Complete Guide to Ghost Bingo Casino
We review a lot of “sister” sites. Sister sites are sites that share the same parent company as other sites we’ve reviewed here.
Sometimes these sites are unique. They have a different theme or brand, games, and offers than their sibling sites.
Other times that’s not the case. Everything about them is the same, from the games you can play to the banking options you can use. The only difference is in their name and maybe their color scheme. Otherwise, they’re a carbon copy of the other sites under their parent company.
Ghost Bingo fits in the latter category. They offer nearly everything that their sister sites Wow Bingo, Plush Bingo, and 001 Bingo do. The biggest difference we found is in how they look. There are a couple subtle differences in the promotions department, too. We’ll talk about these later on.
Anyway, being identical is only a bad thing if you already have an account at Wow or Plush Bingo…and only if you require a bingo site that’s 100% unique.
Otherwise, you’re good to go.
Regardless, we recommend you check out Ghost Bingo at the very least because of their aesthetic. We’re fans of their purple and green color scheme, as well as their green ghost logo. It sort of reminds you of Halloween.
Beyond that, they have a solid bingo and casino selection, as well as several offers you can claim. If you already have an account at one of their sister sites, you already know about all of this. We recommend you save your time and head over to Ghost Bingo now to sign up.
For everyone else, we’re going to give you a deeper look into what you can get when you play at Ghost Bingo.
If you’re ready to get started, the review starts in the next section.
Ghost Bingo Basic Information
Ghost Bingo has partnered with ElectraWorks Limited. However, ElectraWorks only operates Ghost Bingo. They don’t own them.
Ghost is owned by Fable Media. Fable Media launched this brand in late 2016, making them a relatively new bingo site.
“New” doesn’t mean “inexperienced,” though. Ghost Bingo is part of the Best Bingo Network, along with several other bingo sites. The BBN has more than 4.5 million players in more than 17 of their bingo rooms. They’ve paid out 6+ figures in jackpot monies.
It’s probably safe to assume that they have some clue as to what they’re doing.
On top of that, Ghost Bingo has a license through the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and the Government of Gibraltar. This means that you can feel safe about playing here. Your money and information are in good hands.
Restricted Countries – Who Can’t Play
Unfortunately, Ghost Bingo doesn’t list who can and cannot play here in their terms and conditions. Instead, they say you can contact their support for an updated list of prohibited countries.
Meh. That’s unnecessary and a total waste of time. Why not just post it in their terms for everyone to see?
They don’t, though, but that didn’t stop us. We got the list from one of our trusty sources. Here is the list of countries that aren’t allowed to play for real money at GhostBingo.com:
- American Samoa
- Arab Jamahiriya
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Cook Islands
- Cote D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
- Czech Republic
- Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North)
- French Guiana
- French Polynesia
- Iran (Islamic Republic of)
- Lao People’s Democratic Republic
- New Caledonia
- Northern Cyprus
- Southern Cyprus
- Northern Mariana Island
- Poland and Yugoslavia
- Puerto Rico
- Republic of Korea (South)
- Metropolitan & Territories
- Russian Federation
- Saint Barthélemy
- Saint Martin
- Saint Pierre and Miquelon
- South Africa
- Syrian Arab Republic
- United States
- United States Minor Outlying Islands
- Virgin Islands (US)
- Wallis and Futuna
We recommend you check their terms and conditions anyway since they can always change their minds and add the prohibited country list there. Besides, there are several things in their terms you should be familiar with before you join.
The Bingo Room
Let’s start off with the bingo room.
Ghost Bingo has a solid selection of bingo rooms and games you can play. Here’s what we found during our review:
- Big Ben – 90-Ball Bingo
- Victoria 90 – 90-Ball Bingo
- Down Town – 80-Ball Bingo
- City Hall – 30-Ball Bingo
- Penny Bingo – 75-Ball Bingo
- Hump Day Room – 90-Ball Bingo
- 3k Payday Jackpot – 90-Ball Bingo
As you can see, you have several variants to choose from. This is unlike many bingo sites we’ve reviewed recently that offer 90-ball or 80-ball bingo and nothing else.
However, unlike Wow Bingo, Ghost doesn’t list their Newbie room where you can get up to 3k worth of free bingo tickets. You’ll find more info on this offer in our promotion section below.
You don’t need free tickets, though, because the stakes you can play for are reasonable. For example, you can buy tickets for as low as £0.01. The most expensive ticket is £0.25, which is for the 3k Payday Jackpot room.
That takes care of their lobby and games. Let’s talk a little about what you’ll find once you open one of their bingo rooms.
The first thing we noticed was the chat box. It said that we entered the room, and immediately we were greeted by the chat moderator. This is pretty cool. We’re sure it helps ease some people’s nerves, especially if they’ve never played bingo online before.
On the left-hand side, you’ll see all the numbers that are called during the game. You can also pre-buy tickets for following games. Then on the top of the screen, you can see the payouts for different wins.
Finally, you can access some of their casino games from a “quick start” sort of box in the top right-hand corner. This can be a great way to kill time between numbers or games.
Overall, it looks like they have a solid bingo offering. They have several games and rooms to choose from and lots of money to win. Players seem to like it, too – there were more than 250 players when we checked them out.
That’s a good sign.
All right, let’s look at their casino next.
Ghost Bingo’s games come from Cozy Games – sort of. Cozy Games is actually a white label provider that works with several of the industry’s top software companies. This means they have games from developers like Microgaming, NetEnt, Eyecon, and others.
Ghost isn’t going to have the biggest selection of games compared to full-blown online casinos. However, our opinion is that anything that’s not bingo should more or less be considered a bonus.
With that perspective, we could almost justify signing up here for their slots section alone. We’ll show you why in just a second.
We’re going to start with the table games you can play here. Surprisingly, you’re going to find far more options here than you will at Wow Bingo. Here’s what we found during our review:
- European Roulette Pro
- Perfect Blackjack Pro
- Blackjack Pro
- Baccarat Combi
- BJ Charlie 7
- European Roulette Classic
- European Roulette Cashed Back
- 3D Blackjack
- 3D European Roulette
- American Roulette
- European Roulette Gold
This is an excellent selection of table games considering this is a bingo site. They also have roughly 5-7 more table games than we found at Wow Bingo, which is also impressive.
You can expect solid graphics considering the software developers they work with. Stakes should start at around £1, though this can vary some depending on the game you play. We wouldn’t be surprised to find maximum limits of at least £100.
Their table selection – through the lens that this is a bingo site – gets two thumbs up from us.
We’ve mentioned in our other reviews that we were surprised to see video poker games at bingo sites. At the same time, we’re happy they have them. It means that their site will appeal to more players.
Here are the video poker games you can play here at Ghost Bingo:
- Jacks or Better
- 10’s or Better
- Aces and Faces
- Deuces Wild
The graphics are average. They’re not as plain or as ugly as the IGT poker machines, but they’re nothing to brag about, either. They sort of look like your kid brother made the images in Paint.
As for stakes, you can play for £0.10 to £5.00 per hand. This isn’t as high as you can play for at other casinos, which would be our only complaint here.
Considering the demographic, though – people who play bingo games for £0.01 to £0.25 per ticket – we hardly think it’s something worth complaining about.
Last up, their slot machines.
Before we show you specific examples of machines you can play, we first want to let you know that they also have scratch tickets you can play. You’ll find them under the Games heading.
Their slot machines will be under the Slots heading (in case you couldn’t figure that out on your own). Here are some of the machines we found during our review:
- Melon Madness Deluxe
- Finn and the Swirly Spin
- Jack in the Box
- Temple of Isis
- Jail Break
- Enchanted Prince
- Jack and the Beanstalk
- Gonzo’s Quest
- White Wizard
- Twin Spin
- Kings of Chicago
- Irish Luck
- Jungle Spirit
- Blood Suckers
- Sugar Train
- Dead or Alive
- Piggy Payout
- Butterfly Staxx
- Doubleup Ducks
- Unicorn Bliss
- Secret Garden
- Irish Gold
- Honey Bees
- Rolling in the Dough
- Cupid’s Arrow
- Wizard’s Castle
- Fiddle Dee Dough
- F.L. Hansel and Gretel
- Paradise Reels
- Lucky Devil
- Creature from the Black Lagoon
- Chasin’ Treasure
- Secret of the Stones
- Coffee House
- Scruffy Duck
- Sugar Train
- Aztec Gold
- And more!
We did a rough count and figure that they have a little more than 150 slot machines to choose from. So this list barely does their selection any justice.
We combed their list and came to the conclusion that you’ll find most themes covered here, too. for example, you can play slots machines revolving around themes like:
- Outer Space
- Universal Studios Monster Movies
- And more!
You’ll also find all the types of slots you’d find in a regular casino, online or off. This includes slots with bonus rounds, wilds, free spins, and other features.
Our favorite slots are those revolving around licensed properties. For example, the Universal Studios’ slots, such as Dracula or The Invisible Man. We also saw a Planet of the Apes slot and a Jimi Hendrix machine.
If we couldn’t play those, we’d check out the Piggy Riches machine because it’s colorful and looks like fun. The other machine we’d play is the Ghost Pirates. You can’t go wrong with ghosts or pirates, and this machine looks like it was modeled after the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Regardless of what you’re into, though, there’s a good chance you can find it here.
Let’s look at your banking options. We’ll list the options for deposits and cash-outs in the following sections, as well as any limits there may be and fees you may have to pay.
You can make a deposit using the following options:
The minimum deposit is £10. They do not charge fees for deposits.
Here are your options for cashing out your winnings:
They say that cash-outs are made to the same method you used to make your first deposit within the last 6 months. The exception is if that option is unavailable for cash-outs to players in your area.
The minimum cash-out is £1, which is pretty cool to see. They don’t hold your money hostage like some casinos with large minimum cash-outs do. This is especially helpful for bingo players, as you’re playing with relatively nominal bankrolls.
Finally, Ghost Bingo processes payments Monday-Friday. It can take up to 3 days to process your request. Once processed, you can expect payments to clear your account within 5-7 working days, though some can be faster. It just depends on what option is used.
What about offers? Can you claim any offers at Ghost Bingo?
You sure can!
Ghost Bingo has 9 different offers running currently. Let’s take a look at each one to see what you can get if you choose to play here. We’ll start with the welcome offers.
- First Deposit Bonus – This is a 100%-300% match bonus deal that you can claim for each of your first 3 deposits. Here’s what this offer looks like:
- First Deposit – 300% match bonus up to £120
- Second Deposit – 150% match bonus up to £60
- Third Deposit – 100% match bonus up to £50
Claim the entire amount for each deposit, and you’ll have an extra £230 to play with. Even better yet, this offer only has a 4x playthrough when you use it in the bingo room.
- Welcome Offer – This is a limited-time offer where you can get up to £3,000 in free bingo tickets during your first week at Ghost Bingo. You claim your tickets in the Newbie Bingo Room. You can claim up to 12 tickets for each game you play.
Each game has a £1-£2 prize too, which will have a 4x playthrough before you can cash out your winnings.
- Sliding Jackpots – Play every day in the Big Ben bingo room. Each game costs only 10p, and 6 games are played every evening. Prizes start at £1,000 and slowly start to go down from there depending on the number of calls made. The minimum prize you can win is £50. Up to £6,000 can be awarded every night.
- Midweek Treat – Every Wednesday, you can play the game in the Hump Day room. Tickets cost 5p, and you can play for a piece of the £250 prize pool. How much you win depends on the type of bingo you win.
- Guaranteed Bingo Bash – Each day from 2 pm-12 am, play one of the games in the Victoria 90 Room, and you can play for one of the 45 seeded pots with at least £25 in it.
- Night Owls – Every night starting at 12 am, you can play the Night Owls game in the Big Ben room. These cost 5p per ticket, and the prizes start at £20. These games run until 7 am every morning.
- Penny Bingo – Play bingo in the Penny Bingo room every night from 4 pm-11 pm. Tickets cost only 1p each, and the game prize is a fixed £5.
- BOGOF – From 1 am-7 am, buy a ticket for 5p in the Victoria 90 room, and you’ll get a ticket free. Game prizes start at £4.
- Refer-a-Friend – Send your friends to Ghost Bingo. For every friend you send that makes a deposit, you’ll get a £5 bonus and 250 bingo tickets.
That wraps it up for their main offers.
However, they also have a loyalty scheme. You’re automatically part of the program as soon as you sign up.
For every £2 you spend playing bingo, you’ll earn 1 loyalty point. For every £10 you wager on slots, you’ll receive 1 point. You won’t receive points for playing blackjack and roulette.
You can convert your points into cash. The minimum you can turn in is 500 points. The most you can turn in is 2,000 points per week and 8,000 points per month.
This is an okay program. The biggest thing we noticed here is that you have to spend twice as much here playing bingo for every point you want to earn compared to Wow Bingo.
We’re not sure why they’d do that. Why would you make your program worse at one casino than at another you own?
It doesn’t make sense.
Ghost Bingo has a mobile-friendly site. That means you don’t have to download anything. Just go to their website from your mobile browser, and you should be good to go.
They say their mobile casino is compatible with Apple, Android, Blackberry, and Windows. We tested their site using an iPhone 6s.
Their site is well-built. The navigation is intuitive to use. They had a decent selection of games, though we’re pretty sure that the games available will depend on where you’re playing from. Their site says there should be more than 50.
Your mileage will vary.
You can contact customer support using the following options:
It’s pretty cool to see that they have a phone number. They’re not what we’d consider a “big” site, so you wouldn’t expect them to take phone calls.
Even cooler yet, they say they offer 24/7 support (by phone and live chat).
We sent them an email to ask about their progressive jackpots. Unfortunately, it’s been a couple days since we reviewed them, and we haven’t heard back from them yet.
Conclusion – Ghost Bingo
Ghost Bingo seems like a pretty solid bingo site and casino.
What’s cool about them is that they have more table games than their sister site Wow Bingo, despite being identical in almost every other way.
They have the same promotions, too. The downside is that, for some reason, Ghost Bingo has made their loyalty scheme harder to earn than Wow Bingo. That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to us.
That said, if you’re going to play nothing but bingo, it makes sense to play at Wow Bingo instead.
Only you’ll know what’s best for you.
