The Premier League weekend kicks off on Friday as two mid-table sides meet at Molineux, both with an eye on making a play for the European places.

Wolves have looked much improved in the last few weeks and will be hoping that it can pick up another three points at home.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Leeds United Odds

Wolverhampton Wanderers to Win+155
The Draw+220
Leeds United to Win+183

The odds offered by BetOnline for this fixture appear very straightforward, considering that the two clubs sit next to each other in the Premier League table and are only separated by two points. Leeds has looked better throughout the season, but Wolves has won two of its last three. The draw bet might be worth a look.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Leeds United Match Analysis

Nuno Espirito Santo will be overjoyed with the news that Raul Jimenez has been responding well in training this week, as he has sorely missed the goals of the Mexican striker in his absence. But the last few weeks have been better, with the win over Southampton last weekend the second in three games.

But Wolves was fortunate to receive a penalty award early in the second half that changed the outlook of the game. From then on, it looked the better of the two – but it did still need a stunner of a goal from Pedro Neto to confirm the points. This season has turned into a bit of a place setter for Wolves – and the sooner Jimenez comes back, the better.

Leeds, on the other hand, comes into this game on the back of a heavy beating from an Arsenal team that played it at its own game. The Gunners were able to handle Leeds’ famous press with relative ease and then turned the ball over to attack Marcelo Bielsa’s team at pace.

Kalvin Phillips was missed in that defeat, but the England midfielder should be back for the trip to the Black Country. His invention and creativity set up the likes of Patrick Bamford and Raphinha – and there should be more successful attacking movements at Molineux than there were at the Emirates.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Leeds United Prediction and Pick

  • Wolves to Win

With Wolves back on a good streak, I think that this game could be a great advert for the Premier League on Friday. I see these two sides as very even this season – and would normally go for the draw bet. But Leeds doesn’t tend to draw games, so I feel that the advantage just about lies with the home team here.
