Tanner Boser vs. Ovince Saint Preux (UFC Vegas 30)

The odds for Tanner Boser to beat Ovince Saint Preux in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 30 make him a moderate favorite on the night.

These two will go head to head in the heavyweight division on June 26, with Saint Preux looking to grab his first win in the division. I’ll be talking a little about the UFC Vegas 30 odds for Boser vs. OSP and providing a few of the best bets to place on the fight.

I don’t think anyone expects Tanner Boser to beat Ovince Saint Preux and move on to a title shot. Not even the man himself.

But a win would push him closer to breaking into the top-15 of the official UFC heavyweight rankings. So, it’s a good start, whatever you look at it. 

Luckily for “The Bulldozer,” I’m giving him the edge in my predictions for Boser vs. Saint Preux this Saturday. I’ll explain why after we cover the latest odds and top bets for the fight. 

Boser’s odds to beat Saint Preux are -175 with BetOnline. 

Although far from a world-beater, the Canadian should have too much power for his man. This is evidenced by 10 KO/TKO wins from the 19 he has registered so far as a professional. 

Ultimately, there is good value to be had backing Boser to win. 

Saint Preux’s name and reputation are probably responsible for the odds you see above.

The only problem is that, well, other than pushing Jon Jones in 2016 and landing a couple of Von Flue chokes, he hasn’t done a great deal over the past five years or so.

Including the loss to Jones at UFC 197, OSP is 6-8. Yes, he has a very dangerous submission game, but he’s faded as a fighter over the past couple of years. 

OK, so let’s take a look at the top bets for Boser vs. Saint Preux at UFC Vegas 30.

First up is Boser to win. I’ve already mentioned that there is still value in this price, even if the Canadian initially opened at -130 with the best UFC betting sites. 

Now, anyone looking to cash in on predictions, picks, and betting tips for Boser vs. Saint Preux might be tempted to look elsewhere. However, I don’t think there is a better bet to be had on this fight than for Boser to win by KO/TKO, and the odds certainly do the trick. 

If you’re looking to go big or go home, my prediction of a KO/TKO win in Round 2 will net you a sizeable profit if it comes through.

Having turned 38 in April, it’s safe to say that the end of OSP’s career is in sight. 

In December, Saint Preux was knocked out by Jamahal Hill in what was the Haitian-American’s 40th professional bout. A fight that you would think he would have found it easy to motivate himself for.

But that wasn’t the case at all. Instead, a subpar performance looked even worse since OSP failed to make weight. Now, in my mind, that’s not a good sign for a guy of his age. It means that his years and mileage are catching up with him, and/or his love for the game just isn’t there anymore.

I guarantee you that this guy will be the more motivated fighter because he has more to fight for. So, therefore, get on Boser to take advantage of the aging, apathetic OSP and get him out of there by Round 2.

I’m taking Tanner Boser to put a beatdown on Ovince Saint Preux in the co-main of UFC Vegas 30. 

I like the younger man’s chances and believe his power and drive will get the job done inside the distance. OSP will not have enough about him to resist, unfortunately for his fans.
