Our 2022 Lucky 31 Casino Review

The following is our Lucky 31 Casino review. We cover all the details we feel our readers want to know before deciding to join an online casino. Things like what promotions they offer, games you can play, and whether they run a legit business.

What we found is that they don’t have lots of promotions, and the bonuses they do have aren’t very big. Oh, and they don’t offer your traditional VIP program, either.

That all said, we still think Lucky31.com is worth a look.

But, ultimately, you’ll have to decide that for yourself. And the best way to do that is to read our review from start to finish.

Lucky 31 does the same thing as Bodog88, in that they have multiple casinos using different URLs. For example, Lucky has one casino at Lucky311.com. And while I haven’t checked it with a fine-toothed comb, it looks like it’s identical to Lucky31.com, which is what we cover in the review below.

Who owns and operates Lucky 31? How long have they been in business?

Lucky 31 is owned and operated by STARPAY LTD. They’ve been in business since 2012 – about 5 years now.

Some of the other casinos under the Starfish Media N.V. network of casinos includes Casino Extra, Casino Estrella and Dublin Bet.

They’re licensed in Curacao.

How’s their reputation? What do others think of them?

They have an average to above-average reputation.

ThePogg.com doesn’t recommend them. Lucky 31 doesn’t have a UKGC license, so the staff at ThePogg.com didn’t feel comfortable with testing them. Between that and Lucky 31’s apparent lack of interest in communicating with them, The Pogg said they couldn’t recommend them.

I’m not sure I agree since Lucky 31 not only responds to complaints at AskGamblers.com, but also suggests to players that they file complaints there whenever they have a problem.

And players have; though there are only 5 complaints; 4 have been resolved, and the last one was rejected (in favor of the casino).

Lucky also has a 9.31/10 rating on AG.com. They responded to all the player reviews and complaints I saw there, too.

Then there’s LatestCasinoBonuses.com, where they have a 3.5/5 rating.

Lucky31.com isn’t endorsed or accredited on WizardOfOdds.com or Casinomeister.com. But there are no problems or complaints from either source, either.

And nothing turned up in Google when I searched for scams or scandals.

So, yeah – they have an average to above-average reputation.

Most if not all the most common options are accepted, though.

For example:

  • Paysafe Card
  • Ukash
  • Visa
  • Entropay
  • Przelewy24
  • Sofortuberwaisung,
  • GiroPay
  • Bancontact/Mister Cash
  • Trustly
  • Skrill
  • Bitcoin
  • TrustPay

What are your cash out options? Are there any limits or fees?

For cash outs, you can use:

  • MasterCard
  • Neteller
  • Visa
  • Skrill
  • Bitcoin

Withdrawals over €1,000 will require verification documents. You can cash out a max of €5,000 per week and €20,000 per month, unless they say otherwise.

Do they offer a welcome bonus? What are the terms?

  • They have a 131% match bonus up to €131.

It’s not a large bonus by any means, but the flipside is that it’s within reach of just about anyone.

But there are a few terms you need to agree to first (here always is):

  • The minimum deposit is $10.

The playthrough is 30x the deposit and bonus. However, this depends on the games you choose to play. Each game contributes a different amount to the playthrough. Here’s how Lucky31.com structures things:

Games Stake % Contribution
Slots 100%
Table Games 0%
Video Poker 30%
Live Casino 0%
Real Casino 25%
Other Games 50%

You’ll have 30 days from when you receive the bonus to complete the wager requirements. Otherwise you’ll forfeit (the rest of) your bonus.

Many of these terms will also apply to the offers mentioned in the next section. But you can (and should) see all their bonus terms for yourself, which you can do by going to their website under promotions.

What additional promotions can you claim?

Here are the other offers you can claim at Lucky 31.

  • Reload Friday – This is a 10% match bonus up to €100. The minimum deposit is €20 and you’ll need to wager the deposit and bonus money over 1x before you can cash out. Any bonus money left after 7 days will be forfeited.
  • Reload Wednesday – Make a deposit of €20 or higher and receive a 10% match bonus up to €100. This has a 1x rollover, and any money left-over after 7 days will be forfeited.
  • Monday Spins – Get up to 100 free spins. The amount you receive depends on how much you deposit. Here are the benchmarks so you know what to aim for:
    • Deposit €20-49: 15 Free Spins!
    • Deposit €50-99: 40 Free Spins!
    • Deposit €100+: 100 Free Spins!

What’s neat about this offer is that it looks like the slot machine the free spins are available on changes. I’m not sure how often, since they only cover the month of July.

Two other things – any money won from free spins needs to be wagered 30x before you can cash it out. And any free spins not used after 3 days will expire.

  • Surprise Happy Hour – Check in throughout the week and you can win a 25% match bonus on all your deposits during their Surprise Happy Hour promotion. You can claim as much as €100 per deposit and €1,000 per day. The deposit and bonus need to be wagered 30x, and any money left after 7 days will expire.
  • Monthly Spin Mission – The first week of every month you’ll have an objective to complete on a specific slot machine. You continue playing until you complete it, and then you’ll be placed on the leaderboard. Leaderboard placement is based on the number of spins it takes to complete the task. The top 25 win a prize.

The top 30 will also qualify for a raffle that contains a €250 prize pool

Do they have a comps and/or VIP program?

They have some sort of points program. But they don’t seem to advertise it – I managed to find it in their FAQ section.

It’s called SuperPoints – you get awarded for doing things such as:

  • Registering
  • Daily Login
  • Depositing
  • Playing
    • Table games
    • Slots
    • Video poker
    • Live casino
  • Big Win (50x bet)

And so on.

The points you earn depend on the task. You can see the tasks and points dished out on their website. Lucky 31 also says the items may change from time to time.

You can use the points you accrue to turn in for things like free spins, deposit bonuses and no deposit bonuses.

This is a little different than what most casinos offer, but there’s nothing wrong with that.

What software providers do they work with? What kinds of games can you play?

They work with some of the top software providers in the online gambling industry. Those include:

  • Microgaming
  • NetEnt
  • BetSoft
  • Visionary iGaming
  • Yggdrasil Gaming

You’ll be able to play all the standard stuff – slots, blackjack, roulette, video poker and so on. But they also offer live dealer games, which is a nice bonus.

We’ll look at some specific examples of games you can play here in just a minute.

What devices is their casino compatible with? Are they mobile compatible?

They have an instant play casino. This means you play their games from your browser.

Most common browsers will work – Safari, Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, etc. But they recommend you use Google Chrome in their FAQ section.

Their casino is mobile-friendly, too. However, your experience will be hit or miss depending on the games you play – and, more importantly – the software providers behind the games.

For example, I loaded up a roulette game that didn’t appear to be mobile optimized. I was able to play the game okay, but many buttons were cut off or not on the screen at all.

Then I loaded up a blackjack game from NetEnt and IT WAS mobile optimized. The game looked and worked great – just as it should.

So, one thing that’d be great to see in the future is having some of the games either improved to operate better on mobile devices, or maybe removed from the (mobile) casino altogether.

What are some examples of games you can play?

Here are some examples of games you can play at Lucky 31. However, keep in mind we’re barely scratching the surface here.

After all, they have more than 800 games.

  • French Roulette
  • European Roulette
  • Roulette Advanced
  • American Roulette
  • European Roulette VIP
  • Common Draw Roulette
  • English Roulette

They have 12+ roulette variations – more than I can recall seeing from any casino I’ve reviewed recently.

  • VIP Blackjack
  • European Blackjack
  • Double Exposure Blackjack
  • American Blackjack
  • Single Deck Blackjack Double
  • Single Deck Blackjack
  • Pirate 21 Blackjack
  • Pontoon Blackjack
  • 21 Burn Blackjack

They also have 12+ blackjack variants.

Live Dealer

  • Dublin Blackjack
  • Live Roulette
  • Speed Roulette
  • Roulette Live (Dragonara)
  • Immersive Roulette
  • Grand Casino Bucharest
  • Batumi International Roulette
  • Batumi Turbo Roulette
  • Turbo Roulette + Lucky Ball
  • Blackjack Party
  • Baccarat
  • Baccarat Squeeze
  • War of Bets
  • Bet on Poker
  • Wheel of Fortune

This is easily one of the largest live dealer sections I’ve seen. They have lots of game variants, as well as both men and women dealers – some that appear to be from different countries.

Video Poker

  • Joker Poker
  • Jackpot Poker
  • Deuces Wild
  • Jacks or Better
  • 10s or Better
  • Split Way Royal
  • Joker Poker Pyramid Poker
  • Jacks or Better Pyramid Poker
  • All Aces
  • Double Double Bonus Poker

A good selection, and there’s plenty more behind the curtain, I think. Video poker players will be plenty happy here.

More Games

This covers random options such as:

  • Klub Keno
  • Bingo Bonanza
  • Traditional Keno
  • Instant Keno
  • Krazy Keno
  • Super Wheel
  • Money Wheel

  • Vikings Go Berserk
  • Bigfroot
  • Grim Muerto
  • Frankenslots Monster
  • Boomanji
  • Holmes And The Stolen Stones
  • Vikings Go Wild
  • Golden Ticket
  • Dead Or Alive
  • Wild Water
  • Greedy Goblins
  • Mega Moolah
  • Mega Gems
  • Jurassic World
  • Redroo
  • The Angler
  • Beat Bots
  • Magic Shoppe
  • Hellboy
  • Seasons
  • Copy Cats
  • Scruffy Duck
  • Fairytale Legends
  • Candy Dreams
  • Power Plant
  • The Slotfather Part II
  • Yeti Hunt I3d
  • Jungle Spirit
  • Beauty & The Beast
  • Zodiac
  • Fruit Vs Candy
  • Pollen Party
  • Troll Hunters
  • 7sins
  • Judge Dredd
  • Foxin’ Wins
  • Super Heroes
  • Double Dragons
  • Flying Pigs
  • When Pigs Fly

There are tons of fun looking slot machines here. I noticed some from nearly every theme imaginable.

For example:

  • Music
  • Animals
  • Underwater
  • Sports
  • Diamonds / Money
  • Outer Space
  • Fantasy
  • Fairytales / Fables
  • Different Cultures
  • Horror / Scary
  • Cars
  • Theme Parks

And loads more.

And given the different software providers, you’ll have no problem finding the type of slot machine you like to play – be it a slot with features, wilds, bonus rounds, mini games and more.

In July 2016, it came to everyone’s attention that BetSoft wasn’t doing business above board when they refused to pay a customer the progressive jackpot they won. BetSoft claimed the player breached some random terms (not being able to win during a free spin round), which wasn’t in their terms and conditions until AFTER they said it was.

We recommend exercising caution when playing their slot machines – especially if you choose to play progressives.

What do we think of Lucky31.com? Do we recommend them to our readers?

Yeah, I think so.

They’re a bit of a sleeper casino. I never heard of them until I was tasked with reviewing them. But they have okay promotions (they could be a tad bigger), as well as an excellent selection of games.

The bottom line – if you’re looking for a new casino to join, you might not need to look any further than Lucky 31.
