We all expected a close group C in the LoL Worlds 2020 Main Events and the early games have been all tightly contested. I don’t see a reason why something should change on Tuesday and I can’t wait for the next round.

Team SoloMid and LGD Gaming will close the day with a clash that could be epic. Both sides have been competitive so far and every match is crucial in this group.

The opening match of Team SoloMid was extremely entertaining and easily could’ve gone either way. The North American squad started slowly against Fnatic before finding some success in the mid-game, but the opponent made some better decisions to win it late.

TSM’s inability to stop two Barons was a concern and the squad certainly needs to apply a better strategy in the future. On the bright side, the team looked very solid mechanically and had some sick plays.

The potential for a good run in the Worlds is there, but Team SoloMid has to find a win soon or going out of the group might become an impossible task.

I’m not sure how LGD Gaming improved so quickly, but this doesn’t look like the team that struggled badly in the Play-In. I believe that the pressure got to the Chinese squad in the previous stage of the LoL Worlds 2020 and the poor results served as a much-needed slap in the face.

LGD looked so much better in the group stages so far. The team lost a close game against Gen.G in the opening match, but then beat Fnatic after getting three early dragons and putting the opponent under immense pressure.

The Chinese side should have the upper hand over TSM in terms of strategy, but the North Americans are dangerous, so the match could go either way.

I believe this one is going to be really close and the big question here is if TSM would find the optimal spots to take and defend objectives. LGD has been better at it so far and that’s the reason I favor the Chinese side as well.

And yet, the price of -143 for an LGD win is simply not good enough. It should be higher than that and I believe that TSM will keep it close. Going for the underdog to stay within the handicap here makes the most sense, in my opinion.
