Some Info About Their Company

Who owns and operates Roy Richie? How long have they been in business?

Roy Richie is owned and operated by BTM Entertainment Group Ltd. Casinos. They’re licensed to operate and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority.

They’ve been online since 2017.

How’s their reputation? What do others think of them?

They’re still pretty new, having launched in the first quarter (or two) of 2017. I found very few reviews covering either their casino or sportsbook.

It looks like they have a 3.5/5 rating on However, some of the reasons they give – such as the blank pages when you click a game tab – is due to the author’s ignorance, and not due to anything Roy Richie has done.

Roy Richie also has a 7.78/10 at There are no complaints, which isn’t shocking considering how new they are.

That’s about the extent of what I could find from legit review sites.

You can say their reputation is good. But the truth is that they’re a new brand, which means we need more time before we can really gauge how good or bad their reputation is.

Customer Support

How do you contact Roy Richie? When are they available?

You can contact Roy Richie using:

They have numerous country-specific phone numbers, too.
You can see the entire list on their contact page.

I contacted them to ask them questions about their promotions and sports betting limits. I received both responses quickly, so no complaints there.

What I didn’t like, though, is how they simply pointed me to their promotions and terms pages – which I said I already looked at. So, I felt like my questions went more or less unanswered.

What payment methods does Roy Richie accept?

You can make a deposit using the following options:

  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Bank transfers
  • Przelewy24
  • e-wallet (Skrill, Neteller)
  • AstroPayCard
  • Trustly
  • Boleto
  • Sofort
  • Giropay
  • InstaDebit

The minimum deposit is €10 for credit cards, e-wallets and wires. It’s €20 for bank transfers

First-time depositors can deposit no more than €1,000. After authentication you can deposit as much as €1,000 per transaction.

What are your cash out options? Are there any limits or fees?

You can cash out your winnings using one of the following options:

  • Bank Wire Transfer
  • Maestro
  • MasterCard
  • Neteller
  • Paysafe Card
  • Visa Debit
  • InstaDebit
  • Visa
  • Sofortuberwaisung
  • GiroPay
  • Boleto
  • Skrill
  • AstroPay Card
  • Trustly

The minimum cash out by bank transfer is €30. The minimum for Visa is €10. The max you can cash out is €5,000 per day (per card).

They say nothing about additional limits, nor do they say anything about progressive jackpot wins. Given who they’re licensed through, I wouldn’t be shocked if they paid progressive winners outright, though.

As for fees, all they say is they reserve the right to charge a 4% processing fee. But they say they “reserve the right,” which leads me to think it’s not guaranteed. That said, your mileage will vary.

Do they offer a welcome bonus? What are the terms?

There’s a welcome bonus for both sports bettors and casino players. Let’s start with the sportsbook offer first.

  • Sports Welcome Bonus – Make a deposit of €10 or more and receive a 100% match bonus up to €100.

The bonus funds will hit your account once you wager your deposit one (1) time on odds of 2.00 or higher.

Once you have the bonus money, you’ll need to wager that plus your deposit 10x on odds of 2.00 or higher before you can cash out or transfer it to one of their other products.

You’ll have 90 days to fulfill the bonus – anything left over will be forfeited.

  • Casino Welcome Bonus – Casino players will be able to claim as much as 500 over their first four deposits.

Here’s how the offer works:

  • 1st Deposit – Get a 100% match up to €200
  • 2nd Deposit – Get a 50% match up to €50
  • 3rd Deposit – Get a 50% match up to €50
  • 4th Deposit – Get a 50% match up to €200

The playthrough on each bonus is 20x the deposit and bonus (which isn’t terrible). You must fulfill their playthrough terms on slot machines online EXCEPT for these machines:

  • Simsalabim
  • Dead or Alive
  • Demolition Squad
  • Devils Delight
  • Ghost Pirates
  • Kings of Chicago
  • Victorious
  • Zombies
  • Blood Suckers

You need to go through each offer in order, and you’ll have 31 days from the time you make your first deposit to complete them all.

When I looked at their live casino main page, there’s an offer there for €200. But I didn’t find anything about it elsewhere on their site, including what the offer entailed and what the playthrough requirements are. So, I sent them an email.

They responded by giving me a link to the casino offer mentioned above. They didn’t say anything about the live casino offer. So, if you see it, don’t hold your breath – it may not be available.

What additional promotions can you claim?

There are only a couple of additional offers, and they’re all for the sportsbook. Here are the details:

  • Mobile Risk-Free Bet - Opt-in for their offer, then place your first mobile sports bet. If you lose your bet you’ll receive as much as €10 of your stake back.

The minimum bet you can place to qualify for this offer is €5 on odds of 1.60 or higher. They say nothing about a playthrough, but they do say that any bet that completes the requirements for a free bet may not later be the subject of a cash out.

I take this to mean that you cannot cash out the free bet itself. But you can use it to make bets that, if you win, you CAN cash out.

  • Cash Out - Cash out your bet earlier to minimize losses or take advantage of a potential upset.

To use this feature just head to the My Bets section. If the cash out feature is an option, all you need to do is click the button to claim your winnings.

Sometimes a partial cash out will be an option. If it is, an indicator will appear next to the cash out button. Just click on the slider to select how much you want to cash out – the rest will remain as your active bet.

Overall Thoughts

Not bad overall.

It’d be nice to see a few incentives for existing players – a reload bonus, or maybe some kind of comps or VIP program. I’d like to see a couple additional offers for casino players, too.

But Roy Richie is still new yet. There’s plenty of time to add more offers.

And what they have works for now. It’s hard to complain about a casino offer that’s broken up over 4 deposits, and only has a 20x (d+b) playthrough.

My biggest gripe is that you’ll only have 31 days to do it.

What sports and markets can you bet on? What types of bets do they accept?

Keep in mind the sports and markets they cover may change as sports go in and out of season. But here’s what they were covering when I reviewed them.

The sports you can find bets for include:

  • Football (Soccer)
  • Tennis
  • Basketball
  • Ice Hockey
  • Baseball
  • Aussie Rules
  • Badminton
  • Boxing
  • Cricket
  • Cycling
  • Darts
  • esports
  • Floorball
  • AM. Football
  • Golf
  • Handball
  • MMA
  • Motor Racing
  • Netball
  • Rugby League
  • Rugby Union
  • Snooker & Pool
  • Specials
  • Speedway
  • Surfing
  • Table Tennis
  • Volleyball
  • Winter Olympics
  • Winter Sports

The types of bets you can make include:

  • Singles
  • Combos
  • Systems
  • Handicaps
  • Each-Ways
  • Teasers
  • Fast Markets

This is amongst many other types of bets that will often be on a sport-by-sport basis.

Do they offer esports betting?

They do.

When I checked them out they covered International markets. Here are the games, leagues, etc. they covered when I was there.

  • CS:GO
  • Dota 2
  • League of Legends

Leagues and Tournaments

  • ESEA
  • Drew Arena
  • ELeague
  • ESL Pro League
  • Liga Pro
  • Dotapit League
  • ESL One
  • PGL Open
  • Perfect World Masters
  • SL I-League Invitational
  • LoL World Championships

Bet Types

  • Winner full time
  • Over/under full time
  • Outright
  • Finalists
  • Spread full time

They do offer live esports betting, too. There was only one match going when I reviewed Roy Richie, so it’s hard to say how robust their live esports betting is.

Overall, I’d say they have an average esports betting section. They don’t offer live streaming, or any other perks/features you might find at other esports betting sites.

They also don’t cover all the different games the better esports betting sites do.

That said, I think recreational esports bettors will be plenty happy here.

Do they offer live (in-play) betting? Do they stream matches?

They do offer live betting. The offered live action on the following sports when I was there:

  • Football
  • Tennis
  • Basketball
  • Baseball
  • esports
  • Golf
  • Handball
  • Rugby League
  • Snooker & Pool
  • Table Tennis

This is a well-rounded selection overall. And there was plenty more scheduled for later.

Unfortunately, I didn’t see any live streaming available.

What are their betting limits?

I sent them an email asking about their limits. The response I received was less than satisfactory – here’s what they said:

I would like to inform that, our trading department reserves the right to accept bets at their own discretion. More information about our terms and conditions you will find on our website.

It sounds like you’ll have to find out what their limits are when you go to place your bets.

Overall Thoughts

I’d say they have a decent sportsbook. There’s nothing here that made my jaw drop, but then again there’s nothing that turned me off about them, either.

They have an easy to use site that’s easy to navigate and is mobile friendly. Their mobile site looks like it’s laid out well and easy to use too.

I only wish they were a little more forthcoming about their betting limits.

Overall, if you like what you see above, I don’t see any reason not to check these guys out.

Casino Games

What software providers do they work with? What kinds of games can you play?

I found this surprising, but they only work with a couple of software providers – NetEnt, iSoftBet and Evolution Gaming.

This isn’t a bad thing – that’s not why I’m surprised.

I’m surprised because most international casinos work with 5-10+ different companies.

But NetEnt, iSoftBet and Evolution Gaming is more than enough. Between them you’ll have a robust selection of slots, table games, video poker machines and live casino games to play.

We’ll look at a few examples here in just a second.

What devices is their casino compatible with? Are they mobile compatible?

They have an instant play casino – which is where you play their games from your browser – which should be accessible from Windows and Macs. Basically, if you can use Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc., you should be good to go.

It looks like they have a mobile-friendly casino, too. No app is needed – just go to their website and you can play their games from your device’s browser.

Their mobile game selection is on the small side – only 59 games. Most of them are slots, which is no surprise. There are only 2 card games – one of which is blackjack, the other joker poker video poker.

It’d be nice to see more card, table and video poker games in the future. But considering they’re new, I think this is a reasonable start.

What are some examples of games you can play?

The following are some examples of games you’ll find at Roy Richie. Everything is categorized the same way you’ll find it on their casino, too.

We’ll include any thoughts we have after each section.

  • Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters
  • Skulls of Legend
  • Disco Double
  • Platoon
  • Rango and Jackpot Rango
  • Robo Smash
  • Paranormal Activity
  • Basic Instinct
  • Robin Hood
  • Jack and The Beanstalk
  • Rambo
  • Super Lady Luck
  • Alice Adventure
  • Gonzo’s Quest
  • Absolute Super Reels
  • Booster
  • Forest Mania
  • The Love Guru
  • Ninja Chef
  • Happy Birds
  • Twin Spin
  • Musketeers
  • Cloud Tales
  • Jack Hammer
  • Wisps
  • Cherry Trio
  • Jack Hammer 2
  • Bewitched
  • Beverly Hills 90210
  • Guns N Roses
  • Nacho Libre
  • Mega Boy
  • The Best Witch
  • Ambiance
  • Red Dragon Wild
  • Spooky Family
  • 24
  • Best Things in Life
  • Jester Trio
  • Hooks Heroes
  • Creature from The Black Lagoon
  • Beach
  • Big Bang
  • Alien Robots
  • Piggy Riches
  • Cosmic Fortune
  • Magic Portals
  • Space Wars
  • The Invisible Man
  • Wonky Wabbits
  • Frankenstein
  • Zombies
  • Theme Park
  • Evolution
  • Steam Tower
  • Victorious
  • Wild Water
  • Blood Suckers
  • Sparks
  • Neon Staxx

Honestly, if Roy Richie couldn’t or didn’t want to work with Microgaming, then I’m glad NetEnt is what they did choose to go with. They give you a nice mix of traditional slot games that you’ll find in between all the big name brand machines in a brick and mortar casino. But they also have many licensed slots, too.

For example, I found:

  • The Creature from the Black Lagoon (Universal)
  • Frankenstein (Universal)
  • 24 (hit TV show)
  • Rambo (Sylvester Stalone???)

But there are TONS of other slots I’d love to play. Wonky Wabbits is one, The Invisible Man is another, and anything to do with outer space works for me.

There were lots of NetEnt slots I didn’t see, though – but that could be because they don’t offer them yet, or because I can’t see all their games since I’m in the United States and didn’t create an account.

Live Casino

  • Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • Casino Holdem
  • Baccarat

You can look at this a couple different ways – they don’t offer nearly the number of live casino games other casinos do, or they cover the most popular games live casino players will want.

I prefer the latter AND I’m optimistic that it’s just a matter of time before they add more. Because both NetEnt and Evolution have live dealer games.

  • 3D Roulette
  • American Roulette
  • European Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Roulette Advanced
  • Silver Roulette
  • VIP Roulette

This isn’t the biggest roulette selection I’ve seen, but it’s pretty good for a new casino. Plus, on top of this they offer variations of the games in the list above. Those will include low, mid and high stakes, as well as a VIP variant.

Blackjack Games

  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • Blackjack
  • Blackjack Classic
  • Blackjack Pro
  • Double Exposure Blackjack
  • Multi-Hand Super 7’s Blackjack
  • Single Deck Blackjack
  • Multi-Hand Blackjack VIP

Similar to the roulette section, there are several more blackjack games they could add. But this is an okay start. You’ll find additional variants of these titles that include low, mid and high stakes tables.

More Games

  • All American Video Poker
  • Baccarat Pro
  • Caribbean Stud
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Deuces Wild Video Poker
  • Jacks or Better Video Poker
  • Joker Wild Video Poker
  • Oasis Poker Pro
  • Pontoon Pro
  • Punto Banco
  • TXS Hold’m

I have a couple qualms with this section.

For one thing, ‘more games’ is about as vague as a description could be. What happened to table games, card games, or video poker games?

And on that note, why are all these games lumped into one category?

I feel like there are a lot of games missing, too. I count 4 video poker titles. With a couple searches on our site you can easily find a casino that offers 6-10+.

This is something I’ve noticed across most NetEnt casinos, though. So, it’s not terribly shocking – just disappointing.

But there are several other games I didn’t find here, either. I searched for keno, bingo, scratch cards and craps – didn’t find any of them.

Again, it’s possible they have them tucked away, only accessible once you create your account. But that makes no sense. Why display 80% (a random number) of your games, but hide the rest? That could turn people off from joining.

Outside of those complaints, though, I like their casino. There’s plenty of games to choose from, and there’s something for just about everyone.

What do we think of Roy Richie? Do we recommend them to our readers?

Yes and no.

However, they can use more promotions – especially for casino players. They also have no VIP, comp or rewards program I could find.

There’s also nothing terribly different about them. So, the question I ask is, why should you sign up here – at a riskier, brand-new casino – when there are loads of other established sportsbooks and casinos you can join instead.

Which is probably what I would opt to do first – join an established sportsbook and casino.

But if you liked what you read above, and don’t agree nor care about the complaints I have with them, I see no reason why you shouldn’t gamble here.
