Every AP Top 25 team is in action this week, but no matchup is more highly anticipated than the annual showdown between Ohio State and Michigan. The top-ranked Buckeyes are 10.0-point favorites, but they have not beaten the Wolverines since 2019.
Nine teams in the Top 10 are on the road this weekend. The lone exception is #8 Oklahoma, which is a 10.0-point favorite over the visiting LSU Tigers.
This weekend includes five ranked vs. ranked matchups, with the higher seed favored in four of those games. #12 Vanderbilt is the only higher seed that is an underdog, as the Commodores are getting 3.0 points on the road against #18 Tennessee.

Straight Up/ML Picks
#3 Texas A&M heads to Austin to take on #16 Texas. The Aggies are undefeated this season, including a 7-0 record against SEC opponents, so it is not surprising that they are -128 favorites over the Longhorns. Texas has improved a lot since the start of the season, but their playoff hopes will end Friday at the hands of their in-state rival.
Speaking of teams hoping to sneak into the playoffs, #13 Miami (-275) can add to its resume with a win this week against #24 Pittsburgh. The Hurricanes have the better overall record at 9-2, but Pitt (8-3) only has one conference loss compared to Miami’s two. Pitt is also coming off a huge win over then-#16 Georgia Tech, but they will not drop two ranked teams in a row.
#17 Virginia is a -380 favorite over an unranked Virginia Tech team. VT is just 3-8 this season, including a 2-5 record against ACC opponents. The Cavaliers (9-2) will lock up their spot in the conference championship game with a win over the Hokies on Saturday.
Best ATS Picks
#15 Michigan is getting 10.0 points as a home dog against #1 Ohio State in The Game. It has been over 2,100 days since the Buckeyes beat the Wolverines. While that streak is likely to come to an end, Michigan should keep this game within single digits against its biggest rival.
The fifth-ranked Oregon Ducks (10-1) are laying 6.5 points against Washington (8-3) this week. All three of the Huskies’ losses this season have been against Big Ten opponents. Eight of the Ducks’ 10 wins this year have been by at least 6.5 points, and they will cover that mark again this week.
#25 SMU is listed as a 13.5-point road favorite against Cal on Saturday night. The Mustangs have just one loss against ACC opponents this year, while the 6-5 Golden Bears have four. Four of Cal’s five losses have been by double-digits, and SMU will give them a fifth when they cover the 13.5-point spread.
Top CFB Upset Picks
Alabama enters this year’s Iron Bowl as the 10th-ranked team in the AP, while Auburn is unranked at 5-6 so far this season. Auburn is a +180 underdog, but the Tigers’ defense can frustrate a Crimson Tide passing game that has struggled at times this season. The Tigers can deal a major blow to Alabama’s playoff hopes by handing the Crimson Tide their second loss in the last three weeks.
#12 Vanderbilt easily covered its Week 13 spread, but the Commodores are +122 road underdogs against #18 Tennessee. The Volunteers are 0-3 against ranked opponents this year, and all of those losses were also against SEC opponents. Vandy will take down its in-state rival, ending the Vols’ six-game winning streak in this rivalry.
Kansas is a +360 underdog against the visiting #14 Utah Utes. The Jayhawks are 3-5 in Big 12 play, but Utah’s defense just gave up 47 points to K-State in a game where the Wildcats had over 400 yards rushing. If KU can exploit similar holes in the rushing game, it can pull off an upset over the Utes.
Top Week 14 College Football Prop Bets
The best NCAAF betting sites are loaded with player props for rivalry week, too, including a wager for Nate Frazier to score a touchdown at -186 odds. Frazier leads the Bulldogs with 701 rushing yards and has scored five touchdowns on the ground. He also has the best odds of any Georgia player to score this weekend against Georgia Tech.
#2 Indiana’s E.J. Williams Jr. is listed at -115 to have over 34.5 receiving yards this weekend against Purdue. Williams Jr. is third on the team with 404 receiving yards, but he is averaging over 12 YPR. The Hoosiers should spread the ball around against a soft Purdue defense that allows over 240 passing YPG to opposing teams.
Trinidad Chambliss’s rushing ability helped him take over the starting QB job for #6 Ole Miss this season. He is listed at -160 odds to have 40+ rushing yards against Mississippi State on Friday. Chambliss is averaging 40.4 rushing YPG, and he will top that mark against a Mississippi State defense that allows nearly 190 rushing YPG.
