Sassuolo is still undefeated after the opening six rounds and is one of three teams without a loss, alongside AC Milan and Juventus. The Black and Greens even managed to get three points against Napoli on the road, despite playing without an injured front three (Caputo, Berardi, and Djuricic). It was also the first time this season Sassuolo kept their net intact. They are now in 2nd place with 14 points, two behind Milan.

Udinese, on the other hand, did improve in recent weeks but they suffered a fifth defeat of the campaign and are only two points from the bottom. After the latest home loss to AC Milan in a game they were pretty tied with the favorites, the Little Zebras dropped to the 19th position with three points, only two more than the last-placed Crotone.

With 14 points in the first six Serie A matches, Sassuolo is currently enjoying its best six-game start to a top-flight season (W4, D2). Entertaining second halves have been a common theme in those contests, as the Black and Greens have scored 2+ goals after the 57th minute in each of the previous five, including the victory at Napoli last time out (2-0).

Expect a lot of action here, as Sassuolo scored eight goals in their opening three Serie A games at home, with 62.5% of them coming in the final ten minutes!
