Brighton is just about safe from relegation now after winning last week, so it will be interesting to see how Graham Potter sets out his team in the early game on Sunday.

Wolves are now just seeing the season out after retaining its Premier League status for another year, so this might not be a game-high on excitement.

BetOnline must feel as though the Wolves players are already on the beach as it makes Brighton the favorite to take all three points on Sunday.

The Seagulls mathematically need the points to stay up this season, so the away win could be a good bet. The draw might be of better value, though.

Nuno Espirito Santo changed around his starting eleven for the Black Country derby against West Brom on Monday. Whether that was because of the abject performance against Burnley the week before, or the long list of injuries and illness at the club, only the Portuguese head coach will know for sure.

The youngsters he brought in had little effect on a fairly tepid first half.

More changes are likely this weekend, and how well the players hit the ground running will have a big say on how this game goes.

Graham Potter has also had to deal with injuries to some of his best players this season but can just about celebrate staying up now – and a win on Sunday would make sure of that. The 2-0 win against Leeds last weekend was a great result in that regard and should give his players more confidence at Molineux.

There will be some fans complaining about Potter’s regime at the south coast club but keeping Brighton in the Premier League should be applauded; that job is just about done for another season. A new goal-scoring striker might be top of the wanted list for the summer, but Brighton will be happy with sneaking a narrow victory this weekend if that’s on offer.

Wolves have desperately missed Raul Jimenez this season – and the sale of Diogo Jota just weeks into the campaign severely affected the club’s chances of achieving anything of note. But there needs to be some kind of renewed effort in the final weeks – and that is something that the younger players being thrown into the side might bring. A hard-fought draw could be on the cards.
