West Ham United vs. Sheffield United Betting Preview – EPL, February 15, 2021

West Ham continues its surprising push for a Europa League place and will feel confident of overcoming bottom of the table Sheffield United on Monday.
But the Blades have picked a few points in the last few months and might be up for providing a shock of their own at the London Stadium.
West Ham United vs. Sheffield United Odds
I can completely understand why BetOnline has made West Ham the favorites to win this game at home on Monday. But there is not really a plan B to David Moyes’ tactics – and if anything goes wrong for the home side, Sheffield United looks to be in the mood to capitalize. The draw might be worth a closer look.
West Ham United vs. Sheffield United Match Analysis
Before this round of fixtures kicks off on Saturday, West Ham will be just one point behind Liverpool in fourth and hopeful that a favorable selection of results on Saturday and Sunday might even mean that it enters the Champions League places by the end of this game.
But that is assuming that West Ham will definitely beat Sheffield United. The Hammers would seem to have the better team, but if Michail Antonio is forced out of the starting eleven, there is little to replace him upfront. It is those kinds of limitations that could ultimately end West Ham’s dream of European qualification this season.
Continental competition is the last thing on Chris Wilder’s mind as he attempts to pull off the greatest of great escapes with this Sheffield United team. The Blades have won a few games since the turn of the year but still have a long way to go before there is any real chance of Premier League survival.
The FA Cup has been a welcome distraction for the players, managing to overcome three rounds against lower league opposition to reach the quarterfinal stage. But it is the league that is all-important, and Sheffield United needs to start scoring some more goals – at the very least – if it has any chance of staying up.

The Draw+260
I would have liked better odds for the selection, but I think that West Ham might struggle on Monday – especially if Antonio misses out. Sheffield United has a little confidence at last but, even after spending a lot of money on Rhian Brewster, just doesn’t score many goals. A low-scoring draw could be the final outcome here.
