But you know what really chaps my nuts about Volkanovski? He’s such a cool guy. But am I adding him to a hopeful MMA DFS winning lineup for UFC 273 because he’s “alright for an Aussie, I guess?” Nah. He gets the nod because he is the top pick for this Saturday’s UFC fights. 

What’s more, he’s about the baddest man the featherweight division has right now.

Well, why don’t you just go ahead and make a decision! I’ve been faced with the same dilemma that anyone making UFC 273 DFS picks has but have come around to see sense. Yan is an animal, and I’m not sure even the best version of Aljo can overcome him this weekend.

He screwed up royally in the first bout, landing an illegal knee. He deserved to have his title taken from him on account of such reckless stupidity. But he wants it back, and he’s going to get it. Although the “Funk Master” is a phenomenal mixed martial artist, Yan is better.

There. I said it.

Oh. Look at what I’ve done. I’ve added Chimaev to my top daily fantasy MMA picks for UFC 273.

Well, duh. 

No disrespect to Gilbert Burns, who is an absolute legend. But he’s getting smoked this weekend and I’m not even going to pretend that he has a chance against this guy. If I am wrong, I will happy to be wrong. How incredible would it be to see “Durinho” smash Khamzat? Exactly.

He’s got a phenomenal striking game. His wrestling is unreal. And he’s not perturbed by the prospect of facing a bona fide gangster grappler in Burns.

Chimaev has had four fights in the promotion and finished all of them. But the scariest part? He took just two strikes in those matches. Two! 

An absolute savage, Chimaev’s name will be on winning MMA DFS lineups for UFC 273.

I hope this will be a top winnable DFS lineup for UFC 273 this weekend. All things considered, I don’t think there is any room to do better. Without spending too much time on the nuts and bolts of these picks, why not focus on the fact that my top DFS picks for UFC 273 speak for themselves.

Well, funny you should ask. Although the one-time title contender is 2-3 from his last five, those three losses have come against 75% of the top four heavyweights on the planet.

Yes. Of course, we can excuse those losses.

Besides getting starched by Ngannou, the incumbent UFC heavyweight champion, Suriname’s “Bigi Boy” has never been stopped. His two victories inside that five-fight window have been knockouts of Junior dos Santos and Augusto Sakai, and I bet he’ll add another stoppage to his record this weekend.

Finally, add Julio Arce to your best free MMA DFS lineup for UFC 273. 

Arce is an expensive addition to my lineup, but certainly fits the mold of fighters who should win at UFC 273.
