Wolf Cub Slot Review
If cute animals are your thing, then it won’t take long for you to be won over by Wolf Cub from Net Entertainment. This is just about the least threatening wolf you are ever going to meet in yourlife, so don’t be expect any authentic savage wolf effects here.
Instead you get cheerful cartoon characters which increase in value from the owl, to the leopard, moose, bear and finally the little wolf cub, with the other symbols being wooden playing cardsuits. The action takes place in a snowy forest at night, with the cub sitting to the left of the reels and getting animated when a winning line is formed.

The wild symbol here is a frozen paw-print, and these can appear singly or stacked. They can show up in the main game and bonus game, and substitute for anything except the scatter.
That scatter symbol is a full moon, because, well, you know what wolves are like when there’s a full moon about. Howling at the moon, and all that, as you will hear when they appear on screen.
Three of these moon symbols anywhere on the reels unlocks your bonus round. When the free spin round has been activated, all the reels which have scatter symbols on them spin again, this timeeach with numbers on them.
After they spin, all the numbers are added together to determine how many free spins you get. Of course this means that entering the bonus round with 4 or even 5 scatters is going to earn you alot more spins – possibly up to a maximum of 115.
As you can probably tell, unlocking that bonus round is the key to making any kind of a profit from Wolf Cub. Once you start playing your free spins – and hopefully there are a lot of them –there is another feature which can appear.
This is the Blizzard Feature, and it is triggered if ever the first reel is stacked with the same symbol. When this happens, if there are any of the same symbols showing on other reels, they willmove towards the left of the screen.
All the spaces between are filled in with the same symbol, meaning that if you have symbols moving over from the far right hand side of the reels, some big wins are coming your way. Once again, getting the bonus round is crucial in this 20 payline slot.
This game is clearly aimed at the fluffy animal brigade, but it is quite good fun regardless on your feelings on our furry friends. The base game will become a little blah after a while, but ifyou unlock the bonus then you are onto a real winner.
The graphics are as well executed as you would expect from a Net Entertainment slot, even if this game doesn’t rank as one of their premier class releases. That being said, it’s a mildly diverting slot game with an awesome bonus round.
