Week 3 is chock-full of great matchups that make for exciting NFL picks this weekend. The week starts with a Thursday night AFC East battle in Buffalo and ends with two Super Bowl contenders squaring off on Monday Night Football.

I will break down the latest odds for every game on the Week 3 schedule below. Additionally, I will share my updated NFL predictions and best bets for this week.

Detroit Lions vs. Baltimore Ravens Lions (+225) vs. Ravens (-290)Ravens -6.0 (-107)

Buffalo has scored 71 points combined in its first two games. So, it comes as no surprise that the Bills are the biggest favorites of the week at -12.0 against the Dolphins (0-2) this Thursday.

Sunday’s slate also includes divisional matchups, such as Falcons vs. Panthers, Texans vs. Jaguars, and Colts vs. Titans.

Injuries were a big part of many outcomes in Week 2, and they will play a major role this week, too. With both starters going down last week, it will be a battle of backup quarterbacks as the Bengals take on the Vikings in Minnesota. The Carson Wentz-led Vikes are home favorites over Jake Browning’s Bengals.

Week 3 NFL Picks

There are plenty of exciting betting options for this week’s games. Here are my favorite Week 3 NFL picks available at top NFL betting sites

Best Week 3 NFL ML Picks (Straight Up)

Icon of football
  • Indianapolis Colts (-190) – Bet now!
  • Los Angeles Chargers (-145) – Bet now!
  • Kansas City Chiefs (-285) – Bet now!

Indianapolis is an early leader for the surprise team of the season. The Colts are 2-0, and Daniel Jones is playing better than he ever did in a Giants uniform. Indy is a -190 favorite over the Titans, and the Colts’ defense will smother rookie Cam Ward as the Colts move to 3-0.

Another moneyline favorite I am high on this week is the Chargers. Los Angeles is a -145 favorite against the Denver Broncos in LA’s third divisional game in as many weeks. Bo Nix’s sophomore slump will cost the Broncos again this week, and LA will pick up its third AFC West win of the year.

Speaking of AFC West teams, the Chiefs (0-2) take on the Giants (0-2) in New York on Sunday Night Football. Kansas City has struggled to start the year and has lost three consecutive games for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era. KC has a lot of issues to work out, but they will pick up their first win of the year in prime time this week.

Week 3 NFL Picks ATS

Icon of football
  • Miami Dolphins +12.0 (-112) – Bet now!
  • Philadelphia Eagles -3.5 (-103) – Bet now
  • Detroit Lions +6.0 (-114) – Bet now!

Next on my NFL picks for Week 3 are my top point-spread wagers.

Miami is the biggest underdog of the week at +12.0 points for their TNF matchup with the Bills. The Dolphins’ offense improved significantly last week, but they still lost to New England. Buffalo should win this game easily, but Miami’s offense is explosive enough to cover the 12.0-point spread in this divisional game.

Another point-spread I recommend taking this week is Eagles -3.5 against the Rams. Philadelphia’s offense has not looked great this year, but the Rams could be the perfect remedy for that. Saquon Barkley had over 200 rushing yards in both games against LA last year, and he will carry the Eagles to a win of at least 3.5 points this weekend.

Rounding out my NFL picks ATS this week are the Lions. Detroit is getting 6.0 points against the Ravens for their MNF matchup in Baltimore. The Lions offense put up 52 points last week, and the momentum from that performance will help them cover the spread this week.

Best Week 3 NFL Upset Picks

Icon of football
  • Cincinnati Bengals (+139) – Bet now!
  • New England Patriots (+102) – Bet now!
  • Dallas Cowboys (-103) – Bet now!

Two of my three NFL Week 2 upset picks pulled off the win. This week, I am picking the Bengals (+139), Patriots (+102), and Cowboys (-103) to win as underdogs.

Cincinnati lost Joe Burrow for most of the year after the MVP candidate suffered a grade 3 turf toe injury. On the bright side, Minnesota is also starting a backup in Carson Wentz. Jake Browning has had success in short stints for the Bengals before, and Cincy’s playmakers are good enough to beat Minnesota this week.

New England earned its first win under coach Mike Vrabel last week with a 33-27 win in Miami. The Patriots are home underdogs this week against the Steelers. Pittsburgh’s normally stout defense has been unrecognizable this season, and New England will defend home field this weekend.

Rounding out my underdog picks for Week 3 are the Cowboys, who picked up their first win of the year with Sunday’s 40-37 shootout victory in overtime. Dallas is on the road this week against the 0-2 Bears, who were blown out by the Lions last week. The Cowboys should pick up the road win and improve to 2-1 under Brian Schottenheimer.

NFL Week 3 Predictions

  • Buffalo Bills (-800)
  • Atlanta Falcons (-250)
  • Green Bay Packers (-430)
  • Houston Texans (-105)
  • Cincinnati Bengals (+139)
  • New England Patriots (+102)
  • Philadelphia Eagles (-195)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-360)
  • Indianapolis Colts (-190)
  • Washington Commanders (-186)
  • Los Angeles Chargers (-145)
  • Seattle Seahawks (-390)
  • Dallas Cowboys (-103)
  • San Francisco 49ers (-130)
  • Kansas City Chiefs (-285)
  • Baltimore Ravens (-290)

Green Bay (-430) is my lock of the week. The Packers’ ML odds do not offer much value, but their defense should shut down the Browns on Sunday. Cleveland’s defense will also provide a good test for the Packers’ offense.

The Texans’ surprising 0-2 start has alarm bells ringing in Houston. On the bright side, C.J. Stroud and company have a great opportunity to address concerns in their Week 3 matchup against the Jaguars. Jacksonville lost to Cincy, who was without Joe Burrow for most of the game, and they will drop another game this week against Houston.

Washington (-186) is a risky bet heading into Week 3. If Jayden Daniels is healthy enough to play, the Commanders should easily beat Las Vegas. On the other hand, if Daniels is out, then the Raiders could make an intriguing underdog pick.
