Houston Texans vs. Seattle Seahawks | Texans (+160) vs. Seahawks (-196) | Seahawks -3.5 (-105) |
Kansas City’s massive win over Detroit rocketed Patrick Mahomes to the top of the MVP odds boards. The Chiefs’ early-season turnaround is a significant reason they are 12.0-point favorites over the Raiders this weekend.
KC is the biggest favorite, but they are not the only heavy favorite this week. New England (-7.0), Denver (-6.5), and Green Bay (-6.5) are all laying more than a touchdown this weekend.
The trend of MNF doubleheaders continues this weekend as Tampa Bay visits Detroit and the Seahawks host the Texans. Detroit and Seattle are 5.0 and 3.5-point home favorites, respectively.

Week 7 NFL Picks
Here are my NFL picks for Week 7, using odds from the top NFL betting sites.
Best Week 7 NFL ML Picks (Straight Up)
Cleveland (1-5) hosts Miami (1-5) in a battle of one-win teams this Sunday. Despite their record, the Browns’ defense has been outstanding this season, especially at home. Cleveland’s defense will harass the Dolphins for 60 minutes, and Dillon Gabriel will get the first win of his NFL career.
The Panthers (3-3) have ridden Rico Dowdle’s two-game explosion to two straight wins. Carolina is a -133 favorite this weekend against the Jets (0-6). The Panthers have not won on the road this season, but New York has not won a game period, making Carolina the safer bet this weekend.
New England (4-2) is atop the AFC East and listed at -340 to beat the Tennessee Titans (1-5) this weekend. The Titans fired their coach, Brian Callahan, and could get a spark from their interim this week. However, Mike Vrabel, who was fired as the Titans coach after the 2023 season, also has plenty of motivation to win this weekend and will lead the Pats to a victory in Tennessee this week.
Week 7 NFL Picks ATS
Green Bay looked sluggish after its bye week, failing to cover its Week 6 ATS odds in its 27-18 win over the Bengals. They are 6.5-point favorites this week over the Cardinals in Arizona. The Kyler Murray-less Cardinals were surprisingly competitive in their loss last week, but the Packers will cover the 6.5 points against Arizona this week.
The Raiders improved to 2-4 last week and are getting 12.0 points this week against the Chiefs (3-3) in Kansas City. Mahomes and the Chiefs are better than their .500 record suggests, but KC is historically not good at covering double-digit spreads. Las Vegas will not win, but they can cover the 12.0-point spread in this divisional matchup.
Another underdog who can cover this weekend is Houston, which is getting 3.5 points against the Seahawks in Seattle. The Texans were on a bye last week, giving them extra time to prepare for this must-win game. Houston’s defense is allowing 12.2 PPG, and a low-scoring game will make it easier for the Texans to cover the spread this week.
Best Week 7 NFL Upset Picks
Minnesota was on a bye last weekend after spending back-to-back weeks overseas. Now, the Vikings are +112 home underdogs against the Eagles. The Eagles have dropped two straight games, and their struggles will continue this week with a loss to the Vikings in Minnesota.
Indianapolis pulled out a close win over the Cardinals last week, holding off Arizona for a 31-27 victory. Now, the Colts (5-1) are +105 underdogs against the Chargers in Los Angeles. LA has struggled against good teams this year, giving the Colts a great chance to pull off the road upset.
My final underdog this week is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+195). MVP candidate Baker Mayfield has helped the Bucs overcome their injury woes and earn a 5-1 record. They are underdogs in Detroit, but the Lions’ defense, which has its own injury problems, will not be able to stop Mayfield in the clutch.
NFL Week 7 Predictions
The Steelers (4-1) are the only team in the AFC North with a win in the last three weeks. Pittsburgh (-270) can take another step toward a division crown with a win over the Bengals (2-4) on Thursday Night Football this week. Cincy is better with Joe Flacco under center, but the Bengals are likely to lose their fifth straight game this week.
Los Angeles (-158) is also a road favorite this week as the Rams take on the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Both teams are 4-2, but the Jags are coming off a tough home loss to the Seahawks. On the bright side, Jacksonville’s defense, which leads the NFL in turnovers, will take advantage of a struggling Rams’ offense that could be without Puka Nacua, leading the Jags to an upset win.
The Giants are 2-1 with Jaxson Dart under center, officially putting the Broncos on upset alert this weekend. Denver will have its hands full trying to stop Cam Skattebo, and the Broncos could be jet-lagged after their trip to London last week. New York is a risky but worthwhile underdog in this contest.
