Chance Hill Casino Review

Chance Hill has been online for a few years, and we first heard of it about two years back. It’s only now, though, that we’ve got around to actually signing up, playing, and reviewing it in full.

When we first landed, we were immediately impressed by the sheer number of games available, especially slots. Providers like NetEnt and Microgaming have our pre-qualified respect, and so we knew this would be a great casino for spinning the reels.

After a quick look around, we found that most things about this casino looked on point. There were a few things we wanted to take a closer look at, such as why there were so few bonuses and promotions, and what the terms and conditions of those were.

Anyway, that was then, and we know basically everything there is to know about Chance Hill now. So, without further ado, let’s get sucked in and see what Chance Hill is like under closer inspection.

Remember, if you’re looking for a one-sided review, this isn’t the site for you. We don’t hide ugly truths, let casinos pay us to overlook unacceptable behavior, or give you only half the story.

Chance Hill Basic Information

Chance Hill holds valid gaming licenses from both the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority. These are not easy to get and these regulators hold casinos to the highest standards in the industry.

This is a newcomer as compared to many of the big-name casinos you’ve probably played at online, but it isn’t brand spanking new, either. Chance Hill came online in 2015 and has been going from strength to strength since.

We always take a look at a casino’s history to see if there are any major events to report such as licenses being revoked, major complaints, lawsuits, and the like. We’re glad to say that Chance Hill has been involved in nothing like that, which is always a good sign. No news is often good news, as far as online casinos go.

So, who’s in charge of Chance Hill? This is another MT SecureTrade casino. These guys are highly experienced operators and run some of the biggest casino brands on the web, including GUTS, Rizk, and Dunder. A competent management team is always a positive thing, and MT SecureTrade is most definitely that.

Now that we’ve covered the “business” side of what’s going on in the engine of Chance Hill, let’s look at the actual casino in more detail.

The Casino

Chance Hill was founded in 2015 in Madrid, Spain, but has since been bought and is now run by the highly experienced MT SecureTrade group. All elements of a casino considered, it’s top-notch, as you will see throughout the rest of this review.

However, Chance Hill does have some room for improvement. Those areas for improvement haven’t escaped our expert reviewer, and we will outline them for you here.

Before going into detail, let’s just say this. Whatever type of game you want to play, you’ll be able to play it here. Everything else about Chance Hill will be revealed as we go on.

Table Games

There’s a decent selection of table games available here, covering all of the popular games, at least. It’s not a massive selection, but there are a total of 21 table games in total, including some variants of the same base game.

We checked out at least one version of each main game listed below. They’re all high-quality and are provided by NetEnt, Play n’ Go, and Microgaming. In some of the games, you can choose to set your graphics quality to low, medium, or high to save data if using a mobile connection. Either way, the graphics are sharp and the games run smoothly.

Betting limits start as low as £1 (e.g. roulette by NetEnt) and go as high as £5,000 in some games (e.g. baccarat.)

Here are the table games you’ll find.

  • Double Zero Roulette
  • Single Zero Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • English Roulette
  • Monopoly Roulette
  • Multi Wheel Roulette
  • Classic Baccarat
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Monte Carlo Blackjack
  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • Red Dog Poker
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Casino Hold’em Poker
  • Super Wheel
  • Mahjong

There are a few duplicate games, such as two versions of French roulette.

Video Poker

There are nine video poker games total at Chance Hill. These cover most of the popular games you’ll have heard of before. Some of the more exotic variants, such as Louisiana Double, are absent.

Each game has different betting minimums and limits, but bets can start from as little as £1 per hand to as much as £100 for the high-rollers among you, depending on the variant.

Most of the games are provided by Microgaming, with a couple of NetEnt games in the mix, too. As you would expect from these game providers, the quality is world-class. The graphics are pretty basic (as with all video poker games), but there are no jumps or freezes, which is the main concern when playing casino games.

Video poker games include the ones listed below.

  • All American
  • All American 100-Hand
  • Aces and Faces
  • Deuces Wild
  • Deuces and Joker
  • Jacks or Better
  • Joker Poker
  • Tens or Better
  • 2x Double Bonus Power Poker

There are a huge number of slots at Chance Hill, with some 944 games available in the library currently. This is constantly being updated as new games come out; games range from classic 3-reel types to the latest releases.

Slots software providers include NetEnt, Microgaming, IGT, NextGen, Yggdrasil, Red Tiger, Play n’ Go, WMS, Thunderkick, and Aristocrat. If you have been playing slots for long enough, you’ll already know these are all respected names.

One of the cooler things about Chance Hill is the way you can search for games. There’s a standard search bar, but you can also use filters to locate certain types of slots. Filters are listed below.

  • High Risk - High Reward
  • Exploding Wilds
  • Win Both Ways
  • Free Spins
  • Progressive Jackpots
  • Sticky Symbols
  • Great Bonus Games

You can also search by the software provider, which allows you to zero in on the slots you like most.

You can play many of the slots in demo mode before registering an account, so if you see anything you like the look of, feel free to check it out without risking anything.

Some of the best slots online are available here, including:

  • Halloween
  • Lost Vegas
  • Beautiful Bones

Live Dealer Games

There are 63 live games at Chance Hill, but many of them are duplicates either provided by a different software company or with a slightly different take on the game, for example, Baccarat and Baccarat Squeeze.

Bets start from as little £0.50 in some blackjack games, and go up to as much as £10,000 in some roulette games. Obviously, the higher the upper limit, the higher the minimum bet, and vice versa. Dream Catcher can be played from £0.10 per spin if you’re into that.

The live games are provided by NetEnt and Evolution Gaming, with Evolution Gaming providing the majority of them. You can use the search filters to eliminate one or the other from your search results if you wish.

Live game options include:

  • Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Auto Roulette
  • Dragonara Roulette
  • Double Ball Roulette
  • Speed Roulette
  • VIP Roulette
  • Immersive Roulette
  • Baccarat
  • Baccarat Squeeze
  • VIP Baccarat
  • Blackjack
  • Blackjack Silver
  • Blackjack White
  • Blackjack VIP
  • Dream Catcher
  • Casino Hold’em Poker
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Three Card Poker
  • Ultimate Texas Hold’em

Banking Options

We’re glad to report that there are no fees from Chance Hill with regards to any of its payment methods. However, if you deposit and don’t bet, they may take a 10% slice or refuse the transaction.

We’ve provided a full list of both the deposit and withdrawal methods below. Everything is pretty standard, with nothing either outstandingly good or bad about withdrawal times, limits, or anything else.

There are a decent number of ways to deposit, but only two ways to withdraw. That needs to be improved ASAP. A casino should always give you as many ways to get your money out as it gives to get it in.

Payment Type Turnaround Time Fee Minimum Maximum
Credit Cards Instant 0 £20 £1,000
Neteller Instant 0 £20 £1,000
Skrill Instant 0 £20 £1,000
Paysafecard Instant 0 £20 £1,000
Trustly Instant 0 £20 £1,000

Payment Type Turnaround Time Fee Minimum Maximum
Trustly 3-5 business days 0 £20 £5,000
SEPA Wire Transfer 3-5 business days 0 £20 £5,000

Note that unless you have wagered a deposit at least once, Chance Hill can refuse a withdrawal or take a 10% fee. You will also be asked to verify your identity when you make a withdrawal of £2,300 or greater.

When verifying your identity, you will need to provide a form of government-issued ID and two household utility bills within the last three months. If this worries you, it shouldn’t. It actually proves that Chance Hill takes money laundering and other crimes seriously, and is working to provide a safe, crime-free gambling environment.

At any point in time, you can see your transaction history. Just click “my account” then go to the “transactions” tab.

Bonus Promotions

Unlike many other casinos, which offer daily bonuses and promos, Chance Hill keeps things simple. It offers a welcome bonus for new players and a weekend free spins bonus. Occasionally, there are other time-bound promotions.

Welcome Bonus

As a new player at Chance Hill, you can claim a welcome bonus of 100% up to €50.

This is definitely a smaller than average welcome bonus, but it’s designed to appeal to mobile slots players, so that’s to be expected.

To avail of this bonus, you’ll need to deposit a minimum of €10. €5 maximum bet limits apply when using bonus cash and 60x wagering requirements apply to the bonus cash.

Those wagering requirements are way above average, almost double in fact. That takes a little bit of shine off this bonus, in our view.

You also won’t be able to claim this bonus if you’re from one of the following countries.

  • Albania
  • Belarus
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Croatia
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Macedonia
  • Moldova
  • Russia
  • Serbia
  • Slovakia
  • Thailand
  • Ukraine

Weekend Free Spins

For every €10 you deposit on a Saturday or Sunday, you can claim 15 free spins on The Legend of Shangri La slot by NetEnt.

75 free spins per day is the maximum, giving you a potential total of 150.

Deposits via Neteller and Skrill are excluded and wins need to be wagered 35x.

Now that’s a good deal, and makes the welcome bonus look bad by comparison. Why not offer something as enticing as this to begin with, Chance Hill?

Prize Draws

From time to time, Chance Hill will hold a prize draw. These are always time-bound and usually run for at least two weeks.

For example, this month there was a trip to Florida up for grabs. Each €200 wagered would have gotten you one ticket to the draw.

The nature of these deals always changes, so keep an eye on the promotions tab for the latest information.

There is no Chance Hill VIP program.

Mobile Friendliness

Chance Hill Casino Screenshot from iPhoneChance Hill can be accessed by any mobile phone or tablet directly on the flash website. We recommend using Google Chrome or Safari for best results.

The site is simple enough, with a Chance Hill logo at the top and the most popular games laid out as thumbnails below. There’s also a small menu with three game categories on it - slots, table games, and live games.

Slots players will be pleased to know you’ll have access to the full suite of slots on mobile. There are no restrictions as compared to desktop devices.

There are fewer table games though. The following is a quick rundown of the table games available on mobile.

Table Games

  • Classic Roulette
  • Double Zero Roulette
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Monte Carlo Blackjack
  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • 21 + 3 Blackjack
  • Super Wheel
  • Mahjong

The same is true of the live games. You’ll be able to enjoy the following on a mobile device.

Live Dealer Games

  • Classic Roulette
  • Immersive Roulette
  • VIP Roulette
  • Dream Catcher
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Blackjack Silver
  • VIP Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • VIP Baccarat

Pretty much everything else about the mobile casino is the same as the desktop version, meaning the bonuses, customer service options, and banking methods remain the same.

There is a Chance Hill app available for iOS devices running an OS 9.0 or later. It’s 24.1MB in size and has over 1,000 games when you include the slots.

Customer Support

You can reach Chance Hill customer support by phone, email, or live chat.

PHONE: +35620320031
  • Phone - This is a major point scorer for us. We like when a casino considers those players who don’t like digital communication. The number you’ll want to call is +35620320031. This is a Malta number, and international calling charges may apply. is the address if you choose to use this option.
  • Email - We didn’t send an email personally since live chat is also available. From digging around, it seems that responses can take anywhere between 6-12 hours to come. This could definitely be improved. A response time of under 2 hours is ideal for a busy casino.
  • Live Chat - You’ll notice the little blue “speech bubble” icon in the bottom right at all times. Just click it to connect with a live chat agent. We connected in under 20 seconds and were dealt with in a respectful, helpful manner. The issue (asking about mobile apps) was resolved in minutes and we were pleased with the service we experienced.

Despite having multiple great ways to get in touch, the customer service options are only available between 08:00-00:00 CET. That leaves the night owls all alone. Ideally, we would like to see 24/7 support in the future.

Conclusion – Chance Hill

Chance Hill is one of those casinos that’s doing most things right but has a few areas for improvement. All things considered, there’s no reason to avoid it and plenty of reasons to play here, just as long as you know what the strengths and weaknesses are.

We would definitely like to see 24/7 customer support and much lower wagering terms on the welcome bonus. While many casinos are doing away with wagering requirements altogether, 60x is simply too high.

Those two negatives are far outweighed by the good stuff, though. The selection of games is both huge and high-quality, the mobile experience is flawless, and the weekend free spins represent a deal well worth taking.

Ultimately, you’ll have to decide whether Chance Hill is the casino for you. We definitely recommend checking it out further, at the very least!
