Who will win the French Open according to top tennis betting sites like BetUS? Based on the betting odds, bookmakers think Carlos Alcaraz will win the Men’s Singles, while the No. 1 favorite to win the Women’s tournament is Iga Swiatek.

Men’s Singles Odds

BetUS is the sportsbook that offers the best odds for the Men’s Singles tournament. While most other online betting sites are giving minus-money odds on Carlos Alcaraz, this site is giving +120.

This sportsbook’s oddsmakers think the Spanish sensation will lead a battle for the clay court crown with Jannik Sinner, who’s priced at +250. BetUS also lists Novak Djokovic (+700) and Alexander Zverev (+750) as candidates with good chances to triumph in Paris.

Women’s Singles Odds

Iga Swiatek – who won last year’s tournament – is the No. 1 favorite to triumph this June. She’s priced at +120, with Aryna Sabalenka being her biggest rival at +250. The only other two players with odds shorter than +1000 are Mirra Andreeva (+700) and Coco Gauff (+750) – both of whom were stopped in the semifinal last year. 

Gauff was stopped by Iga Swiatek, while Andreeva’s journey was cut short by Jasmine Paolini whose 2025 French Open odds are +3300, suggesting that she won’t get as far this time around.

Top 2025 French Open Favorites

With Rafael Nadal retiring last year, you can think of Carlos Alcaraz as the new king of clay. He won the previous edition of the French Open – the only Grand Slam tournament played on clay courts. 

He did it by knocking out several other elite players, including this year’s No. 2 betting favorite, Jannik Sinner. Another reason why Alcaraz is favored to win is that he’s been brilliant on this type of surface in 2025. 

He’s already won a couple of clay-court tourneys this year, including ATP Barcelona, which is generally thought of as a dress rehearsal for the French Grand Slam.

However, he hasn’t played much this year. In fact, after winning the Australian Open in January, his first competitive match was at the ATP Rome on May 9. The reason? He was suspended for three months after testing positive for a banned substance. 

Another star who hasn’t played much this year is Novak Djokovic. The reason? The fatigue caused by his age. The Serbian player is 38 years old, and he’s been playing professionally since 2004. 

When it comes to the women’s tournament, Aryna Sabalenka is the main contender. She’s sitting on the WTA throne with over 11,000 points – only two other female players have passed that mark, Serena Williams and Iga Swiatek.

In the first week of May, Sabalenka won the WTA Madrid, beating Coco Gauff in the Final. Speaking of Gauff, the American player is the No. 3 favorite to win the French Open. 

Her odds are +700, but I don’t think there’s much value in backing her. If she runs into Swiatek or Sabalenka, her French adventure will end.

Best French Open Sleepers for 2025

If you’re looking for French Open picks with odds of +1000 or more, I have a couple for you. While I don’t claim these bets are 100% certain to win, I do think you should take a closer look at them. 

Casper Ruud (+1200)

I honestly don’t understand why his French Open 2025 odds aren’t shorter than +1200. The Norwegian player is someone who thrives on clay, the evidence being that he played in two Roland Garros semifinals in the last three years.

Another reason to pay close attention to him is that he’s the one who won the ATP Madrid, a clay tournament played a few weeks before the French Open.  

Jasmine Paolini (+3300)

My favorite sleeper bet for the 2025 French Open Women’s Singles is last year’s finalist, Jasmine Paolini. She did get obliterated by Swiatek in the Final last year, winning just three Games along the way. 

More recently, we saw her lose two times to Sabalenka this year, which explains why her French Open odds are +3300. Nevertheless, for those looking for longshot bets, she looks like a fantastic option.

For that to happen, he needs to defend his French Open title, which is exactly what I predict will happen. There won’t be any changes on the Men’s Singles throne, but I think Roland Garros will get a new queen. 

My pick is Aryna Sabalenka, who’s been in brilliant form in 2025. Swiatek is more loved by the crowd, but Sabalenka thrives under pressure.
