Complete Review of Codeta Casino

Let’s have a chat about Codeta Casino.

One of the first things we look at when we review a casino is the “about” page. We want to know who we’re dealing with.

We checked out Codeta’s and came across what appeared to be a tagline. It said:

“Welcome to Codeta – We know table games.”

Our first impression was, “Eh, we’ll see about that.

It’s something we kept in mind throughout this review. We graded them harder for it, too, because if you’re going to call yourself this or that, you better be good at it.

You want to know the conclusion we came to?

Not so fast! You’ll have to read the review to find out what we think of them. Here’s what we can tell you, though.

There are some things they can do better. We have some specific improvements they can make that, in our eyes, would truly make them a casino for table game players.

Of course, there are things Codeta does well, too. Since we want to give you an accurate, honest, and unbiased review, we’ll tell you about both the good and the bad. You’ll find out what we liked/disliked about their games, banking options, promotions, and more.

By the end of this review, you should be able to make an educated decision as to whether you want to spend your hard-earned money here.

With that in mind, let’s get into the review.

Codeta Casino Basic Information

Codeta Casino is owned and managed by EveryMatrix Software Ltd. EveryMatrix also owns and operates other casinos, such as PlayFrank, YakoCasino, and Flamantis Casino.

EveryMatrix founded their company in 2008. One thing that makes them unique compared to many other gambling companies is their transparency. For example, how many gaming companies do you know of that introduce you to their staff? EveryMatrix does.

It helps you to trust a company when you know who’s behind the scenes, so this is great to see.

As far as Codeta goes… they’re a newish casino. They’ve only been online since 2016.

We get it – brand-new casinos are off-putting, due to the risks associated with them. The good news is that Codeta Casino has licenses through two strict jurisdictions. Their licenses are through the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC). They also have a license through Curacao.

Our opinion – you have nothing to worry about here.

Restricted Countries – Who Can’t Play

Players from the following countries cannot play at Codeta Casino:

  • Australia
  • Netherlands
  • Denmark
  • France
  • Hungary
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Spain
  • Ukraine
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

We still recommend you read their terms and conditions, as things change frequently in the gambling space. While you’re there, you can also find out what software providers are prohibited in your area.

The Casino

Codeta Casino was an interesting casino for us to review because they claim they know table games. They say there’s more to a casino experience than just slots, free spins, and bonuses.

We agree.

The issue for them, however, is that this means that anyone joining their casino for table games will put them under a microscope. Are their table games up to par? Are they better than their competition?

That’s something we asked ourselves as we went through their table game and live casino sections.

Now, regardless of if you’re a table or live game player or if you’re a fan of slots, you’ll have plenty of games to choose from. That’s due to all the software providers Codeta works with.

For example, you can play games from the following software developers:

  • Microgaming
  • NetEnt
  • Evolution Gaming
  • Play’n GO
  • 1x2Gaming
  • Booming Games
  • And more!

Keep in mind that the games available to you will depend on where you’re playing from. Many software companies are prohibited from allowing players from certain regions to play their games. Sometimes they can’t even let players from these areas see them.

One example is NetEnt. We couldn’t view their games when we reviewed Codeta from Canada. Microgaming was no problem, though. Both software providers were okay from the UK.

The bottom line – your mileage may vary.

With that in mind, let’s look at some examples of games you may find at Codeta Casino:

Let’s talk about their table games first. The following is a list of your options:

  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • Blackjack
  • Blackjack MH
  • Double Exposure Blackjack
  • Single Deck Blackjack MH
  • European Blackjack MH
  • Blackjack Bonus
  • Blackjack Players Choice
  • Red Queen Blackjack
  • Vegas Downtown Blackjack

  • Baccarat
  • High Limit Baccarat
  • Baccarat Gold
  • Low Limit Baccarat

  • Double Ball Roulette
  • European Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Roulette Master
  • Odd One In
  • Roulette Pro
  • American Roulette
  • Multi Wheel Roulette Gold
  • English Roulette

Poker Games

  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • TXS Hold’em
  • Casino Stud Poker
  • Three Card Poker
  • Cyber Stud Poker
  • Casino Hold’em

You’ll find their games listed in separate categories just like this. This is unlike most casinos that list all their games under a table or card game heading.

Our first impression is that this is overkill. Why not place them all under a heading like table games or card games?

After giving it some thought, though, we decided we can live with it. Think of it like a filter that you don’t have to mess with. You can quickly find the types of games you want to play from the main navigation.

What’s more, you’ll also find filters for options such as high stakes, animated, jackpot, and games with open seats. That way you can narrow your search further and find the games you prefer even faster.

It also allows Codeta to showcase all their table games, since that’s what they say their focus is. It makes you think of a peacock showing off its feathers.

What’s also unique about their game setup is that they give you a small description of what each game is about and who made it. This is helpful if you have a preference for a specific software provider or for things like graphics or table limits.

Speaking of limits, they’re going to vary from game to game. That said, we did find games that offered limits as low as €1. We found that their maximum limits start at €100 and go up from there. We found a baccarat game that offered €500 per hand and a roulette game with stakes that peaked at €300.

Their graphics will vary, too. We saw graphics that ranged from cartoony or video game-like to realistic, and everything in between.

Overall, Codeta has a solid table game selection that will appeal to most players.

However, it’s hard to buy into their tagline where they say they know table games. If that’s the case, where are all the variants? There are many variants and unique titles they could add. For a casino that says they know table games so well, they should have way more games than their competition.

Video Poker

Next up, their video poker selection. Here are the games we found:

  • All American
  • Double Double Bonus
  • Jacks or Better
  • Bonus Deuces Wild
  • Aces and Faces
  • Deuces Wild
  • Joker Wild
  • Jackpot Poker
  • And more!

This is an average-sized selection of poker games. That said, they do cover the basics. You can also choose from variants like Double Up and 1-, 5-, 10-, 25-, 50-, and 100-hand machines.

One gripe we have is that you’ll find their video poker games listed under two headings – Poker Games and Other Games > Video Poker. It’d be better if they listed them all in the latter section, as they wouldn’t be mixed in with their table games. It’d eliminate any potential confusion there may be.

That’s the worst of it, though.

While we there, we checked out a few games. One machine we played out had the most basic graphics. It wasn’t anything to write home about. As for stakes, you can play for as little as €0.25 to as much as €25 per hand.

Then we found an All American Double Up machine that’d let you play for as little as €0.10 to as much as €50 per hand. You can bet a little more (€62.50) if you choose to play the max on all 25 hands.

As a whole, Codeta has done a decent job with their video poker section.

The slots section is always the biggest one we write. That’s because most casinos have hundreds of slot machines to choose from.

Codeta Casino isn’t any different, which brings us to our first complaint.

We wish they would’ve displayed their games differently. They list their games on this rotating banner thing that you can move from left to right. You can view up to 15 games at a time.

This isn’t a big deal for the previous sections, where you’d find 10-20 games at most. However, with there being so many slot machines, this doesn’t feel like an efficient way to browse them. It’d be much better if they listed them in rows where you can scroll up/down in your browser. You know, like most casinos do.

That said, they do have a few filters to help make browsing their games easier. You can choose from filters like these:

  • Video slots
  • Classic slots
  • Jackpot
  • NetEnt
  • Play N Go
  • IGT
  • Microgaming

This should help you out a little bit. Anyway, here’s a small sample of all the slots you’ll find at Codeta Casino:

  • Riches of Ra
  • Butterfly Staxx
  • Breakin Da Bank Again
  • F.L. Red Riding Hood
  • Cash Stampede
  • Creature from the Black Lagoon
  • Hall of Good
  • Dead or Alive
  • Jungle Spirit Call of the Wild
  • Guns N Roses
  • Route 777
  • Planet of the Apes
  • Justice League
  • Cherry Bomb
  • Circus Wonders
  • Brides Maids
  • Bar Bar Black Sheep
  • Beach
  • Arabian Nights
  • Cold Cash
  • Crypt of the Vampires
  • Desert Drag
  • Devil’s Delight
  • Exotic Fruit
  • Easy Slider
  • Dreams of Fortune
  • F.L. Hansel & Gretel
  • Gods of Olympus
  • Jack and the Beanstalk
  • Lady in Red
  • Little Red Riding Hood
  • Mad Hatters
  • Sparks
  • Strip to Win
  • Sugar Parade
  • Soccer Babes
  • The Invisible Man
  • The Three Musketeers
  • The Secret of the Opera
  • And more!

We took this list from two different sections. Look how diverse it is – you have slots with themes ranging from fairytales to sports to candy to horror… and a whole lot more.

Then you have your slots with bonus rounds, wilds, cascading wilds, free spins, and a bunch of other popular types of machines.

There’s so much to choose from here, which is why we anticipate that some of our readers might get hit with a bout of paralysis by analysis. You don’t know what to play first, so you may not choose anything at all.

We can help you with that. If we were to play here again, these are the machines we’d start with:

  • The Invisible Man – Codeta has several slot machines based on Universal Studios’ monster movies. We checked this one out. It had an entertaining cutscene with excellent graphics. The game itself has a Victorian, steam punk sort of feel to it. It ticks all the boxes for us.
  • Justice League – We’re comic book fans. We’re also of the opinion that no slot machine could ever be as bad as the movie it was based on.
  • Bridesmaids – This is a hilarious movie. We can only imagine how much fun the slot machine is. Not only will you get a chance to laugh, but you’ll also get a chance to win some money… including a 6-figure jackpot.
  • Fairytale Legends Hansel & Gretel – We’ve all heard these stories as kids. How much fun would it to be to play one, while also having the chance to win a little bit of money?

There are loads more, but this gives you something to start with.

Ultimately, so long as you play something from this section, it’s hard to lose. There’s a slot machine for just about everyone here.

Live Dealer Games

Codeta has a live casino, too. The following is a list of live dealer games you can play here:

  • Codetta Blackjack
  • Exclusive Blackjack
  • Blackjack Platinum VIP
  • High Roller Common Draw BJ
  • Blackjack Multiplayer
  • Baccarat
  • Speed Baccarat
  • Baccarat Controlled Squeeze
  • Baccarat Squeeze
  • Authentic Roulette Original
  • High Roller Limit
  • Auto Roulette Live 30 Seconds
  • Auto Roulette La Partage
  • Diamond Roulette
  • Authentic Platinum
  • VIP Roulette
  • Double Ball Roulette
  • Roulette Dragonara
  • Speed Roulette
  • Double Wheel Roulette
  • European Roulette VIP
  • Immersive Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Three Card Poker
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Ultimate Texas Hold’em
  • Dream Catcher
  • Dice Duel
  • And more!

This is an excellent selection of live dealer games. We’re especially impressed with the non-blackjack table games, such as Casino Hold’em and Three Card Poker. You’ll also find variants or additional options like the 21+3 and Perfect Pairs side bet, high limit tables, and more.

Like their animated table games, we’re not super big fans of how they have their live dealer games displayed under so many different categories – blackjack, baccarat, roulette, etc. It’d be great to see them listed all in one section so that you can get a 30,000-foot-view of all the games you can play.

That’s the extent of our complaints, though.

Their live dealer games are high quality, thanks to NetEnt, Evolution Gaming, and Ezugi. Even the demos, which you view from the lobby, stream well without lagging and are clear and easy to see.

Table stakes will vary from game to game and developer to developer. We know that between NetEnt and Evolution, you can play for as little as €0.50-€1 per round/hand. You can play for as much as €2,000-€10,000 for table games and as much as €75,000 for roulette.

The bottom line – Codeta is a solid place to join if you like live dealer games.

We’re still not sure we can say they’re a “table game” casino. There are plenty of other online casinos who have similarly strong table game sections. However, between their live casino and table game selection above, there’s no doubt that table game players will be plenty happy here.

Banking Options

The following section covers what we found in terms of banking options, limits, and fees. You’ll want to pay close attention to the limits, as we ran into a few issues that we needed to clarify with Codeta’s support.

These are the option you can use to fund your account:

  • Trustly
  • EcoPayz
  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • Skrill 1-Tap
  • Paysafecard
  • Visa
  • MasterCard

Looking at their deposit screen, it’s not entirely clear what their limits are. They give you the option of depositing $200, $500, and $1,000, but you can also enter your own value. When you do that, and if you add too much, they’ll tell you that the max value is either 6206 or 62067.

The problem is that they don’t use periods or commas. You can’t either. And when using an option like MasterCard or Visa, you can enter 50000 (€50,000 or €500.00), so you’re not sure what the exact amount you’re entering is.

This isn’t okay, so we reached out to Codeta for clarification. It looks like the number of zeroes you add is before the decimal. For example, if you enter 5000, you entered $5,000. Keep that in mind if you make a deposit here.

As far as the minimum deposit limit, the amount is €10 in your currency.

These are the only two options we were given for cash-outs:

  • Bank Transfer
  • Trustly

That said, their terms and conditions say that your cash-out will go to the method from which your deposit originated. In other words, if you made a deposit using Visa, they will ship your cash out to your Visa.

If that’s not possible, which is usually the case for MasterCard, one of the methods above will be used instead.

They don’t post fees, either. We checked their terms and conditions – it says that the fees are listed next to each cash-out option. The same goes for processing time frames.

We didn’t see either one, so we asked their support about it when we shipped them an email about their deposit limits. Unfortunately, they didn’t answer either of these questions.

Bonus Promotions

The following are the evergreen offers you can claim at Codeta:

  • Deposit Bonus – Make a deposit of €10 or more and receive a 100% match bonus up to €300. Claim the entire thing, and you’ll have €600 to play with.

This offer has a 35x playthrough, and you have 30 days to complete it. Keep in mind that different games will contribute different amounts to the playthrough.

It’s a good idea to go through these (found in their bonus terms) before you claim the offer, just to make sure it’s something you can manage in the time allotted.

  • 10% Cash-Back – This offer is for live casino players. Sign up and make a deposit. Before the end of your first week there, Codeta will give you 10% extra on top of your winnings or 10% back on your net losses.

You’ll need to roll your cash-back over 1x before you can cash out. The minimum payout is €5, and the most you can cash out is €3,000.

  • Weekly Live Bonuses – This is a reload bonus. Receive a 25% match bonus up to €50 in their live casino when you make a deposit between Tuesday and Monday.

This offer comes and goes. You’ll want to keep your eyes out for an email or message, or simply check their promo page periodically to see when they offer it next.

If you claim this offer, keep in mind that you’ll need to roll it over 45x within 7 days of claiming it.

That’s it for their evergreen offers.

They did have another offer where you could receive 25 free spins. However, it looks like it was for a limited time.

Beyond that, they have a VIP program. They don’t say much about it, other than that it’s not open to everyone. They review accounts each month and then reach out to those who qualify. You can always reach out to them if you feel you’re worthy.

While we have no qualms with casinos offering exclusive VIP programs – because high-level players SHOULD be treated differently – there should be a loyalty program for the 99% who don’t qualify.

That’s our biggest complaint here.

Mobile Friendliness

Codeta Casino Screenshot from MobileCodeta has a mobile casino. You don’t have to download anything to access it. Just type their URL into your mobile browser, and you’ll be all set.

We found that their casino is set up identically to their desktop casino. The only difference is that it’s condensed to fit a mobile screen. That includes their navigation, which included multiple categories for all of their games.

In fact, because they use a carousel to display their games, you could assume they created this layout for mobile users. It’s very natural to swipe left (to see each game).

It’s far more effective and intuitive compared to their desktop casino.

Speaking of games, we didn’t check them all because they have hundreds of games. But it looked like most of the games we could play from our desktop we could also play from our phone (location permitting, of course).

We reviewed their mobile casino using an iPhone 6s. Android users shouldn’t have any issues here, though.

Neither should Blackberry or Windows users, assuming they have access to a compatible mobile web browser and Flash.

Customer Support

You can contact support using these options:

They also have a couple FAQ sections where they answer the most common questions people ask.

We shipped them an email to ask about their banking options, limits, and fees. They replied quickly and answered our banking limit question. However, they failed to answer our questions about their fees and processing times.

Their support gets one thumbs-up from us.

Conclusion – Codeta Casino

Codeta Casino isn’t too shabby, yeah?

We think they have a few decent promotions and plenty of banking options. More importantly, they have a solid casino that offers games from all categories. That includes slots, table and card games, video poker, and a live casino.

Most players will enjoy their casino, no doubt about it. Though we question whether they’re truly a “table game” casino considering all the variants they could have, but don’t.

That’s only a mark against them because they claim to know table games. When you say something like that, you’re going to be put under a microscope.

Other than that, we think they could use a general VIP program. A little more transparency or perhaps even some light editing on their banking page would be nice, too.

None of these things are enough to stop us from recommending you check them out, though. It doesn’t matter if you prefer slots, table games, or a live casino run by real humans; Codeta Casino has you covered.
