Udinese vs. AC Milan – Serie A, November 1, 2020
Udinese opened this season with three consecutive losses, in which they failed to score a single goal. However, they improved a bit recently after scoring three in a 3-2 victory over Parma at home, and then two more in a 3-2 loss to Fiorentina on the road. The proof that Le Zebrette improved is the most recent game in Coppa Italia, in which they defeated Vicenza 3-1. Udinese is in 18th position with three points after five games.
AC Milan, on the other hand, allowed only one goal in the opening four wins, but they dropped the first points of the season in a 3-3 home draw with AS Roma. The Rossoneri are doing fine in the Europa League, where they beat Celtic and Sparta Prague in the first two rounds. Stefano Pioli’s team is at the top of Serie A with 13 points after five games, four more than the reigning champions Juventus.

Udinese vs. AC Milan Odds
Udinese Team News and Stats
Following three straight Serie A defeats to-nil, Udinese scored five goals in the previous two league games and gained their first three points (W1, L1). Each of those two matches produced over 4.5 match goals which have been a case in only five of their 43 league games since the start of the 2019/20 campaign. Curiously, one of those five was the last H2H duels which they lost 3-2.
Udinese defeated Parma in their last home Serie A game (3-2), snapping a three-game losing streak here. Worryingly, Le Zebrette allowed the opening goal in each of their five Serie A matches this term, with three of those goals coming before the 30th minute. Still, they’ve come back to claim points twice in the previous four home H2H encounters that saw them concede the first goal (W1, D1).
Luca Gotti will be without Rolando Mandragora (knee) and Mato Jajalo (knee).
AC Milan Team News and Stats
A 3-3 draw against Roma in the previous Serie A round snapped Milan’s 100% start to the new league campaign (W4, D1), but made it 17 league games without a loss since the June restart for the Rossoneri (W13, D4). Furthermore, Milan scored the opener in 13 of those matches, including the last ten in a row!
Six of those previous ten Serie A openers came in the first 15 minutes, with Milan striking first in all last nine competitive away matches (W8, D1, penalties included). The visitors have also scored first in four of the previous five H2H duels held at Dacia Arena (W2, D1, L2).
Zlatan Ibrahimović is a player to watch in this match as he has scored a brace in each of his first three Serie A games. He became the first player to do so since 1994/95.
Stefano Pioli cannot count on Gianluigi Donnarumma (illness), Matteo Gabbia (illness), Jens Hauge (illness), and Mateo Musacchio (ankle), while Ante Rebic (elbow) is questionable to feature on Sunday.
Udinese vs. AC Milan Pick
Milan won four of the previous ten H2H encounters (D3, L3), including three of the last six (D2, L1), but Udinese won five of the past eight meetings at Dacia Arena (D1, L2).
The Rossoneri scored more than one goal at this venue only twice in the last 13 appearances, but considering Udine allowed at least a goal in each of six matches this season, I am pretty sure Milan will get a minimum of one. With Udinese scoring eight goals in the last three games, I am also backing them to find the back of the net. Therefore, my bet for this duel is BTTS.
