There are more than 100 table tennis matches scheduled for Thursday, October 22. The list includes pro tournaments as well as amateur competitions, mostly from Europe. I share more information about them in this post before moving on to my table tennis predictions for today, along with betting tips and picks.

I’ve prepared three picks for you based on my analysis and the latest odds of the best betting sites online. Feel free to add your own thoughts and table tennis predictions in the comments section at the end.

Today’s Table Tennis Games

Let’s take a look at the main table tennis tournaments that are about to take place on Thursday, October 22.

Challenger Ochsenhausen

The most important competition scheduled for today is the Ochsenhausen Challenger. You can watch plenty of young and talented players that are trying to find their way to pro table tennis elite. Here are some of the most interesting matches on Thursday.

  • Koyo Kanamitsu vs. Jakub Folwarski
  • Evgueni Chitchetinine vs. Elia Schmid
  • Emiliano Riofrio vs. Dauud Cheaib

Moscow Liga Pro, Russia

As always, the biggest amateur league in Russia features tens of matches today. Let’s take a look at some of Liga Pro’s finest duels on Thursday.

  • Oleg Melkov vs. Aleksandr Kolmin
  • Mikhail Panochin vs. Ivan Afanasev
  • Yaroslav Bazhinov vs. Maxim Pronkin

Setka Cup, Ukraine

Some of the best of the Ukrainian amateur table tennis scene can be seen in the Setka Cup that includes plenty of men’s and women’s fixtures. Here are some that catch the eye.

  • George Poturidis vs. Oleh Stroilov
  • Taras Yemelianov vs. Pavlo Volkov
  • Kateryna Hubska vs. Oksana Kolosovska

TT Cup, Ukraine

The other big amateur even in Ukraine is the TT Cup that has more than 30 matches on the schedule for October 22. Here are some of them.

  • Valerii Melnyk vs. Valentyn Yunchuk
  • Dmitry Dubrovin vs. Nazarii Mosiuk

TT Star Series, Czech Republic

There’s plenty of action in the Czech Republic as well, with about 50 encounters from the TT Star Series.

  • Lukas Soucek vs. Vojtech Rozinek
  • Martin Olejnik vs. Michal Obeslo
  • Jakub Seibert vs. Ondrej Bajger

Betting Picks and Predictions for October 22

Now that you know the schedule, it’s time to move on to my table tennis tips for today. Here are my best bets.

  • Andrii Lifanov to beat Yaroslav Stepanchuk; -175
  • Vladyslav Mischenko to beat Ivan Efimenko; +120
  • Andrii Skliarenko (-1.5) vs. Dmytro Lazuryk; +137

I’m quite surprised to see a price of -175 for Andrii Lifanov to beat Yaroslav Stepanchuk. The favorite has been excellent recently and has mostly victories since the start of October, while his opponent’s win rate this month is way under 50%.

I believe that the clash between Vladyslav Mischenko and Ivan Efimenko is a coin toss. Both men have plenty of experience in the Setka Cup and have been solid recently, so getting +120 for either one is excellent value.

Andrii Skliarenko and Dmytro Lazuryk met twice already in October and both matches finished with a 3-1 victory for the former. It seems like Skliarenko has his opponent’s number, so the price of +137 for him to cover the -1.5 handicap once again looks like one of the top table tennis picks today.
