underdogs to the visiting LA Rams.

Bryce Young and the Panthers were also 10.5-point underdogs when they hosted the Rams in Week 13. Young’s two passing TDs helped Carolina secure a 31-28 upset, and the Panthers’ defense emphatically ended Matthew Stafford’s record-setting streak of TDs without an interception.

If Carolina can replicate its success from their last meeting, the Panthers can at least cover the 10.5-point spread on Saturday.

Chicago is also a home underdog, but the Bears are only getting 1.0 point against the visiting Packers. The Bears split with their division rival during the regular season.

Caleb Williams’ late-game heroics helped Chicago beat Green Bay in overtime in Week 16. The Packers’ defensive injuries will make it challenging to stop Williams from doing the same thing this weekend. The Bears will end their two-game losing streak by taking down the Packers on Saturday.

Best Wild Card Weekend NFL Upset Picks

Icon of football
  • Jacksonville Jaguars (-104)
  • San Francisco 49ers (+190)

Jacksonville’s eight-game winning streak is the second-longest active streak in the league. The Jags’ current streak includes double-digit wins over the Chargers and the Broncos. Despite being one of the most impressive teams in the second half of the season, the Jaguars are slight underdogs at -104 against the visiting Bills (-117).

Josh Allen is a phenomenal playoff QB, but the Bills’ defense will struggle to stop the red-hot Jags’ offense. Trevor Lawrence, who has played like an MVP since November, will secure the upset win at home.

The 49ers are listed as +190 road underdogs this week against the Eagles. Philadelphia (11-6) is the defending Super Bowl champion, but the Eagles have struggled mightily this season. Half of the Eagles’ losses came at home this season, and four of their six losses were to NFC opponents.

San Francisco was nearly the number one seed, and it has Christian McCaffrey. A heavy commitment to the run should give the 49ers the edge this weekend against an Eagles team that allowed the 11th-most rushing YPG this season.

NFL Wild Card Weekend Predictions

Icon of football
  • Rams (-575) vs. Panthers (+410)
  • Packers (-110) vs. Bears (-110)
  • Bills (-117) vs. Jaguars (-104)
  • 49ers (+190) vs. Eagles (-240)
  • Chargers (+170) vs. Patriots (-210)
  • Texans (-185) vs. Steelers (+151)

The Rams (-575) are heavy favorites to avenge their loss to the Panthers this weekend. Los Angeles’s struggles down the stretch prevent the Rams from winning the number one seed, but they still have the second-best Super Bowl odds in the NFC.

Covering a 10.5-point spread is easier said than done, especially in the playoffs. However, Stafford and the Rams are a safe bet to secure a win on Super Wild Card Weekend.

The Bears (-110) are another intriguing pick this weekend. Chicago is a slight point spread underdog, but the moneyline odds for this NFC North matchup are a pick’em.

Williams and the Bears lost back-to-back games to end the season, which does not inspire much confidence. On the other hand, the Packers bring a four-game losing streak into this Wild Card matchup. Green Bay’s injuries, especially on defense, will keep the Packers from winning this weekend.
